Briefly: The next Destiny expansion has been leaked.

The leak comes via a promotional poster that made its way online. The expansion will be titled Rise of Iron, and according to Kotaku, the DLC will feature a new raid (which will likely be Fallen themed), and will be larger than both of the game’s first year expansions.

Little else is known about Rise of Iron at this point, but we’ll be sure to share as soon as we know more!

Briefly: This is absolutely incredible.

Yeah, we’re all really excited for Preacher to debut this weekend. The adaptation of the Vertigo title looks spot-on, and every frame, teaser, and article that I’ve read about the series has made me absolutely ecstatic to finally check out the pilot.

Today, a new trailer for the series hit the web. This one’s a little bit different, however, as it stars Seth Rogen (one of the men who helped bring the adaptation to life) in every role.

Yep. It’s ridiculous and incredible, and Preacher debuts this Sunday night, May 22nd!

Based on the twisted and popular ‘90s comic book franchise of the same name, “Preacher,” created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, is the story of Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper) a conflicted Preacher in a small Texas town who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that allows him to develop a highly unconventional power. Jesse, his ex-girlfriend, Tulip (Ruth Negga), and an Irish vampire named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) embark on a journey to, literally, find God. The Sony Pictures Television and AMC Studios co-production was developed for television by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg (“This Is the End,” “Superbad,” “Neighbors”) and showrunner Sam Catlin (“Breaking Bad”).

Briefly: I know a lot of folks who somehow missed out on the first couple of games in the Arkham series, simply due to not having a new-enough console (or a computer powerful enough) to run them.

Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City remain two of the very best titles in superhero video games, and are some of the very best games of the last generation.

Soon, those who missed out on the first two titles in the celebrated series, and those who are simply looking for an excuse to play them again will get their chance, as Warner Bros. Interactive has finally announced the long-rumoured Batman: Return to Arkham, which features Arkham Asylum and Arkham City remastered using Unreal 4.

Both games are their ‘Game of the Year Edition’ versions, featuring all of the extras and DLC released for each title. Along with the engine update, models, environments, and lighting have all been upgraded, so these already very pretty games should look better than ever.

You can take a look at the trailer for Return to Arkham below, and be sure to let us know what you think! Return to Arkham hits PS4 and Xbox One on July 29th for a cool $49.99.

Briefly: Can you even believe this is happening?

I was a big fan of Prison Break through its original run, and as such, I don’t really remember what happened to Michael Scofield and co., simply because it was so damned long ago.

In any case, the first trailer for the upcoming, new season of the series has just hit the web, and it somehow looks both nostalgic and fresh all at the same time.

In the thrilling new event series Prison Break, original series stars Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Sarah Wayne Callies, Amaury Nolasco, Robert Knepper, Rockmond Dunbar and Paul Adelstein are reunited for an all-new adventure spanning the globe and featuring the signature thrills and cliffhangers that were hallmarks of the original series when it aired on FOX from 2005-2009.

The original action drama centered on MICHAEL SCOFIELD (Miller, “The Loft”), a young man determined to save his convicted brother, LINCOLN BURROWS (Purcell, “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow”), from death row by hatching an elaborate plan to escape from prison. In the all-new event series, filmed on location in Morocco, clues surface that suggest a previously thought-to-be-dead Michael may be alive. Lincoln and SARA (Sarah Wayne Callies, “Colony,” “The Walking Dead”), Michael’s wife until he was assumed dead, reunite to engineer the series’ biggest escape ever, as three of Fox River State Penitentiary’s most notorious escapees, SUCRE (Nolasco, “Telenovela”), T-BAG (Knepper, “Heroes”) and C-NOTE (Dunbar, “The Mentalist”), are pulled back into the action.

Take a look at the trailer below, and be sure to let us know what you think!

Briefly: I love new TV.

Yeah, it’s sad that some of our favourite series like Agent Carter and The Muppets won’t be returning for another round of episodes, but every year I fall in love with a few brand new offerings, and this first trailer for NBC’s Timeless has me excited as hell (and not just because of my love for Abigail Spencer).

