Early last week a deleted scene was released online from The Avengers that revealed that Peggy Carter, played by actress Hayley Atwell, was indeed still alive in the present. Bleeding Cool recently approached Atwell at the premiere of her new film, The Sweeney. The site asked if she would be involved in the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier to which the actress replied:

“I can’t say yet because it hasn’t been officially released, and Marvel are very protective of their franchise.”

Which basically just translates into “Yes, I am coming back but I am not allowed to tell you guys yet.” While her involvement could just take place in flashbacks there is definitely a chance we could see a heavily emotional scene involving Steve Rogers visiting her in the present day. This would definitely add on to the “man out of time” theme that is meant to be portrayed in the upcoming sequel and maybe Steve will finally get that dance after all these years.

A very last-minute cast addition to Marvel Studios Iron Man 3 has been revealed. After having a picture snapped with the film’s cheif producer, it’s been revealed that Wang Xeuqi (Bodyguards And Assassins) will be the joining the cast of Shane Black’s third chapter in the Iron Man series.

Chinesefilms.cn reports that the 66 year old actor will play Chen Lu, the role originally set to be filled by Andy Lau, who was a scientist before becoming the villain known as Radioactive Man. Numerous times in the comics the character was employed by The Mandarin who will be making his live-action debut in this film. Lau had to drop the role wanting to spend time with his family. Not long ago it was rumored that Chen Lu would be appearing the post-credit scene for the movie that is meant to be a set up for Edgar Wright’s upcoming Ant-Man film. So, could this possibly be a set up for The Masters Of Evil to appear in the upcoming sequel to The Avengers? With Marvel I definitely wouldn’t rule out the possibility.

So, after seeing the green-band trailer for Seven Psychopaths I was already sold. Now we have a hilarious red-band Trailer for the upcoming dog-napping comedy directed by Martin McDonagh (In Bruges) and starring Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson and Christopher Walken. If this doesn’t sell you on this movie…I don’t know what will.

‘Seven Psychopaths’ follows a struggling screenwriter (Colin Farrell) who inadvertently becomes entangled in the Los Angeles criminal underworld after his oddball friends (Christopher Walken and Sam Rockwell) kidnap a gangster’s (Woody Harrelson) beloved Shih Tzu.

Seven Psychopaths will have a limited theatrical release on October 12th.

Well, it looks like earlier reports that Jim Carrey would be joining the cast of KICK-ASS 2 just may be true. Earlier tonight Mark Millar and Jeff Wadlow had an interesting little back and forth on Twitter revealing that the role of Colonel Stars had been filled that included some very interesting references.

With obvious references to both The Mask and Ace Ventura it appears that Carrey is indeed on board to play Colonel Stars in KICK-ASS 2. When fans asked Millar directly he would not confirm but it’s pretty damn obvious here what actor they’re referring to.

If you’re unfamiliar with the character that Carrey will be playing, Colonel Stars is an ex-thug and born again Christian who sets up Justice Forever, a superhero team that Kick-Ass joins early on in the second volume. The characters dog plays a large role in the comic but we won’t spoil that one for you.

Kick-Ass 2 hits theaters June 28, 2013.

The upcoming “Rise Of The Third Army” story-arc begins in this month’s Green Lantern #13 and will cross over into Green Lantern Corps, Green Lantern: New Guardians and Red Lanterns. This event will follow the quite shocking events seen in Green Lantern Annual #1 in which we saw what appeared to be the death of Hal Jordan and Sinestro. Then again, it is comics so no one is ever definitely dead. If you have already read the issue, you also witnessed the introduction of the First Lantern. DC Comic’s The Source sat down with Green Lantern writer Geoff Johns to discuss the mysterious character.

“Who the First Lantern is and what his role will be in the upcoming Green Lantern universe will come into play very, very quickly,” teased the writer. “The being inside has been imprisoned there for a long, long time. The Guardians consider him their greatest threat, but also their greatest source of power. Whether he’s friend or foe will be up for debate, but regardless he is one of the potentially most dangerous beings in existence.”

Green Lantern editor Matt Idelson also added:

“In GREEN LANTERN ANNUAL #1, readers got their first glimpse at the First Lantern, someone who’s been locked away for a very long time—for a VERY good reason! His presence in this story is the catalyst for something very bad, and yet his story is only going to grow from here.”

