Briefly: Batman: Arkham Origins received some very polarizing reviews when it launched this October (I haven’t had a chance to check out the game yet, so I’m not sure where my opinion sits), but that doesn’t mean that the upcoming Initiation DLC doesn’t look very cool.

The Initiation Challenge Map Add-On focuses on Bruce Wayne before he donned his cowl, and introduces a new challenge campaign with four unique challenge maps and two original skins — Initiation Bruce Wayne and Vigilante Bruce Wayne.

Set high in the Paektu-San Mountains of North Korea, the Initiation Add-On follows a young Bruce Wayne as he faces his ultimate test. Players will embark upon a series of challenge maps that test their martial arts training across exotic locales, including a bamboo forest and a mountain top monastery. Combat fresh enemies and face an epic final test to prove your worthiness to Bruce’s greatest and most pitiless teacher, Kirigi.

The DLC pack hits PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC tomorrow. Be sure to let us know what you thought of the base game, and if you’ll be picking up this DLC!

Briefly: The second season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead is set to kick off later this month, and we couldn’t be more excited! The first season was my favourite game of 2012, and it seems like an absolute dream come true that Telltale will be running two incredible adventures at once (The Wolf Among Us, and the second season of The Walking Dead.)

Telltale has released a new image from the game, which confirms the return of another of season one’s prominent characters, Omid. The company has also revealed the title of the upcoming first chapter, “All That Remains.”

Take a look at the image below, and let us know if you’re excited! The Walking Dead: Season Two is set to kick off this month, and we’ll be sure to share anything new that’s released!

Briefly: While the full trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 won’t drop until December 5th (Thursday), Sony has just released three brief teasers for this week’s upcoming footage.

The teasers don’t really reveal anything about the upcoming trailer, and simply feature Spidey swinging around the city, but did Sony also uncover a subtitle for the film? The (spanish) teasers all end with The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro titling.

It’s certainly interesting, and we’ll be sure to fill you in as we learn more. Take a look at the teasers below, and be sure to check back for the full trailer on Thursday!

In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Briefly: Could a Sin City television series follow the oft-delayed (and once retitled) Sin City: A Dame to Die For?

Well, the Weinsteins are working on one.

While speaking to The New York Times, Harvey Weinstein stated that “The way to add stability to the company is to be in the television business,” and that the end goal was to have a small-screen division “as powerful as the theatrical division.”

In any case, this could be great news for fans.

Weinstein elaborated that a Sin City series could quickly follow the next film, A Dame to Die For. Could this have been the reasoning behind this year’s last-minute delay of the film?

The Weinsteins are planning a myriad of other series based on existing properties (and new IPs) as well, including:

– The Mist (10-episode, with Frank Darabont involved, naturally)
– Silver Linings Playbook (don’t ask me how on this one)
– The 10 Commandments
– 10-episode detective drama titled Book of the Dead
–
a 14-episode War and Peace series

Would you be interested in a Sin City series? How about The Mist? With under a year to go until Sin City: A Dame to Die For hits theatres (August 22nd, 2014), they better get moving!

Update: Walker’s representatives have confirmed the actor’s death:

It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend’s car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences

Briefly: We’re still waiting for official confirmation, but TMZ has reported that actor Paul Walker died today in a fiery car accident. He was 40 years old.

According to the report, the actor lost control of his Porsche, which then crashed and burst into flames. TMZ’s sources state that Paul and one passenger were confirmed dead at the scene.

The accident took place in Valencia, California, where Walker was attending a car show which supported the Philippine typhoon relief effort.

Our thoughts go out to Paul’s friends, family, and his 15 year old daughter, Meadow.

Briefly: An eagle-eyed theatregoer snapped a photo of the first official poster for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 after a showing of Disney’s Frozen tonight.

The image looks to feature our first official look at Paul Giamatti’s Rhino, as well as the Green Goblin (wasn’t he supposed to be a surprise villain). The photo is pretty low quality, but we’ll be sure to share a higher-res version as soon as it’s available.