In Timeless, “a mysterious criminal steals a secret state-of-the-art time machine, intent on destroying America as we know it by changing the past. Our only hope is an unexpected team: a scientist, a soldier and a history professor, who must use the machine’s prototype to travel back in time to critical events. While they must make every effort not to affect the past themselves, they must also stay one step ahead of this dangerous fugitive. But can this handpicked team uncover the mystery behind it all and end his destruction before it’s too late?”

Yep, it sounds a little cheesy, but I’m always down for some time travel. The series also comes from Eric Kripke (“Revolution,” “Supernatural”), Shawn Ryan (“The Shield”) and the producers of “The Blacklist”.

I’m in.

You can take a look at the first trailer below, and be sure to let us know what you think! Timeless premieres on NBC this Fall!

Briefly: We’ve known that SyFy had been working on a Krypton series since late 2014, but I’d never imagine that we’d actually see the series come to fruition.

Well, we’re now one step closer to Krypton, as SyFy has just officially ordered a pilot of the series.

Set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet.  Krypton will follow Superman’s grandfather — whose House of El was ostracized and shamed — as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.

“Krypton is one of the most iconic stories in the comic book universe,” said Bill McGoldrick, Executive Vice President, Scripted Content, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment. “In the talented hands of David S. Goyer and the DC Entertainment/Warner Horizon Television team, this exciting Syfy project will take viewers back to Superman’s home to show how the timeless legend began.”

The pilot will be executive produced by David S. Goyer, while Sleepy Hollow‘s Damian Kindler will act as showrunner. Colm McCarthy (“She Who Brings Gifts,” “Peaky Blinders”) will direct and co-executive produce the pilot, and the pilot teleplay and story is written by David S. Goyer & Ian Goldberg (“Once Upon a Time,” “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”).

We’re excited. Are you excited?

We’ll be sure to share more Krypton news as soon as we hear it! Who would you like to see star in the series?

Briefly: The series premiere of AMC’s Preacher is fast approaching, and the network has just debuted a hilarious new sneak peek at the series which should definitely hype you up for the upcoming adaptation. It certainly takes on a more humorous tone than the other teasers we’ve been seeing lately, and is a welcome change from the all-out action that Preacher has been showing off at times.

The series is set to premiere mid-2016.

Briefly: Outcast is finally almost here.

Cinemax has just debuted a new poster and teaser for the anticipated series, this time around showing a lot more creepy, creepy footage.

Kyle Barnes has been plagued by demonic possession all his life. Now, with the help of the Reverend Anderson, a preacher who has personal demons of his own, the young man embarks on a journey to find answers and regain the normal life he lost. But what Kyle discovers could change his fate — and the fate of the world — forever.

Based on the Skybound/Image comic title by creator Robert Kirkman (“The Walking Dead”) and artist Paul Azaceta, Patrick Fugit (“Gone Girl”) stars as Barnes, a man searching for answers, and redemption, who sequesters himself from those he loves for fear of causing greater hurt.

Philip Glenister (“Life on Mars”) stars as Reverend Anderson, a West Virginia evangelist who believes he is a soldier in God’s holy war against the forces of evil on Earth. An inveterate drinker and gambler, he doesn’t believe God intends people to sweat the small stuff.

Gabriel Bateman (“Stalker”) stars as Joshua Austin, an eight-year-old who lives across town from Kyle. To his family’s dismay, he appears to be in the clutches of demonic possession, but there’s something very different about this possession and its connection to Kyle Barnes.

Other cast members include: Wrenn Schmidt (HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire”) as Kyle’s adopted sister, Megan Holter, a child psychologist who makes it her mission to fix the people around her; Reg E. Cathey (HBO’s “The Wire”) as Rome’s Chief of Police, Chief Giles, who has seen enough to know there’s some truth to his friend Rev. Anderson’s assertions about demons; Kate Lyn Sheil (“House of Cards”) as Kyle’s former wife, Allison Barnes, who has lingering doubts about what happened in their marriage; Julia Crockett (“Law & Order: Criminal Intent”) as Kyle’s mother, Sarah Barnes, whose apparent mental illness tainted his childhood; David Denman (“13 Hours”) as Megan’s husband, Mark Holter, a by-the-book small town cop whose temper can get him in trouble; and Brent Spiner (“Star Trek: The Next Generation”) as Sidney, whose dapper appearance and smiling demeanor hide malevolence.