It appears this character will be playing a big role in the upcoming “Rise Of The Third Army”. But, just who is this character and what will his significance be?

Well, Adi Shankar has started casting for his all-female The Expendables style action flick. And guess who is meeting to appear? Geekscapists rejoice because it is none other than 80’s action legend, Cynthia Rothrock. The Philadelphia Daily News reports that a “reliable source” has filled them in that:

Shankar is set to meet with the “China O’Brien” star next week to talk about her starring in the just-announced “All-Female Expendables” movie.

And it appears that we should be prepared for more news on this movie to come later this week.

More inside “Expendables” info in Tattle on Tuesday.

While, we shouldn’t get our hopes up too high due to there being no official word yet, this does sound like a good start to this project. So, what are your thoughts on this one? Will Rothrock be enough to sell you on this project?

It appears that the Bluth family may still have some legal issues and need a lawyer, THR report that Henry Winkler is set to return to Arrested Development as Barry Zuckercorn. Does this mean we will also get Bob Loblaw (Scott Baio) making an appearance as well? One can only hope.

Winkler tweeted earlier today:

“I am supposed to be memorizing an Arrested Development scene with Maybe for today … don’t tell anyone I was here OK?????”

Winkler will appear in multiple episodes of the series which is set to return via Netflix next spring. The solution to all our problems is staring you in the face and it can’t even see you!

Bruce Willis appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman last night and talked about the status of the latest installment in the Die Hard franchise, A Good Day To Die Hard. Willis has confirmed that they have wrapped up filming and the movie will be hitting theaters next February. He even brought a first look for people to see!

Okay, so he tricked us too. It was pretty funny though.

Earlier this year, Hastings released a special variant cover for Avengers Vs. X-Men #1 in which we saw Deadpool taking bets on who was going to come out on top of the epic battle. Well, it looks like we now know who’s going to be cashing in with another special variant for issue #12!

• Extra-sized final issue!
• It’s all come down to this! The final battle—as the world burns!

Sony Pictures has agreed to move forward with The Redemption of Cain, an epic retelling of the Biblical tale of sibling rivalry….well, with vampires that is. Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment is producing the film and Sony is moving forward with the pic with hope for starting production in July 2013. Earlier this year reports came in that Smith wanted to make his directorial debut with this film.

Casting is set to begin in the next few weeks and there’s no word whether or not Smith will indeed be directing. Filming will take place in London and Jordan, with exteriors to be shot in Morocco. So, just how exactly will vampires factor into the Cain and Abel story ? Well, that’s currently unknown at the moment. Could this end up being another Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter? Highly doubt that but we will keep you updated as details are revealed.

Back in February of last year it was announced that Screen Gems, the company behind the Resident Evil moves, had acquired the rights to produce a live action adaptation of the Devil May Cry video game franchise. Kyle Ward (Machete Kills) has been attached to write the script but other than that there had been no news as far as casting, directors or a release date for the film. At E3, it was announced that the film will be based on the new game, DmC: Devil May Cry. The film base on the reboot is being positioned as an origin story for protagonist, Dante.

Well, now it appears that we may be getting a trailer for the film…next month?! The website Alberta Film Ratings has classified a trailer for the film adaptation and it appears that it will be attached with next months Resident Evil: Retribution. The site has classified the trailer at one minute and thirty-one seconds in length. This could definitely just be a teaser or announcement trailer but there really are no details on it yet other than the length. But, a minute and a half definitely seems length for a teaser don’t you think? Looks like some of you may actually have to go see Resident Evil: Retribution after all.

Earlier today it was announced that Marvel Studios would be re-releasing The Avengers into theaters for one week. But something stood out and lingered in my head throughout the day. When they made the announcement they released this image:

And with the image they stated:

Marvel’s The Avengers is back in theaters for Labor Day Weekend!

Don’t forget to stay through the credits…

Now obviously by now we’ve all stayed through the credits and we’ve seen both the Thanos scene as well as the shawarma scene. One does not simply leave a Marvel movie during the credits!

So, why make it a point to state that and already show the picture of Thanos? Could they be attaching an Iron Man 3 teaser with the re-release? They do already have the footage that they screened at Comic-Con and trust me when I tell you that it looks great. That alone would be a way to pack theaters once again.

