Briefly: I know a lot of folks who somehow missed out on the first couple of games in the Arkham series, simply due to not having a new-enough console (or a computer powerful enough) to run them.

Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City remain two of the very best titles in superhero video games, and are some of the very best games of the last generation.

Soon, those who missed out on the first two titles in the celebrated series, and those who are simply looking for an excuse to play them again will get their chance, as Warner Bros. Interactive has finally announced the long-rumoured Batman: Return to Arkham, which features Arkham Asylum and Arkham City remastered using Unreal 4.

Both games are their ‘Game of the Year Edition’ versions, featuring all of the extras and DLC released for each title. Along with the engine update, models, environments, and lighting have all been upgraded, so these already very pretty games should look better than ever.

You can take a look at the trailer for Return to Arkham below, and be sure to let us know what you think! Return to Arkham hits PS4 and Xbox One on July 29th for a cool $49.99.

Briefly: People joke that the libraries of the PS4 and Xbox One are nothing but HD rereleases at this point, and amidst big name delay after big name delay, it’s really starting to feel like that’s true.

So shortly after what is arguably the PS4’s most anticipated title, Uncharted 4, was pushed back to 2016, Sony revealed that God of War III will hit its newest console this Summer.

The game looks pretty gorgeous in full 1080p, and is targeting 60FPS, but at this point I’m kinda sick of HD rereleases. Sony notes that “This action packed thrill ride of a game will take series newcomers and regulars alike on a retina-popping thrill ride filled to the absolute brim with 1080p gameplay, silky smooth combat, earth-shaking weapons, bosses you simply have to face to believe, and an all-new new photo mode so you can share those most tender of God of War moments, like stabbing a Minotaur in the frickin face, with your friends and loved ones.”

God of War III Remastered will hit the PS4 on July 14th. Take a look at a coupe of screenshots below, and let us know if you’re excited for this, or if you’d rather play some new games instead.

Do you love Final Fantasy? Will you happen to be in the Southern California area on March 15th? If so, that will be a day you DO NOT want to miss.

Square Enix will be holding a launch event for the upcoming Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remaster at Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, California. Copies of Limited Edition, Vita version AND the formerly online only Collectors Edition will be on hand for the lucky fans who get to attend. The better news? Attendees will get a chance to meet Yoshinori Kitase and Yusuke Naora, the Producer and Art Director of the game.

If you’re planning on going, make sure to get there early! The event runs from 2PM to 8PM, but Square Enix fans are ravenous, so you’ll want to make sure to plan accordingly. Oh, did I mention the first 200 games sold will be autographed while the first 300 will get an exclusive art print? Sleep is overrated anyway.

The actual gallery featuring art from the game will be on display through March 26th. For complete details, including the location, additional activities and future events, visit gallerynucleus.com, and be sure to check out the game’s launch trailer from earlier today.