You can take a look at the poster and trailer below, and be sure to let us know if you’re excited! Outcast hits Cinemax on June 3rd!

Briefly: We’re now barely a month away from the heavily anticipated release of Duncan Jones’ Warcraft, and today Legendary has debuted another (short) teaser for the film, this time featuring the assassin Garona.

In Warcraft, the peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home.

It’s an action-packed teaser that should certainly drive excitement for the film! Take a look at the video below, and be sure to let us know what you think! Warcraft hits theatres on June 10th!

Briefly: What a great way to celebrate the holiday.

Everyone loves Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, and our very own Shane O’Hare is the one person that liked The Force Unleashed II, and Microsoft today revealed that both titles are now backwards compatible with Xbox One!

The first title was an absolute blast, and I cannot wait to one day have an opportunity to play it again. If you missed the games the first time around (all those years ago), you’ll want to jump on them right away, as they typically cost $19.99 a piece, and are currently just $4.99 each.

Excited? How did you spend your Star Wars day? Sound out below!

Briefly: Finally!

just finished the first season of FOX’s Wayward Pines last week (and loved every second of it), and I’ve been eagerly awaiting news of the upcoming second season ever since.

Last week we saw the first teaser poster for the upcoming episodes, and today FOX has debuted an awesome first teaser trailer. Yep, it’s full of mystery and doesn’t explain much of anything, but it shows off new and returning cast, and reminds us that this season is set to be all about some new residents.

The 10-episode psychological thriller picks up after the shocking events of the season 1 finale, with the residents of Wayward Pines battling against the iron-fisted rule of the First Generation. Dr. Theo Yedlin (Jason Patric) — a new resident of Wayward Pines — awakens from suspended animation and finds himself in the middle of this rebellion, as he tries to understand what Wayward Pines really is and help preserve the endangered human race. CJ Mitchum (Djimon Hounsou), an original resident of Wayward Pines and a historian for the town with extensive knowledge of its complex origins, is the only one who can provide a unique bridge between the current world of Wayward Pines and the previous world that humans inhabited. Megan Fisher (Hope Davis), is in charge of the scientific research being conducted on the Abbies, and remains deeply involved in the development of the hearts and minds of the future of humanity — Wayward Pines’ “First Generation”.

Take a look at the teaser below, and be sure to let us know what you think! Wayward Pines returns on May 25th!

I’ve never been overly interested in drone products; their high cost and limited options always had me thinking that a drone would be something I’d play with once or twice before allowing it to gather dust in storage somewhere.

That sad, WowWee’s (yep, the same WowWee that created Robosapien) newly launched IndieGogo campaign for the LUMI Gaming Drone has definitely piqued my attention.

The LUMI is a small (and indoor friendly) drone that does so freaking much. From stunts (like one-touch barrel rolls and more) to obstacle avoidance, built in games (more on that below), and even the ability to follow the user, it’s insane that the LUMI is able to offer so many features in such a well priced package.

Don’t take it from me though, take a look at the LUMI campaign video below to see the LUMI take flight:

I’m actually really interested in the gaming aspects of LUMI. WowWee detailed a single and multiplayer title called ‘Lumi To The Beat’, and it sounds like a lot of fun:

LUMI TO THE BEAT is a game of rhythm and reflexes. Lumi’s luminescent surface will flash various colors (red, blue, yellow, green) while users try to press the corresponding light on their mobile device Lumi app as quickly as possible.

If you miss or tap the wrong color, Lumi will drop in altitude. Make too many mistakes and it’s game over!

