Valve is a company that likes to take risks and innovates in ways other companies don’t. Their inventory and item crafting system for Team Fortress 2 changed how the community interacted. Now it appears that they are doing it again. This time with, trading cards? We got a Press Release from Valve today and it reads:

May 15, 2013 — Valve, creators of best-selling game franchises (such as Counter-StrikeHalf-Life, Left 4 Dead, Portal, and Team Fortress) and leading technologies (such as Steam and Source), today announced Steam Trading Cards, a new service that rewards gamers for gaming on Steam.

Released in beta today, Steam Trading Cards allows customers to earn Steam rewards for playing the games they love. Those who participate will receive game-specific trading cards that can be collected to earn rewards such as game badges, profile backgrounds, emoticons, coupons, and more.

The group of titles participating in the Steam Trading Cards beta includes Don’t Starve, Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Team Fortress 2, Portal 2 and Half-Life 2. The service will expand over the coming months to include many more titles on Steam.

They seem like they are taking what they did with TF2 and bringing it to the entire system. Some of the cards can be obtained just by playing the game while some need to be collected through other means.

The biggest feature that this is bringing is the Badge Crafting. Players can take certain cards they’ve collected and craft them into badges. Badges give the player experience points that level up their Steam Profile. This gives them on gameplay bonuses like avatars, emoticons for chat and more friend slots. The big feature you can get are random rewards. These can range from profile showcases for certain games, background image wallpapers all the way up to free DLC and discount coupons.

For more information on the new cards or to sign up for the beta head on over to the official trading card page.

Borderlands 2 writer Anthony Burch made a little mistake on Twitter. He snapped a pic of sleeping head of VP, Steve Gibson. What he didn’t realize is that a giant banner for the next DLC was in the background.

Bae Caught me slippin!
Bae Caught me slippin!

What does this mean for you, the consumer? Well it is most likely the last episode of their season pass of DLC. We can expect the tease we got a month ago was for this. Assault on Dragons Keep looks like it may be a blast!

No release date or official word from Gearbox has been issued. The tweet was removed rather quick, but as Scarlett Johansson can attest to, once online its permanent.

These last few days have been INSANE with all the information coming out for the next in the Battlefield series. We have teaser trailers, dog tags and a stack of leaked features. Come with me!

A few days ago we got the leaked artwork for BF4 ( check out our write up on it here ). Then the guys over at DICE created a new site that urged players to log in. The new Battlefield 4 Official Website had a counter going, the more players that logged in with their Origin account the more would be revealed for the first teaser image. What was unlocked first was this fabulously orange picture of a smoking aircraft carrier, titled “Amphibious Assault”

Battlefield 4 Amphibious Assault

Couple that with today’s teaser “SEA”, I HOPE, that we can see a type of aircraft carrier defend mode. If you’ve played Battlefield 2142’s Titan mode then you know what kind of crazy antics to expect.

Next we got this other teaser, “Land”.

Tease after tease! FINALLY, we got some leaked info on what the game features will be like. These are unconfirmed as of now, but hopefully at least half of these stick.

Battlefield 4 will stick with 64 players. Maps are larger and more detailed.

Three factions: US, Russia, and an unnamed “Eastern/Asian” faction.
4 classes with “additional features and tweaks” compared to BF3
Shipping with same amount of maps as BF3, there are plans for lots of DLC.
DLC is already in planning stages.
Battlefield 4 Premium will be available on day one and include some perks.
Most of the guns and vehicles from BF3 will return.
More squad features.
Commander feature returns, but won’t be the same as in BF2
Battlefield 4 is coming out on both current and next gen systems, and PC as well.
Game is more of an evolution rather than revolution of the series. Both technically and gameplay wise.
Will ship with more game modes than BF3
Will ship with more close quarter infantry maps than BF3
Frostbite 2 engine is pushed further in BF4. Better effects, higher res textures, more detailed game worlds, etc.
BF3 will still be supported after Battlefield 4 launches.
There is plan of some sort of integration between BF3 and BF4. Could be Battlelog-only.
Battlelog will be updated for Battlefield 4 with more social features and more detailed stats.
Single-player and co-op will return, new writers involved this time.