Just earlier this month a trailer description leaked out online indicating that indeed a trailer was prepared for the upcoming movie. Another thing to note is that MovieFest attendees in Dublin, Ireland will be treated to some exclusive Iron Man 3 footage on the weekend after Labor Day. This could just be the Comic-Con footage being shown in Ireland for the first time, but could very well indicate that Disney prepared footage for a trailer for the re-release which is only taking place stateside and then decided MovieFest would be another good opportunity to show it.

Guess we are going to have to wait until tomorrow to find out!

When it was announced that Joss Whedon would be returning to write and direct the sequel to The Avengers and had signed a three-year exclusive contract….well, saying that fans were pleased would be an understatement. And just days ago it was announced that Whedon would be directing and co-writing the pilot for Marvel Studios upcoming live-action television series, S.H.I.E.L.D. Whedon recently chatted with Vulture and talked about his contract with Marvel Studios, directing the sequel to The Avengers and the S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot.

When asked if it had sunk in yet just how just how huge The Avengers went on to become:

It never really has, but when it does, I’m going to become such an enormous dick. [Laughs.] I’m going to have a personal dog polisher and the biggest posse ever. I’m going to be insufferable — well, I mean more insufferable than I already am. You know, at some point, the numbers become meaningless. They’re large, and you can’t really count that high. I felt like I had a particular mission in making what I felt was a slightly old-fashioned movie, because I grew up wanting to make summer movies and wanting to make superhero movies, and I got to do both at once. I felt like summer movies haven’t been what I remember them to be, so I felt like I would love to evoke something that’s less hip and ironic and more heartfelt and character-driven, and apparently, other people cared about that in a large way.
I don’t think it’s a perfect movie. I don’t even think it’s a great movie. I think it’s a great time, and I’m proud of it, but for me, what was exciting is that people don’t go to see a movie that many times unless it’s pulling on something from within, unless there’s a need there. That’s very gratifying.

Regarding his hesitation to helm the sequel to The Avengers and what he will be doing during his time with Marvel Studios:

It was part of what made it attractive to me. I loved the idea of being a consigliere. Every writer loves the idea of being able to go in and fix a problem and then leave without obligation. It’s fun! I also love these characters and the Marvel universe, and I grew up reading the books, and I’ve been going back and reading the old books and realizing that they shaped my storytelling way more than I give them credit for. Now I’m starting up a TV show, which is something I really wanted to do, but I thought it wasn’t going to be a part of my life for the next several years. It’s like a tapas menus of projects that excite me, in addition to the Avengers sequel, which I’m excited for because I’m incredibly excited about the next story that I’m going to tell. For me, it’s a huge win.

It is unbelievably daunting, especially because I don’t want to lose sight of all the other things I have on my docket and in my heart. So, it’s going to be an insane few years, but I feel ready for that. It’s an unholy amount of productivity, but as long as I give it all I can, it’s a good thing. What’s great is that the deal with Marvel is nonspecific, so I will give all I can, but the moment I can’t, I just walk away. The moment I say, “You know, I’d like to help more on this project, but I need this time for The Avengers,” there’s no obligation. It’s not like, “You must spend this amount of time on this movie.” It’s as much as it needs to be.

Discussing the recently green-lit S.H.I.E.L.D. TV pilot:

You know, I can’t guarantee that any of that will happen! But so far, it feels just fine. The important thing to me is that we know what the show is. We love what it is. It came together very organically, so when we went in to pitch [to Marvel], it wasn’t like, We’re trying to find this because you want a TV show, it was, Check this out. And that’s a good way to walk in a room.

Good support is wonderful, but it’s not a hill of beans, because they may give us all this support and then decide, “Eh. Yeah, it’s Friday.” They might give us all the support and then not do that, but then audiences might go, “Yeahhh … no.” You just can’t be sure. What I do know is that it’s the show it should be, and we’ve got some really dope notions. It’s going to work very well for people who either love the Marvel universe or for people who’ve never dipped a toe in the Marvel universe.

Reading this interview alone tells you why Joss Whedon is the perfect man for this job. I can’t wait to see what he brings to the table for the future of Marvel Studios. The currently untitled sequel to The Avengers is scheduled to hit theaters May 1, 2015.