The longer you keep pace with the beat while Lumi is airborne, the higher your score. As you progress, Lumi’s LEDs will flash faster and faster, making it more difficult to reach new levels where you’ll unlock new tricks and entirely new aerial maneuvers.

The LUMI campaign has just launched, and has already hit $2500 of its $25000 goal. With a month to go, it seems highly likely that LUMI will hit its goal.

There are currently Early-Bird LUMI’s available for a reduced price of $59, so you may want to jump on this one fast. Again, you can head here to back LUMI, and be sure to let us know what you think when you get your drone!

Briefly: I still haven’t quite finished the first season of MTV’s Scream series, but I’m damned excited that we’re about to see a second season.

MTV has just debuted the official trailer for the upcoming episodes, which I’m definitely avoiding for spoiler purposes.

This season “picks up with Emma’s (Willa Fitzgerald) return to Lakewood after several months at a retreat, where she tried to recover from the horrors of last season. Everyone is walking on eggshells around her, questioning whether she has truly gotten over the Killer’s crimes. Meanwhile, Audrey (Bex Taylor-Klaus) is hiding her connection to the Killer, but is getting harassed by someone who knows the truth.

Brooke (Carlson Young) and Jake (Tom Maden) are also keeping secrets—they are hiding a budding romance from Mayor Maddox (Bryan Batt). And, Noah (John Karna) is getting closer and closer to the truth about the season 1 murders. Lakewood’s murderous past, both recent and distant, are once again brought to focus – with this Killer’s psychotic mind-game intent on bringing Lakewood’s heroes down in a storm of betrayal and bloodshed.”

In any case, you can take a look at the trailer below, and be sure to let us know what you hope to see in Scream‘s second season!

Briefly: We published our review for the film a few days back, but with just a few days to go until Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War hits theatres, the Marvel marketing machine is out in full force.

A new clip for the film has just hit the web, via Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany’s visit to Good Morning America. The clip has The Vision and Scarlett Witch talking all about what they don’t know about the Mind stone.

You can take a look at the clip below (along with the full Good Morning America segment), and be sure to let us know what you’re most excited to see in the film!

http://youtu.be/cKUoeK_5rzY

“Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.

Briefly: Following the awesome look at the film from the Super Bowl back in February (which gave us our fantastic first look at Krang and more), and that last fantastic trailer, Paramount has just debuted the very last trailer for the anticipated Summer flick.

While the first film had its (long list of) issues, overall I actually enjoyed the film as a whole. In any case, essentially everything that we’ve seen thus far from Out of the Shadows looks so much better than anything that we saw in the first film.

Take a look at the trailer below, and be sure to let us know what you think! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows hits theatres on June 3rd!

Briefly: The game still hasn’t been officially revealed, but a leaked advertisement from a Canadian retailer (you can tell because the game is so expensive) has revealed further details about the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remastered.

I’m actually really excited for this title. Call of Duty 4 was the only Call of Duty game that I really, really got into. Nearly every night for months after release, I would jump onto PSN and clan up with a myriad of my real world pals. I’ve never experienced better teamwork in an online title before, and because of this we freaking cleaned house. I can still recall the screaming on the microphone as my dead team members watched me hit a 32 kill streak in a match. Ah, the memories.

In any case, Modern Warfare Remastered will include the Modern Warfare campaign along with 10 multiplayer maps. The included maps haven’t been detailed at this point, but I’m sure we’ll know more as soon as the official reveal comes along (and I’m sure we’ll get more maps via DLC).

Are you excited to play Call of Duty 4 all over again? What do you hope to see from Infinite Warfare? Be sure to sound out below!

Briefly: The series premiere of AMC’s Preacher is fast approaching, and the network has just debuted a new, bad-ass sneak peek at the series which should really hype you up for the upcoming adaptation. This may just be the coolest teaser for the show yet, and every preview has been pretty stellar so far.

The Sony Pictures Television and AMC Studios co-production was developed for television by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg (“This Is the End,” “Superbad,” “Neighbors”) and showrunner Sam Catlin (“Breaking Bad”). The series is set to premiere mid-2016.