Take a look at the image below, and let us know what you think! The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theatres on May 2nd, 2014!

Briefly: Rick and Morty, the new animated series from Community‘s Dan Harmon and House of Cosbys’ Justin Roiland just got its premiere date a few weeks ago, and now you can watch the pilot online!. The show follows a sociopathic scientist who drags his unintelligent grandson on insanely dangerous adventures across the universe, and it looks absolutely hilarious.

Here’s a synopsis from Adult Swim:

After missing for nearly 20 years, Rick Sanchez (Justin Roiland) suddenly arrives at his daughter Beth’s (Sarah Chalke) doorstep looking to move in with her and her family. Beth welcomes him with open arms, but her unremarkable husband Jerry (Chris Parnell) isn’t too thrilled about the tearful reunion as Rick’s arrival serves to shake things up quite a bit around the household. Rick converts the garage into his personal laboratory and gets to work on all sorts of dangerous sci-fi gadgets and contraptions. That wouldn’t be so bad if not for the fact that Rick continues to involve his grandchildren Morty (Roiland) and Summer (Spencer Grammer) in his insane adventures.

Rick and Morty doesn’t premiere until this coming Monday, but you can check out the first episode in its entirety below. I haven’t had an opportunity to watch yet, but the show looks great, and a duo like Harmon and Roiland is very promising.

Watch the first episode below, and let us know what you think!

Briefly: Seven new stills for Transformers: Age of Extinction have made their way online. The images don’t feature a lot of robots, but do feature a lot of good-looking people being good-looking.

Are you looking forward to the film? I haven’t see a Transformers movie since the original (no, not the good original, the live-action one), and as such I can’t say I’m looking forward to this one. In any case, take a look at the stills below, and let us know what you think! Transformers: Age of Extinction hits theatres on June 27th, 2014!

Briefly: Could Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare be coming to Sony’s PS4?

So far, the game has only been announced for Xbox 360 and Xbox One, but the Korean Game Rating Board just rated the game for Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PS4… interesting, huh?

The game looks beyond awesome, and seeing as I don’t currently (read: currently) own an Xbox One, I certainly hope it’s coming to PS4 too. PopCap usually puts their titles only every platform imaginable, so I could definitely see this one being true. In any case, the game hits Xbox 360 and Xbox One on February 18th!

Are you excited for the game? Or do you think Plants Vs. Zombies should simply continue with its tower-defense roots? Sound out below!

Briefly: It was just last month that Universal set the release date for Duncan Jones’ Warcraft… and now they’re changing it.

Instead of duking it out with the likely-undefeatable Star Wars: Episode VII, the film has been pushed to a much safer date: March 11, 2016.

A plethora of other Universal / Legendary films have also received date changes (or reveals), including Seventh Son (now Feb. 6, 2015), the Michael Mann / Chris Hemsworth cyber-terrorist film will release on January 16th, 2015, while The Mummy reboot will drop on April 22nd, 2016.

Are you sad to hear of Warcraft‘s date change? Or do you think it’s better off in 2016? Sound out below!

Briefly: TWO Jean Claude Van Damme trailers in one week? What kind of heaven are we in?

Earlier this week we saw the first trailer for Welcome to the Jungle, the comedy that features the actor in a hilarious-looking survivalist role. Now it’s time for Enemies Closer. You saw the first poster for this one last week, and now (as mentioned above), it’s trailer time:

The movie also stars Tom Everett Scott and our pal Orlando Jones, and hits theatres (and VOD) on January 24th. Are you looking forward to this one? It looks like a lot of fun, right?

After a major shipment of drugs goes missing on the US-Canadian border, forest ranger and former Navy SEAL Henry is plunged into survival mode when the drug cartel forces him to help retrieve the downed package. Trapped in the wilderness with no communication to the outside world, Henry finds himself face to face with Clay, a man with a personal vendetta against Henry who has returned for retribution. Now, the two mortal enemies must make a choice: put aside their past and work together, or die alone at the hands of the drug runners, a ruthless gang who will stop at nothing to retrieve their lost cargo.

