Briefly: It’s almost, finally here.

Destiny‘s next, long awaited and highly anticipated expansion, Rise of Iron, is set to debut on Xbox One and PS4 on September 20th, and today at Gamescom, Activision debuted a new 8+ minute ViDoc detailing essentially everything new that’s coming to the game next month.

In the video you’ll see the new raid, new strike, all of the plentiful new customization options, and much more. If you’re still a fan of the game, or are looking to jump back into it, this video should get you sufficiently excited.

Take a look at the ViDoc below, and be sure to let us know if you’ll be jumping on Rise of Iron on September 20th!

Briefly: Mid last-month, a leaked Gamestop promotional image revealed the next expansion in store for players of Bungie’s Destiny.

Today, Bungie officially revealed the expansion, titled ‘Rise of Iron’. The new chapter lets players “follow in the footsteps of Lord Saladin in a brand new story that culminates in an epic Raid.”

Rise of Iron will include a new zone filled with new enemies, and even marks the return of the Gjallarhorn, which players have not shut up about since it was first released.

Note that Bungie has only revealed Rise of Iron for Xbox One and Playstation 4, so it looks like players still playing on previous-generation consoles may want to think about an upgrade.

Take a look at the Rise of Iron trailer below, and be sure to let us know if you plan to pick it up!

Briefly: The next Destiny expansion has been leaked.

The leak comes via a promotional poster that made its way online. The expansion will be titled Rise of Iron, and according to Kotaku, the DLC will feature a new raid (which will likely be Fallen themed), and will be larger than both of the game’s first year expansions.

Little else is known about Rise of Iron at this point, but we’ll be sure to share as soon as we know more!

Well Guardians, it’s finally here. Microtransactions have hit the Tower and Bungie is starting to count the dollars.

It was recently announced that Tess would be returning to the Tower and would be bringing with her access to the Everest Trading Company. What would this new company be offering? EMOTES OF COURSE!

The emotes can be purchased for Silver, a new ingame currency that can be obtained by giving Bungie some of your hard earned dollars. Here is the current pricing structure for Silver.

500 Silver – $5

1,100 Silver – $10

2,300 Silver – $20

Each player is given 400 Silver gratis right now, so you can get your hands on some of the emotes right away. The standard emotes are 200 Silver each but the two Legendary Emotes at 500 Silver. You’ll want to pony up for that extra hundo of Silver, because you can get your hands on The Carlton dance from Fresh Prince! Check out the video below for all the emotes.

If you’re an intrepid collector, you’ll have to fork over $38 to net yourself 4,200 Silver to get them all.

What do you think? Are these worth the price?