Take a look at the video here, and be sure to let us know if you’re excited! Preacher hits AMC on May 22nd!

Briefly: Dang.

THR has just learned that Seth Grahame-Smith, author of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter has stepped down as director of the 2018 Ezra Miller-starring The Flash film.

Seth parted ways with the project due to “creative differences,”… and I’m definitely interested in hearing some sort of elaboration on that at some point in time.

Grahame-Smith also wrote the script for the film (based on a treatment from The Lego Movie duo Chris Miller and Phil Lord), and while the film is now currently without a director, we’ll be sure to let you know when WB announces just who will take the project over.

The Flash is set to hit theatres on March 16th, 2018. Who would you like to see in the director’s chair? Be sure to sound out below!

TheFlash

Briefly: Back in January when I reviewed Oxenfree, I noted that the title was far and away the first standout title of 2016.

Now, a few months have passed, the game is still one that I talk about and think about regularly, and Night School Studio has just announced that in May, another platform will have an opportunity to experience this gem.

Yep, Oxenfree is making its way to PS4 on May 31st.

It’s not just a plain old port either. The PS4 version of Oxenfree is being labelled as a ‘Director’s Cut’, and features a slew of additions that will also make it to the Xbox One and Steam versions of the game later this May.

The most exciting addition has to be the New Game + mode, which is “a surreal continuation of the story of Alex and her friends on a decommissioned military island and offers new locations and additional endings that serve as an extension of the story. Upon completing the story once, players are met at the start of a new game with fresh dialogue choices and a creeping sense of deja vu. With this feature, players will be able to further change the supernatural events of Edwards Island and the spectres that inhabit it.”

The PS4 version of the title also sounds just a little more immersive, as Night School Studio notes that the “PS4 version of OXENFREE will use the DualShock®4 controller like the supernaturally charged radio in the game, syncing color glow changes on the light bar and playing broadcasts through the controller’s speaker.”

Oxenfree is a title that I’d implore you to give a shot if you haven’t already, and that now goes for you too, PS4 owners. Take a look at the PS4 announcement trailer below, and let us know what you think!

Oxenfree is a supernatural thriller about a group of friends who unwittingly open a ghostly rift. Play as Alex, a bright, rebellious teenager who brings her new stepbrother Jonas to an overnight party on an old military island. The night takes a terrifying turn when you unwittingly open a ghostly gate spawned from the island’s cryptic past. How you deal with these events, your peers, and the ominous creatures you’ve unleashed is up to you.

Briefly: We’re finally just a few weeks away from the anticipated (and special feature-filled) Blu-Ray release of Deadpool, and Fox has just debuted a fantastic new featurette detailing just how much work went into crafting the titular character’s impressive mask.

Seriously, you’d never believe how freaking complicated this thing is.

Watch the featurette below, and be sure to let us know if you plan to pick up Deadpool on May 10th.

Crazy, right?

Briefly: Anyone who has read 1988’s Batman: The Killing Joke has been eagerly anticipating this sure-to-be-a-gem’s release, and it’s damned clear after this first trailer that this could be one of the very best animated features that DC has ever developed.

A lot of fans were also worried that the company wouldn’t take the source material seriously enough, leading to an adaptation that fell flat or felt inauthentic.

It’s pretty clear from this first trailer (well, and the R rating) that DC is doing its very, very best with The Killing Joke, and every single frame seen and word spoken in the below video is incredibly authentic to the original comic book.

Of course, we’ve got Kevin Conroy returning as Batman, and Mark Hamill as The Joker. It couldn’t get better than this.

Watch the trailer below, and let us know if you’re looking forward to the adaptation. Batman: The Killing Joke is set for release this Summer, and will premiere during July’s San Diego Comic Con!

Briefly: So… we still don’t know much of anything about the darned thing, but at least we know when we can buy it (shut up and take my money).

Late last night (because Nintendo is Japanese, duh), the big N held its quarterly earnings call, and used that call to announce a couple of interesting tidbits about the next Nintendo console.