It seem’s just about every other day that we get a new cast addtion to Jeff Wadlow’s upcoming sequel to KICK-ASS. Deadline report that Claudia Lee (Hart Of Dixie) has been cast in a co-starring role in the upcoming sequel. However the site does not currently have any info regarding who the young actress will be playing. Based on her age alone she could be playing one of the girls who bully Mindy aka Hit-Girl. Or possibly even another member of the Justice Forever team? Who do you think she could be playing? Sound off in the box below.

KICK-ASS 2 hits theaters June 28, 2013.

Marvel Studios has revealed via their Facebook page for the superhero epic and box office smash hit, The Avengers that the movie will be returning theaters this Labor Day Weekend! Starting tomorrow up until the 6th of September you will be able to once again assemble in theaters. The studio released a high-resolution still of Thanos to get fans even more hyped to see it again. Will you be assembling once more this weekend before you pick up the movie on DVD or Blu-Ray on September 25th?

Check out the first trailer for the The Iceman, starring Michael Shannon and directed by Ariel Vroman (Rx).  The film chronicles the life of Richard Kuklinski, a professional hitman who kept his work secret from his family. The contract killer was called “The Iceman” because he froze the bodies of his victims to disguise their time of death in order to throw the authorities off track.  The film also stars Chris Evans, Ray Liotta, Winona Ryder and James Franco.

The Iceman is the true story of Richard Kuklinski: loving husband, devoted father, ruthless killer. He is believed to have killed more than 250 people between 1954 and 1985.

No theatrical release date has been announced yet.

The crossover that almost happened! Just prior to DC launchng the New 52,  Chris Ryall of IDW and Phil Jimenez of DC Comics pitched the idea that got sidelined. However, don’t get too excted seeing these because the project is definitely dead in the water as Jimenez has begun posting the images to his Facebook.

The Metal Gear video games have always been quite heavily cinematic. For quite some time a live-action adaptation of the series has been in the works and after five years it seems that now the project is indeed moving forward. Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima has announced that the adaptation is in the works. Quite recently a journalist from Japan released a tweet that included an image from the Metal Gear Anniversary in Tokyo:

@ItCameFromJapan:

#MetalGear movie? Notice the Columbia logo on this display at the #MG25 event. @OXM @PSM3_Magazine @Pelaaja @OPM_UK http://ow.ly/i/TixK

Owly Images

The image shows more than one thing. First you can notice the Columbia Pictures log in it and that you can notice that it says Metal Gear Solid followed by Japanese characters that translate into “Hollywood Movie”. Avi Arad, the CEO and founder of Marvel Studios, joined Hideo Kojima onstage and announced that he will be the one producing the adaptation.

“For many years I fought to bring comics to theaters. Comic books are now the biggest genre in cinema and video games are the comics of today. We will take our time and tell the story with all the nuances, ideology, cautionary tales needed.”

Is there any release date and news further than that? No. But expect news to start popping up over the next few months.

The question we have for you, do you think it will be live action or CG? What would YOU prefer?

MGM has found their replacement for Hugh Laurie as the villain in their upcoming remake  of Robocop. While it was rumored for a bit that we may see Clive Owen fill the role, another actor has signed on. Probably known best in the geek community for playing Batman in the Tim Burton films, Academy Award winning actor Michael Keaton has joined the cast of RoboCop. He will play Raymond Sellers, the villainous head of Omni Corp. Director Jose Padilha stated:

“Michael is the final addition to the amazing cast we have assembled for this film and it is so great to have the last puzzle piece in place. It is thrilling that everything has come together to bring this innovative new vision of RoboCop to life. We’ve got a great script, a great cast, some killer ED-209’s and I can’t wait to get Alex Murphy back on the streets.”

The actor will star opposite Joel Kinnaman (The Killing) and a very impressive cast that also features Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman and many other fine actors. Production is set to start next month on the film with RoboCop scheduled to hit theaters August 9th, 2013.