This is all very, very exciting! I really hope they implement some sort of Titan mode and bring the Commander Role back proper. Playing Commander in BF2 was one of the funnest things I did in the game, besides intense HALO missions.

With all this info getting pumped out we can certainly expect the game to shit this year, like what was rumored.

If you’ve never played Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game, you’ve missed one of the finest beat-em-up titles in recent memory. The game looks great, sounds wonderful, and is an absolute blast to play with friends. Being based on Scott Pilgrim vs. the World of course, doesn’t hurt things either.

If you have played it, it may be time to dust off the ol’ (digital) game; a new DLC pack has been released adding Wallace Wells to the roster, and more importantly online multiplayer! The game was local-multiplayer only up to this point, so it’s quite impressive to see support still coming for a game so dated.

Watch the trailer for the DLC below, and pick it up! The DLC pack costs a cool $4.99.

The first of three planned maps for the online portion of Halo 4 just got a release trailer. Check out what you can expect in the “Crimson Map Pack” below.

I am actually not very impressed. These all feel very very similar to existing maps, nothing screams “BUY ME”. If you want to enjoy Crimson you can for 800 MS points on December 10th.

By now you’ve played a SHIT TON of Borderlands 2. You’ve played New Game +, twice. You’ve beaten Terramorphous a stack of times. “Now what?” you ask. Well now it’s time to put your pirate boots on and go hunt for treasure! AND YOU CAN DO THAT TODAY!

The just released DLC for Borderlands 2 , Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate Booty hits stores today. Check out the trailer for the expansion below.

This can only be good news, and straight from the big N!

Today we welcomed Nintendo into the 21st century as New Super Mario Bros. 2 welcomed its first few pieces of DLC. Sunday’s pod had the first information about this, and on Tuesday we followed up with all the details. Those coin rush packs are now available for purchase!

That isn’t todays big news however. Nintendo has announced that this holiday season there will be a heavy focus on the eShop and revamping its catalogue. They’ve announced that more FULL 3DS titles will be hitting the virtual shelves this month, and that more are in the pipeline for the future!

Nintendo also revealed several more original titles and Virtual Console games that are set to hit the store in the coming months!

From the press release:

“The Nintendo eShop demonstrates Nintendo’s commitment to providing consumers with unique digital content through a combination of creativity and convenience,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “The variety and quality of games coming this year is unmatched, from new entries in established franchises to original properties.”

The following content is scheduled to launch in the Nintendo eShop in 2012:

ORIGINAL GAMES

  • NightSky launches Oct. 25. NightSky is an action-puzzle game that offers an ambient game-play experience with cerebral challenges that fill uniquely designed, picturesque worlds. Each of these worlds is broken into different areas in which the player must maneuver a sphere by using realistic physics to advance.
  • Crashmo launches Nov. 22. Players can embrace the laws of gravity and challenge themselves with a whole new kind of action-puzzle play in this exciting sequel to the critically acclaimed Pushmo. New gravity mechanics and gadgets like floating blocks, doors and move switches await, testing players’ skills as they push, pull and slide each puzzle’s colorful blocks in order to climb to the top. Just be careful where those blocks are moved—unsupported blocks will come crashing down.Crashmo contains lots of puzzles to test your brains, and enhanced puzzle-creation and -sharing features mean that even when all the puzzles are cleared, the fun never has to stop.
  • Fluidity: Spin Cycle arrives on Dec. 27, letting players tilt, turn and even rotate their Nintendo 3DS system 360 degrees to maneuver a puddle of water named Eddy through a maze-like, magical world. Change from liquid to a block of ice or a steam cloud to solve fun, gravity-defying puzzles and defeat Goop monsters. Fluidity: Spin Cycle features a new storybook setting to explore that spans the ages, from a lost world full of dinosaurs to the modern world and beyond.
  • Three original games from LEVEL-5 and several well-known Japanese collaborators will launch in the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS before this holiday season. The first of these games, SUDA 51’s LIBERATION MAIDEN, is set 100 years in the future, when the president of Japan boards her Liberator, Kamui, and fights to free her country one region at a time. AERO PORTER by Yoot Saito and Yasumi Matsuno’s CRIMSON SHROUD are also slated for release by the end of the year.
  • Get ready to unleash pedestrian-tossing pandemonium with Grace and Savannah in Tokyo Crash Mobs, a fast-paced action-puzzle game coming to the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS in early 2013. Players will need lightning-fast reflexes and an eye for strategy to survive the three chaotic weeks that lie ahead for our heroines, as they take on anyone and anything that gets in their way.