Briefly: ShowBizCafe just published an incredible proof-of-concept trailer for a film called Zorro Reborn. It was meant to be a sci-fi reboot of the franchise, starring Gael García Bernal as Zorro, and with The Raven helmer Ricardo de Montreuil attached to direct.

The trailer itself is better than half the films that I’ve seen this year, so how Zorro Reborn hasn’t been made yet I have no clue. According to ShowBizCafe, the film “has a meteorite crashing into Earth in the future that destroys much of California and Mexico leaving it as a desert. After the dust settles, that same meteorite is discovered to be a supreme source of energy, which a new hostile corporation assumes. People begin flocking to New San Diego for work only to find out they’re now being oppressed. It is then that Alejandro Fox, a descendant of Don Diego de la Vega, the original Zorro, emerges as the hero that will answer the people’s cry for justice.”

Hopefully, if enough people check it out and show a firm interest in the film, there’s still a chance it could happen. Take a look at the trailer below, and let us know just how cool it is!

Here’s some concept art from the project:

Briefly: Mega Ran is BACK.

Mega Ran just launched his latest music video, titled ‘Best Friends’. Shot at the 7th and final Nerdapalooza Music Festival last month in Orlando, the video contains special appearances by some of the world’s most talented nerds: WWE’s Xavier Woods (who can get down on some DDR) MC Frontalot, MC Lars, Sammus, Shubzilla, Richie Branson, Doug Funnie, K-Murdock, YT Cracker, and many more.

The song will appear on Mega Ran and Mister Wilson’s album “Blur Bomber,” which is all about Sonic and Mega Man’s crossover comic “When Worlds Collide,” releasing DECEMBER 10, 2013 on bandcamp, Spotify and more.

We saw Mega Ran live in San Diego this past Summer (after interviewing him earlier in the year), and I certainly hope that I have the opportunity to do so again. He was freaking awesome. If you haven’t experience his work, be sure to check out his official website. You can thank us later.

Watch the ‘Best Friends’ music video below, and be sure to let us know what you think!

Briefly: This is amazing news. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is SO huge, I didn’t expect to see it on mobile phones for some time! How long until you’re playing Grand Theft Auto IV on your iPad?

Rockstar Games has announced that the revered Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is going mobile next month. The game will be launching on select iOS and Android devices sometime in December. How exciting is that? You’ll soon be able to traverse San Andreas while you poop!

Here’s what Rockstar said about the announcement:

Before GTAV took us to the sun-bleached sidewalks and humming concrete freeways of present-day Los Santos and beyond, there was Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the biggest GTA of the PS2 era. Now, head back to the early 90s with CJ and the Grove Street Families when Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas comes to mobile devices next month.

Encompassing Los Santos, San Fierro, Las Venturas and everything in between, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has been upgraded for its mobile release. Newly remastered graphics including dynamic and detailed shadows, greater draw distance, an enriched color palette, plus enhanced character and car models make this the best-looking version of San Andreas yet.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas also features brand new touch controls including contextual control options to display buttons only when you need them and three different control schemes for driving and maneuvering, as well as a reworked checkpoint system for easier progression. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for mobile also comes equipped with full controller support, including Made for iOS controller capability on iOS7. It will be available for select iOS, Android, Amazon Kindle and Windows Mobile devices. Stay tuned for more details in the weeks ahead.

really like that the iOS version includes controller support. That’s a new feature for iOS 7, which is tailor-made with large games like this in mind. Rockstar is always great about supporting the newest features on mobile (Vice City was one of the first iOS titles with iCloud support), so it’s great to see them continue that trend here.

We’ll be sure to share more information on this one as soon as it’s released! In the meantime, let us know what your favourite San Andreas memory is, and if you’ll be experiencing the title again on your smartphone!