It won’t be launching this year as most seem to have been anticipating, but Nintendo revealed that the platform codenamed NX will launch globally in March of 2017. They’ve also reiterated that NX is “a brand-new concept,” but did not elaborate on what that concept was (could it be the handheld/home console hybrid that many have been speculating?).

Interestingly enough, apparently we won’t be seeing the NX at this year’s E3. The company has announced that the new Legend of Zelda title will be Nintendo’s E3 focus this year, and while Nintendo usually offers a plethora of announcements and playable titles at the expo, The Legend of Zelda will be the only playable title that Nintendo offers this year.

Just like The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, when the as-yet untitled Zelda title launches in 2017, it’ll hit both the Wii U and NX, so regardless of whether or not you plan to pick up an NX at launch, you won’t be left in the dust when it comes to that beautiful new Zelda game.

How do you feel about the NX launch window? Are you planning to pick one up, or are you waiting to see exactly what Nintendo has to announce? Be sure to sound out below!

Briefly: Oh man, this looks freaking scary.

I was a huge fan out the first Outlast, as the short, beautiful title took a neat spin on the survival horror genre, which at the time seemed to be becoming far, far too combat heavy.

Outlast was different, and it was one of the first titles in a long time that made you truly afraid to look in the darkness (and with the limited use of batteries for your camera’s night vision, you were looking in the darkness a lot).

Now, developer Red Barrels has debuted a new gameplay video for Outlast II, which depicts a terrifying chase through the scariest-looking cornfield ever imagined.

Take a look, and be sure to let us know what you think. Outlast II is set to release this Fall.

https://youtu.be/_hp1Qv1opXo

Seriously, I love horror games… this looks like it may be a little too much for me.

No conflict is ever black and white. But once the dust has settled, the victors get to decide who was right and who was wrong. Who is good and who is evil. Human nature pushes us to extremes of violence and depravity, which we then justify by divine inspiration and a promise of paradise to come. Horror rises from desperation and blind faith. OUTLAST 2 will test your faith, pushing players to a place where going mad is the only sane thing to do.

Briefly: It’s finally almost here.

On May 10th, the long, long, often made longer wait for the conclusion to Nathan Drake’s story will finally be over, and we’ll all be able to see if Naughty Dog will be able to keep their amazing game streak going.

Today, the company released a short (yet sweet) final gameplay trailer for the game, reminding us just how intense the Uncharted titles can be, and also just how freaking beautiful this game looks.

Take a look at the trailer below, and let us know what you’ll be doing on May 10th!

Briefly: Yesterday evening, my fiancé and I decided to drive around the dilapidated grounds of Riverview Hospital in Coquitlam, BC.

Many of the buildings in the area look as though they are straight out of a horror film, and interestingly enough, most of the less deathly structures are now used as sets in Vancouver’s booming film and television industry.

After driving by both Wayward Pines Academy and Wayward Pines Hospital, last night we decided to give the series a shot, and five episodes later it’s pretty clear that we’ve instantly fallen in love with it.

Like what the hell is happening in this town!?

Today, Fox debuted a new poster for the upcoming second season, which teases the feral creatures that I’ve only just met (no spoilers please). Take a look at the poster below, and be sure to let us know if you’ll be watching when Wayward Pines returns on May 25th!

Pines

Starring Jason Patric (“Rush,” “Narc”), two-time Academy Award nominee Djimon Hounsou (“Blood Diamond,” “In America”) and Emmy Award and Golden Globe nominee Hope Davis (“American Crime,” “The Newsroom”), the 10-episode, second season will pick up after the shocking events of Season One, with the residents of Wayward Pines battling against the iron-fisted rule of the First Generation. Dr. THEO YEDLIN (Patric) – a new resident of Wayward Pines – awakens from suspended animation and finds himself in the middle of this rebellion, as he tries to understand what Wayward Pines really is and help preserve the endangered human race.