The cast of this movie alone should sell you on seeing this. The debut red-band trailer for upcoming comedy The To Do List (which was previously titled The Hand Job), written and directed by Maggie Carey, has been released and it’s far from clean.  The film features Aubrey Plaza as a sexually inexperienced teenager with a type-A personality who makes the decision to engage in numerous sex acts before she goes to college.  Plaza is joined by Donald Glover, Rachel Bilson, Bill Hader, Andy Samberg, Alia Shawkat, Mae Whitman, Johnny Simmons, Connie Britton, Clark Gregg aka Agent Coulson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Scott Porter. Who isn’t in this movie? Isn’t this the perfect Valentines day movie? Why are you still reading what I am writing rather than watching the trailer?

Starring Aubrey Plaza, THE TO DO LIST follows the story of Brandy Klark (Plaza), a Type-A, overachiever who comes up with a “to-do list” featuring all the risqué extra-curricular activities she missed out on in high school and wants to complete before college. Rachel Bilson, Bill Hader, Andy Samberg, Scott Porter, Connie Britton, Clark Gregg, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Donald Glover, Johnny Simmons, Sarah Steele and Alia Shawkat co-star in the film.

The To Do List opens February 14th, 2013 aka Valentines day!

Check out Batman Of Shanghai, a short from Cartoon Network’s DC Nation. Let’s just say this is pretty damn awesome and I could actually see myself watching this one on a weekly basis. If you love Batman and you love anime…this is for you.

Batman of Shanghai is a series of animated shorts from the DC Nation block on Cartoon Network, presenting a unique re-imagining of the Batman universe in a heavily stylized form, set in a 1930’s era Shanghai.

It looks like we’re getting even more names added to the list of potential directors for Warner Bros. upcoming Justice League film. Peter Georgiou of Thinkmcflythink Tweeted earlier this week that he had heard some more names that were on Warner Bros. radar for the upcoming and he didn’t sound too stoked on the names he had heard. He’s revealed some of the names on the list that include Zack Snyder (Watchmen), Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) and joining Brett Ratner on the list of people that no one wants to do it…McG (Terminator: Salvation).

Georgiou also Tweeted that they were about eight names in total on this list, and we can possilby expect more to be revealed shortly. Keep in mind that of course if these directors are on the list it doesn’t mean that any of them are going to do it. Hell, some of these name have most likely not even been approached yet for the upcoming project. Let’s just keep Brett Rater and McG away from this one please Warner Bros. I think of all the names revealed Snyder, Fleischer and The Wachowskis are definitely the best picks on the list. So, what do you think about these?

Just hours ago news broke that ABC has green lit the live-action TV series based on Marvel’s peacekeeping organization, S.H.I.E.L.D. and now the first details have been revealed straight from the mouth of the pilot’s co-writer & director Joss Whedon. Variety snagged a quote from Whedon earlier today:

“The storyline for the proposed series will be largely “autonomous” from the “Avengers” sequel feature. The series will revolve around the activities of the SHIELD org governing body for the superheroes featured in  The Avengers.”

As we reported earlier, Whedon will be directing the pilot as well as writing alongside his brother, Jed Whedon & his wife Maurissa Tancharoen. There is a high possibility we could see many of the cast of the Marvel One-Shot Item 47, which included Jesse Bradford and Lizzy CaplanMaximiliano Hernández, Titus Welliver, as possible recurring cast members. And let’s cross our fingers for an Agent Coulson cameo/flashback…or two.

Writer Scott Snyder (Batman) has been talking quite a bit about his desire to write a Superman title. Well, rumor is that we may just see that happening next year. Bleeding Cool is revealing that the critically acclaimed writer will finally be getting a chance to show his take on the character. He won’t be taking on Superman, which is set to be taken over by Scott Lobdell, nor will he take a swing at  Action Comics which will see Andy Diggle taking over for Grant Morrison. DC are apparently planning to launch a third Superman series titled Man Of Steel which will coincide with Zack Snyder’s upcoming big screen adaptation. This title will most likely hit as part of a fourth wave of New 52 titles. Another piece of good news to go along with this? Well, it seems that with Jim Lee leaving Justice League he may be the man behind the art duties on this title.

Warner Bros. has released the first clip from the animated adaptation of Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns and does it look good. I mean, it looks really good and could even go on to top my personal favorite, Under The Red Hood. The story takes place a decade after Bruce Wayne gave up being Batman and entered retirement. The Dark Knight Returns is one of the best Batman stories ever told. It definitely is on top of the all-time must-read comics list and from the looks of it this may join it on top of the must-see animated movies.