Can you imagine if every 3DS game had a day one digital edition?

Nintendo and DLC are two words that probably have never been used in the same sentence together. Now they can be! As Jonathan pointed out on Sunday’s pod, Nintendo is about to enter this decade.

This Thursday, for the low price of $2.50 a piece, you’ll be able to breathe some new life into your copy of New Super Mario Bros. 2. Each DLC pack contains 3 courses for coin rush mode. Nintendo also noted that more packs are on the way!

This is really new for Nintendo, and I couldn’t be more excited. Bring on the DLC!

From the press release:

While normal Coin Rush Mode offers players three levels chosen at random, the ones in the add-on pack are the same three in the same order every time. That gives players the ability to test themselves against one another on an even playing field.

“Nintendo fans have really enjoyed the fun and competition of Coin Rush Mode, recently surpassing more than 100 billion total coins collected worldwide,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “These new packs offer completely new levels that fit into the New Super Mario Bros. 2 world, but offer new challenges that will keep players coming back for more.”

The packs being released on Oct. 4 include:

  • Gold Rush Pack: Fun new courses that give novice players the best chance to collect lots of gold, and veterans the chance to set even higher Coin Rush records.
  • Coin Challenge Pack A: The New Super Mario Bros. 2 website will track the rankings based on the scores for this pack, enabling players to measure their scores against other tallies from around the world in these more open courses.
  • Nerve-Wrack Pack: Intense new courses designed for veteran players looking for new challenges.

These packs can be purchased with the following procedures: Players who are connected to a wireless Internet connection must first activate SpotPass in the game and receive a notification from New Super Mario Bros. 2.* After receiving the notification, the next time the player enters Coin Rush Mode**, a Shop icon will appear in the game. Players who have accessed the shop can then read information about the packs, including descriptions, difficulty ratings and the required storage space. As long as players have enough funds in their Nintendo eShop balance, they can then tap and purchase the packs they want all within the game.

Excited? You should be! Think about the possibilities now that Nintendo has learned that DLC exists!

Back when The Cabin In The Woods had wrapped shooting, keep in mind that this was some time ago before MGM went bankrupt and the film got delayed, there were plans to develop a themed expansion pack for Valve’s Left 4 Dead. The DLC would have allowed players to run through scenarios from the movie. Sounds awesome right? Damn you MGM and your vile bankruptcy!

Unfortunately for us, with all the issues that the film’s release saw, the project ended up getting scrapped. Director Drew Goddard recently discussed what the game would have been like in his Reddit AMA :

“The game was gonna be amazing. You were gonna be able to play in both the upstairs Cabin in the Woods world and the downstairs ‘facility’ world with all the monsters. Believe me, I HATE all video games based on movies, they always suck, but porting Cabin into Left For Dead felt like the right fit. It pains me that it didn’t happen.”

That sounds awesome right? Man, I would have loved to have run around and saw the chalkboard and killed that fucking unicorn. Yeah, I said it. I’d kill the unicorn…and what?

The Wii U is really making me excited. I was already sold on it because I am a Nintendo fanboy, but I was worried that it will face the same issues that Wii did. Limited graphics and very kid like games. Sure there were a few gems on the Wii, but it was primarily a kid console. Well the Wii U is changing that. Take a look at this trailer for Ninja Gaiden 3: Razors Edge!

Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn. Not only does the trailer start out with some nice robo titties and anime booty, but it goes right into the ultra violence.

NG:RE will feature the original Ninja Gaiden 3 game and all the DLC, plus a nice graphic improvement.

No official release date has been given, just a Q4 2012, but we can assume it is a launch title. At least I hope it is.

The gaming community has been waiting desperately for the Dawnguard expansion of Skyrim to hit PC and PS3 for a long time now. Well, GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! It has just hit the STEAM market place! So if you own Skyrim, head on over to the DAWNGUARD page and buy up this deliciously dark expansion. And if you’ve been living under a rock in FarmVille and have no idea what any of this means, take a gander at the announcement trailer below.