Also joining the second season are cast members Tom Stevens (“Cedar Cove”), returning from Season One as JASON HIGGINS, a member of the First Generation and Pilcher’s young acolyte; Nimrat Kaur (“Homeland”) as REBECCA, who has her own secrets she keeps from Theo, her husband; Josh Helman (“Mad Max: Fury Road,” “X-Men: Days of Future Past”) as XANDER, a resident working to undermine Wayward Pines from within; and Kacey Rohl (“Hannibal”) as KERRY, one of Jason’s lieutenants in the civil war going on in Wayward Pines.

Additionally, several Season One cast members will appear in Season Two, including Terrence Howard (SHERIFF ARNOLD POPE), Carla Gugino (KATE HEWSON), Toby Jones (DR. JENKINS/DAVID PILCHER), Melissa Leo (NURSE PAM), Tim Griffin (ADAM HASSLER), Shannyn Sossamon (THERESA BURKE) and Charlie Tahan (BEN BURKE).

Briefly: We’re now less than two months away from the heavily anticipated release of Duncan Jones’ Warcraft, and today at PAX East the celebrated director debuted a bad-ass new poster for the film.

It’s a gorgeous image featuring the female Orc Draka, and she definitely doesn’t look like someone you’d want to mess with!

Take a look at the new poster below, and be sure to let us know what you think! Warcraft hits theatres on June 10th!

Briefly: I feel as though it was just yesterday that Telltale Games launched the first episode of its revered The Walking Dead: Michonne  miniseries, and already the tale will conclude next with with the release of the title’s third and final episode, “What We Deserve”.

In the episode, “feeling the weight of choices both recent and long ago, Michonne tries to protect an innocent family… but Norma and the vengeful Monroe crew are closing in. As reality shatters and the ghosts of the daughters she abandoned demand to be heard, your choices will determine who lives, who dies, and what redemption really means in a world gone to hell.”

As much as I don’t want Michonne to end, the sooner it does, the sooner Telltale can hopefully) spill the beans on the next chapter of The Walking Dead proper… I need to see what happens to my Clementine!

In any case, you can take a look at the trailer for “What We Deserve” below, and let us know what you hope to see in the episode! The Walking Dead: Michonne concludes on April 26th!

Briefly: Damn.

One of my most anticipated titles of 2016, EA’s Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, has just hit another delay.

The game was originally slated to launch on February 23rd, but was pushed back to May 24th back in October of last year.

EA took to the official Mirror’s Edge website to announce the new release date, which will be June 7th in North America, and June 9th in Europe. Here’s the official statement:

Hello everyone,

As you know, we’re about to open the gates to the city of Glass for participants of the Closed Beta. One of the key features of the Beta and the full game is Social Play, detailed in our latest developer diary.

Taking on Dashes designed by DICE, creating your own Time Trials, climbing the Leaderboards, and connecting with your Runner friends are some of the Social Play features we’re really excited about – and something we want to play flawlessly.

To support the Social Play features, we are using a brand new online technology. We also want to make sure we have the opportunity and time to address player feedback from the Closed Beta. That is why we will give ourselves a bit more time to perfect the game, with a new release date for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst of June 7th (NA) and June 9th (EU). We’re confident that these extra two weeks will make sure the game is as amazing as possible for you the players.

Thank you all for your continued support and excitement for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. The return of Faith is imminent.

Erik Odeldahl, Design Director

A thankfully shorter delay than the last time around, and I think the important thing to remember here is that we’re getting a Mirror’s Edge sequel. Who ever thought we’d see a Mirrors Edge sequel!?

Consolation prize? Watch the game’s first 18 minutes below, and be sure to let us know if you’re excited!

Briefly: This is some awesome news.

J.A. Bayona directed two of the most original, memorable, and underwatched films of their release years, 2007’s The Orphanage and 2012’s The Impossible (the star of which is our new Spider-Man).

Now, he’s about to make Universal Pictures a lot of money by directing the follow-up to Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World.

The announcement comes via Jurassic World producer Frank Marshall earlier today.

Bayona is currently working on the Liam Neeson / Sigourney Weaver flick A Monster Calls.

Jurassic World 2 just got a lot more exciting, didn’t it? The film hits theatres on June 22nd, 2018!
