Briefly: It’s finally almost here.

On May 10th, the long, long, often made longer wait for the conclusion to Nathan Drake’s story will finally be over, and we’ll all be able to see if Naughty Dog will be able to keep their amazing game streak going.

Today, the company released a short (yet sweet) final gameplay trailer for the game, reminding us just how intense the Uncharted titles can be, and also just how freaking beautiful this game looks.

Take a look at the trailer below, and let us know what you’ll be doing on May 10th!

Briefly: Not again…

Based on last week’s gorgeous new trailer, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is coming together very nicely.

It’s just too bad that… yep, again, we’ll be waiting just a little longer to play it.

Uncharted 4 has been pushed once again, this time from its April 26th release date to May 10th.

Sony notes that this time around it has nothing to do with the game itself, but that “In an effort to meet the considerable worldwide demand, and to ensure that all gamers worldwide have the opportunity to play the game on day one, we have chosen to postpone the launch of the game by two weeks to allow for extra manufacturing time.”

They also say that they’re very sorry.

In any case, who’s excited to play Uncharted 4 one day?

Briefly: Just two. more. months.

Naughty Dog has just debuted a brand-new story trailer for April’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

It’s a fantastic look at the game, and Naughty Dog director Neil Druckmann even said that it’s the “best trailer in Naughty Dog history.”

That’s high praise.

The trailer offers a fantastic new look at a game that we cannot wait to get our dirty paws on, and shows off a lot of Uncharted 4 elements that we haven’t seen yet.

In the game, “Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter Nathan Drake is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.”

A Thief’s End (finally) hits PS4 on April 26th. Who’s excited?

Briefly: Unless the game gets another delay (which I believe is highly unlikely at this point), we’re now just a few months away from playing Naughty Dog’s highly anticipated Uncharted 4.

Well, if you were holding out on buying the console until the game came out, Sony just revealed a gorgeous, limited edition Uncharted 4 Playstation 4 console.

The bundle will cost you a cool $399.99 in the US ($499.99 in Canada), and includes the PS4 console in a Gray Blue color “featuring a silk-screened image of Nathan Drake, as well as a matching DualShock 4 and a copy of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End on Blu-ray. The limited edition PS4 also features the PlayStation logo, Uncharted logo, and the phrase “SIC PARVIS MAGNA” in gold. “SIC PARVIS MAGNA” is Latin for “Greatness from small beginnings” and is the same phrase engraved on Drake’s ring.”

Sounds like the perfect console for any Uncharted fan, and it’s clearly one of the best-looking limited PS4 console’s that I’ve seen to date.

The console will launch alongside Uncharted 4 on April 26th, and will be a limited edition, so you better keep your eyes and wallet open if you’d like to take this bundle home.

Planning to pick up the bundle? Be sure to let us know!

Briefly: Sigh.

Were you looking forward to playing Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End on March 18th (after accepting that you wouldn’t be playing it this holiday season, that is)?

Well, sorry to be the bearer of bad news (again), but that’s simply not happening.

The impressive looking title has just received another, thankfully shorter delay, and will not be making its previously announced March 18th release date.

The reveal came via Playstation’s official blog, where Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann stated:

This is our largest Uncharted, and the team has been working incredibly hard to meet the challenge of closing out the game’s development in a timely manner. However, as we started to approach our final deadlines and started wrapping up the game’s levels, we realised that several key sequences needed extra resources to bring them to the finish line.

After carefully considering all of our options, we decided to extend our schedule, making sure that we get a few more polish passes before submitting our gold master (the final disc for manufacturing).

Pushing the date is not an easy choice, and we wouldn’t do it if we didn’t feel in our hearts it’s the best course of action for the game. To you, our loyal fans, we hope you’ll accept our sincere apology. We know many of you have been waiting patiently for Nathan Drake’s final chapter, and now we humbly ask you to wait a bit longer.

These multiple delays seem to happen more often than not these days, but at least we’re bound to get an excellend title when Uncharted 4 finally does release. The game is now set for an April 26th release, and it better. freaking. make. it.

Briefly: That leaked Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End release date from a few weeks back?

Well, it was off. But it wasn’t off by much.

Sony today officially revealed just when we’ll be able to step back into Nathan Drake’s shoes, and it’s just six months away: March 18th, 2016.

Deluxe and collector’s editions of the game have also been revealed:

SpecialThe special edition will include cost $79.99 US ($99.99 CAD), and include:

-Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Blu-ray Disc
-Collectible Steelbook case designed by Alexander “That Kid Who Draws” Iaccarino
-48-page hardcover art book by Dark Horse and Naughty Dog
-Naughty Dog & Pirate Sigil sticker sheet
-Naughty Dog Points: A pack of in-game currency to unlock various multiplayer content

CollectorThe collector’s edition runs $119.99 US, and includes:

-A 12″ premium Nathan Drake statue by Gentle Giant
-Three multiplayer outfits: Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Heist Drake, and Desert Drake outfits
-Two custom weapon skins: Golden Weapon Skin and Desert Weapon Skin
-Henry Avery Sigil ball cap
-Madagascar Sidekick outfits

So just six months to think about which edition you’d like to buy. Are you looking forward to the March release? What do you hope to see in the fourth and likely not at all final game in the series?

Briefly: All of us were pretty bummed out back in March when Sony revealed that its highly anticipated exclusive Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was being pushed into 2016.

Naughty Dog’s been pretty quiet on that subject since that day, and though the E3 demo was beyond impressive, all we want to know is when we can play the damned thing.

Take it with a grain of salt, but the game’s released date may have been leaked by Amazon Germany.

A reddit user received an email from the company, which contained a hard release date of March 9th, 2016. This falls right in the window that Naughty Dog gave us, and while it could be an error on Amazon’s part, it could also legitimately be the date that we’re able to continue Nathan’s journey.

Are you looking forward to the game? What do you hope to see in it? Sound out below!

Looks like we ran the karma tap dry. With yesterdays GTA and Zoolander news, we were BOUND to get something bad. Looks like Nathan Drake won’t be returning as soon as we thought. Uncharted 4 has been pushed back to 2016!

In an open letter from the games directors, we’ve been told that the game’s original release schedule isn’t going to be met.

So we’ve made the difficult choice of pushing the game’s release date. Giving us a few extra months will make certain that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End not only meets the team’s high standards but the high standards that gamers have come to expect from a Naughty Dog title.

This is going to be my first Uncharted game, since I’ve only recently jumped into the Sony ecosystem. I am very glad that they’re going to take their time!