Briefly: Doctor Who‘s upcoming Christmas special (and Matt Smith’s final appearance as the doctor) just got its official title. The episode is called The Time of the Doctor, and here’s its official synopsis:

Orbiting a quiet backwater planet, the massed forces of the universe’s deadliest species gather, drawn to a mysterious message that echoes out to the stars. And amongst them – the Doctor. Rescuing Clara from a family Christmas dinner, the Time Lord and his best friend must learn what this enigmatic signal means for his own fate and that of the universe.

BBC has also revealed the key art and first teaser for the special, which you can also see below. Again, I’ve never actually seen an episode of the show, so I don’t understand exactly what I’m looking at, but in any case it appears that fans have a great Christmas ahead of them.

Briefly: Here’s the first trailer for Welcome to the Jungle, starring our main man Jean-Claude Van Damme it what looks to be an absolutely hilarious role.

I have to imagine that Welcome to the Jungle‘s distributor is beyond excited for the film’s release now that JCVD is all over the internet. Of course, we never stopped loving the man, but it’s never too late to start.

Take a look at the first trailer below, and let us know if you’re looking forward to it! Welcome to the Jungle hits theatres on February 7th!

http://youtu.be/kRzSImxqQtA

Legendary action star Jean-Claude Van Damme takes on his first comedic role and joins Adam Brody, Rob Huebel, Kristen Schaal, Megan Boone, and Dennis Haysbert in “Welcome to the Jungle”. This laugh-out-loud comedy follows a group of unsuspecting office workers who find themselves stranded on a desert island when a corporate retreat led by unhinged former Marine Storm Rothchild (VAN DAMME) goes horribly wrong. Now Chris (BRODY) and his co-workers must battle nature — and each other — to survive!

Briefly: The principal cast of From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series was revealed just a few weeks ago, and today, another big name joined that list.

That 70’s Show star Wilmer Valderrama has joined the project as enigmatic crime lord Carlos.

Valderrama joins the previously-announced D.J. Cotrona, who plays Seth Gecko, Zane Holtz as Richie Gecko; Jesse Garcia who plays Texas Ranger Freddie Gonzalez, a new character created for the series; Don Johnson who joins in a recurring role as Sheriff Earl McGraw; Robert Patrick as Jacob Fuller; Madison Davenport as Kate Fuller; Brandon Soo Hoo as Scott Fuller and Eiza González as Santánico.

It’s been years (and years) since I’ve seen From Dusk Till Dawn, so I don’t really remember much of it. The film does have a huge cult following however, so I’m sure that From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series will be a huge hit for the El Ray Network when it premieres in 2014.

Are you looking forward to the series? Sound out below, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated with further news!

UPDATE: Warner Bros. Interactive has officially announced Lego: The Hobbit for pretty much every console imaginable. Check out the press releae below.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games and The LEGO Group set off on a new journey to create LEGO® The Hobbit™
Join Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf the Grey, Thorin Oakenshield and company on their quest to the Dwarven Kingdom in the next LEGO videogame coming 2014

London, UK – November 25, 2013 – Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games and The LEGO Group today announced LEGO ® The Hobbit™, the latest addition to the popular LEGO videogame series that brings to life the enthralling and legendary stories from Oscar ®-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit Trilogy. The game will be available in spring 2014 for the Xbox One all-in-one games and entertainment system and Xbox 360 games and entertainment systems from Microsoft, PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment systems and PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system., the Wii U™ system from Nintendo, the Nintendo 3DS™ hand-held system, as well as Windows PC and Mac.

LEGO The Hobbit will be based on the first two films of The Hobbit Trilogy, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and the upcoming The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug, a production of New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures (MGM), opening worldwide beginning December 13, 2013. Following the storyline of the first two films, LEGO The Hobbit will take players on quests throughout Middle-earth, joining Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf the Grey, and Thorin Oakenshield and Company in their exciting adventures toward the Dwarven Kingdom of Erebor.

“We are thrilled to depict the characters and environments of Peter Jackson’s Middle-earth in LEGO form with the LEGO The Hobbit videogame,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games. “Our family-friendly take on these thrilling adventures will have kids and parents playing and laughing together as they build and explore in LEGO Middle-earth.”