It’s been a decade since Bruce Wayne hung up his cape, following most of the other superheroes who had been forced into retirement. Facing the downside of middle age, a restless Bruce Wayne pacifies his frustration with race cars and liquor – but the bat still beckons as he watches his city fall prey to gangs of barbaric criminals known as The Mutants.

The return of Harvey Dent as Two-Face finally prompts Wayne to once again don the Dark Knight’s cowl, and his dramatic capture of the villain returns him to crime-fighting – simultaneously making him the target of law enforcement and the new hope for a desolate Gotham City. Particularly inspired is a teenage girl named Carrie, who adopts the persona of Robin and ultimately saves Batman from a brutal attack by the Mutant leader. Armed with a new sidekick, and re-energized with a definitive purpose, the Dark Knight returns to protect Gotham from foes new…and old.

The Dark Knight Returns: Part One will be released September 25th.

Originally it was reported that Warner Bros. wanted Ben Affleck to direct their upcoming superhero epic, Justice League. After Affleck announced that he was not interested in doing the film the studio began compiling a list of directors which has been reported to be topped by Lana and Andy Wachowski. But, now another name has been reported to be on that list. While this may be a rumor, and man do I hope it is, Superman Super Site is reporting that sources close to the project are hearing that studio executives are very interested in Brett Ratner. Apparently none of these executives have seen the horrendous X-Men: The Last Stand.

“The studio is very pleased with the work that Brett [Ratner] has done as a producer and director on past projects,” states our sources. “They are now very interested in seeing what he can do with helping finally bring this group of iconic superheroes to the big screen!”

Yes, this would not be the first comic book movie for the filmmaker that is best known for directing the Rush Hour franchise. No, this is definitely not the project for that director. One of the few road bumps in this possibility is that Brett Ratner has just started pre-production on a fourth Rush Hour film. And may we all pray that they decide to go with someone else here. I am honestly quite interested in seeing a Wachowski helmed version of Justice League and hope that the rumors of them being the second choice on the list come to be true and end up with them helming the upcoming film. Until anything official is announced though…let’s keep this one on the rumor list.

You got your Dr. Who in my Monster Squad! Fans of both Dr. Who and the classic monster franchises are going to have a very special variant to take a chunk out out their wallets. This special variant of IDW’s Doctor Who #1 will be on sale at Third Eye Comics stores in September with copies also being available at the Annapolis Comic-Con in October.

Lego: The Piece of Resistance, the upcoming Warner Bros. animated feature, has just added Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games) and Morgan Freeman (It’s Morgan Freeman…do I really need to tell you what you’ve seen him in?) to the list of actors lending their voices to the film. Freeman will be taking on the role of Vitruvius but not much is known other than that. The current features Chris Pratt (Parks And Recreation) in the lead role and feature Will Arnett (Arrested Development) as the voice of Batman. There is rumor that Warner Bros. is hoping to land Channing Tatum to fill the role of Superman. The official plot for the film :

An ordinary Lego mini-figure, mistakenly thought to be the extraordinary MasterBuilder, is recruited to join a quest to stop an evil Lego tyrant from gluing the universe together.

Phil Lord & Christopher Miller (21 Jump Street)  will be directing the upcoming feature with a release date set for February 28, 2014.

Fox has picked up the rights to Athena, a drama based on the graphic novel Headache by writer Lisa Joy (Pushing Daisies), with plans to develop it as an hour long drama for the small screen. The graphic novel is described as:

This gripping coming-of-age tale of an 18-year-old girl who happens to be Athena. In Athena’s life, there’s no such thing as hyperbole. Her “evil” stepmother? Hera, who’s actually evil and out to kill her. The bad boy she falls in love with? Hades, king of the underworld. The philandering father whose approval she always seeks and fails to attain? Zeus the ultimate deadbeat dad. And now she must take on all of the gods in order to stop them from destroying mankind.

Deadline states that the show will consist of a storyline in which “each week she must maintain her secret identity while battling a slew of ancient monsters from Greek mythology and searching to uncover which of the other Greek gods is secretly plotting against her to take over the Earth”. Joy will write and executive produce the hour long project alongside Peter Chernin (Rise of The Planet Of The Apes) and Katherine Pope (New Girl).