Each has his own special – and quite hilarious – ability: For instance, Bombur can be used as a trampoline that enables his companions “belly-bounce” out of danger!

Players will visit key locations from the films, including Bag End, Bilbo’s Hobbit-hole in Hobbiton, trek through the treacherous High Pass over The Misty Mountains, and explore the depths of Goblin-town, Mirkwood and Rivendell. Along the way, players will solve countless puzzles, partake in Treasure Quests and battle with Orcs, Trolls and fouler things. They will also be able to mine for gems, discover loot from enemies, and craft powerful magical items or build immense new LEGO structures.

Briefly: Is there a Lego The Hobbit game incoming?

First of all, I sure as hell hope so; the Lego games are all fantastic (especially the just-released Lego Marvel Super Heroes), and a new title set in The Hobbit universe would be no different. Secondly, it looks bloody likely unless this leaked ad turns out to be fake.

Brickset member “sidersdd” posted the following photos, found on the back of the instructions of the 2014 The Hobbit sets.

We won’t know if it’s real until the sets officially release, but until then, bask in the leaked ad below, and let us know if you’re excited! We’ll be sure to let you know if this one goes official!

Briefly: Mario Party: Island Tour looks like an absolute blast.

Everyone’s busy playing Super Mario 3D WorldThe Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, or some sort of new console, but Mario Party: Island Tour still deserves your attention.

The game hit stores on November 22nd, and Nintendo has released a new trailer to celebrate the launch. I’ve had hours upon hours of fun with each and every Mario Party game that’s ever been released, and I expect that Island Tour will be no different. It also fully supports 3DS Download Play, meaning that you and your friends can all play even if only one of you actually bought the game.

Watch the awesome trailer below, and let us know if you’ll be picking it up!

Briefly: Atlus today announced that Person 5 will be launching on the PS3 in Japan in Winter 2014. No release date for a North American (or European) version was announced.

No gameplay from the newly-revealed RPG was shown, but a short teaser trailer states that “You are a slave. Want emancipation?”

A new 3DS Persona title was also revealed. This one’s called Persona Q: Shadows of the Labyrinth, and it looks very cool. Person Q hits Japan in June 2014, and again, a release was not announced for other territories.

I’ve actually never had the opportunity to play the Persona series, but have head nothing but good things about it for as long as I can remember. Fans, are you excited for the new titles? What do you hope to see in them? Sound out below!

Briefly: We here at Geekscape have never lost our love for Jean Claude Van Damme, and now that all of you love him again too (after that epic, epic commercial), here’s the first one-sheet for his latest movie, Enemies Closer.

Take a look at the poster below, watch that amazing commercial again, and let us know if you’ll be watching this one!

Enemies Closer starring Jean Claude Van Damme

Brielfy: Just last week, Sony made the surprise announcement that they had sold over one million PS4 units on the console’s launch day.

Now, it’s Microsoft’s turn. Here’s the news straight from the press release.

Following a worldwide celebration, Xbox One launched in 13 markets yesterday to great fanfare. The team is excited to confirm the launch of Xbox One was the biggest launch in Xbox history, with more than one million consoles sold through worldwide in less than 24 hours – surpassing day one Xbox 360 sales and setting a new record for Microsoft.

Xbox One is now sold out at most retailers. We are working to replenish stock as fast as possible to meet the unprecedented demand from our customers.

“We are humbled and grateful for the excitement of Xbox fans around the world,” said Yusuf Mehdi, Corporate Vice President of Marketing and Strategy, Xbox. “Seeing thousands of excited fans lined up to get their Xbox One and their love for gaming was truly a special moment for everyone on the Xbox team. We are working hard to create more Xbox One consoles and look forward to fulfilling holiday gift wishes this season.”

Regardless of whether you are (or a set to become) a PS4, Xbox One, or Wii U owner, Boogie2988 said it best: modern gaming is miraculous.

Briefly: I’m not sure if this is good news or bad news, since I still haven’t seen the film, but Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland is getting a sequel.

The film has been dated for May 27th, 2016. Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska are set to return as the Mad Hatter and Alice respectively, though The Muppets director James Bobin has been tapped to helm the sequel (replacing Tim Burton).

Briefly: The PS4 and Playstation Vita are a match made in heaven.

Seriously, I’ve already used Remote Play substantially more than I thought I would (though I’m still having trouble making it work on another network). I played through Contrast almost exclusively using Remote Play as the first Bioshock was being experienced on the television, and I didn’t feel impeded by it whatsoever.

The biggest success of Remote Play? The fact that I touched my Vita, which is something that I haven’t done in nearly a year.

If you’re in the UK, it appears that you’ll actually be able to pick up a bundle that includes both a PS4 and a PS Vita. No price or release date has been set, as the bundle hasn’t been officially announced, but a photo of the bundle has appeared in the latest issue of MCV.

We’ll be sure to let you know wham the release date is set, and if the bundle will be coming to other regions! Would you pick this one up, or is Remote Play not a good enough reason to own a Vita (though I do hear that Tearaway should be a system seller)?

Briefly: Telltale Games is already working on some fantastic games based on properties like Fables and The Walking Dead, but could George R.R. Martin’s Game of Thrones soon be added to the mix?

IGN has learned from multiple sources that the developer is indeed working on a Game of Thrones adventure title.

Of course, nothing is official at this point, and Telltale was clearly not ready to share, stating that “We get these sorts of rumors about what we could be working on next cropping up all the time. Officially we have no comment.”

No comment doesn’t mean no, right?

Briefly: Ready to buy a Wii U?

Hopefully you’ve already picked up one of Nintendo’s struggling home console (there are a lot of great games for it at this point, and even the system’s poor marketing can’t hide that), but if not, this launch trailer for Super Mario 3D World will definitely make you want to.

The game is receiving nothing but praise from pretty much the entire internet, and I’m sure you’ll hear thoughts from our own team soon (who crashed the Xbox One launch to pick up the game). Until then, check out the launch trailer below, go pick up a Wii U, and share your thoughts below!

Briefly: There may be three The Amazing Spider-Man films currently in the works, but that’s not all that Sony has planned for the franchise.

During a presentation to investors earlier this week, Sony Pictures Entertainment Co-Chairman Amy Pascal stated that “We are going to access Marvel’s full world of Spider-Man characters, so be on the lookout for new heroes and villains.”

Deadline reports that Sony Pictures Entertainment chief Michael Lynton later added “We do very much have the ambition about creating a bigger universe around Spider-Man. There are a number of scripts in the works.”

The Spider-Man franchise is obviously a hugely popular one (so far grossing over 3-billion dollars worldwide), but did anyone else already feel as though Sony was getting a little sequel happy when they announced three new films at once? Now there are spinoffs in the works too? Does this mean we’ll be seeing a franchise-related film every six-months sometime in the next few years?

If all the films were high enough quality, then I’d be all for it. The Amazing Spider-Man was definitely a disappointment however, so I’m not really sure how to feel about this development.

Are you looking forward to more films in the franchise? What heroes or villains would you like to see receive spinoffs? Sound out below!

Briefly: Dreamworks has just debuted the first teaser poster for next year’s How to Train Your Dragon 2, the sequel to what just may be the best Dreamworks movie of all time.

It’s phenomenal, and if you haven’t seen it, I implore you to do so immediately!

The film hits theatres on June 13th, 2014, and stars Jay Baruchel, America Ferrara, Gerard Butler, Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, T.J. Miller, Craig Ferguson, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. Director Dean Debiois also returns for the sequel.

Briefly: Remember that excellent remake of Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse that released for PS3 and Xbox 360 back in September?

Well, now you can play it on the go!

Seemingly out of nowhere, the game has appeared on the iOS App Store.

The universal app costs a cool (and well worth it) $9.99, and is optimized for the iPad 2 and up. Here’s the game’s description, straight from the app store listing:

Mickey Mouse returns to star in Castle of Illusion, a fantastical reimagining of the Sega Genesis classic.