Valve’s new add-on to the very popular game Left 4 Dead 2 has been delayed <once again> for Xbox 360. The DLC, Cold Stream has been promised for more than a year for Xbox 360 players. The blog for the game posted that the new content was releasing July 24th (about two weeks ago). The DLC will also include four other imports from the first Left 4 Dead. They are, Blood Harvest, Crash Course, Dead Air, and Death Toll

“We are working with MS on a release schedule,” Valve wrote on their official Left 4 Dead Developer Twitter feed. “We don’t have an ETA yet but we hope to have it out soon. It will be 560 [Microsoft Points, or $7]… We have no news on an [ETA] yet.”

I actually rushed home today and had my night planned around playing it. Guess if I had my choice I’d take the bat upside Valve’s head for the delay. Better yet, the chainsaw!

The PC version is available now on Steam for free.

Extending the already wonderful puzzler, Quantum Conundrum, two new downloadable packs has just been announced by Square Enix.

First up is The Desmond Debacle. For a drinking bird, Desmond sure is devious with the puzzles he produces for us to solve in a new, unexplored wing of the Quadwrangle Manor. The Desmond Debacle will hit July 31 on Steam, August 14 on PSN and August 15 for XBLA.

Coming almost a month later, IKE-aramba! will put everyone back on call for rescue duty. IKE (Interdimensional Kinetic Entity) ends up being the one needing the rescue this time in place of Professor Fitz. Expect IKE-aramba! to release August 28 on Steam, September 11 on PSN and September 12 for XBLA.

Both DLC packs will be $2.99 each or if you were savvy enough to get the season pass for Quantum Conundrum, the DLC will be free.

Having your power out during 90+ degree weather for 5 hours is not a good way to start off your gaming weekend. Thankfully, the drought of releases hasn’t hit us yet so there are plenty of new things to check out this weekend. Here are my recommendations:

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: Dawnguard DLC

Those of us unfortunate enough to not own it for the Xbox 360 will have to wait another month before we get our chance to play Dawnguard. For the lucky ones though, just having the option of either being a werewolf or a vampire lord is enticing enough to jump back in to the world of Skyrim. The fact that the story for both vampire lord and werewolf are around 10 hours each make the $20 asking price well worth it.

Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead: Episode 2

If werewolves and vampires are not your thing, may I offer you zombies? Just beating out the monthly timeline that Telltale sets for their episodic games, The Walking Dead: Episode 2 will continue the story of Lee and the survivors along with all of the awful choices you were forced to make in the previous episode. From the early looks of Episode 2, it’s going to get even tougher to make those on the spot choices… not to mention the addition of some very tense scenarios when another band of survivors discovers the group.

I Remember The Rain

I became aware of this game through IndieGames.com and was very thankful for it. But a word of warning: you have to go into I Remember The Rain knowing that it’s all story. Very little interaction is required by the player. Although being only 5 minutes long, the story that Jordan Browne constructs after only working on the title for a month is stunning. I must have played it 3 times in a row and each time I was blown away by how I Remember The Rain pulled at my emotional strings. I guess I am a sucker for a good story. I think you will be too.

You thought it was over? It can’t be over! Doom 3 was just the warm up fight! Return to Doom 3 October 16th!

Bethesda is releasing a re-tuned and refined edition of Doom 3. Notable improvements include: The Resurrection of Evil DLC, Seven new levels titled “The Lost Missions”, Tighter controls, New checkpoint system that allows for more fluid gameplay, enhanced graphics and visuals optimized for 3D on PS3 and XBOX.

The most important addition. The one that I think all fans of Doom and Doom 3 will LOVE.

ARMOR MOUNTED FLASHLIGHT!

Now you can light the darkness and shoot AT THE SAME TIME! If you are a player of the original Doom 3 then you should be jumping for joy right now. The most downloaded mod for the first released Doom was the Duct Tape Mod that let you use the flashlight and the gun at the same time.

Doom 3 BFG also includes Doom 1 and Doom 2. It hits store shelves October 16th.

With little fanfare, the folks over at Signal Studios released some DLC for one of the rare few tower defense style games I enjoy: Toy Soldiers: Cold War. Between fighting for Mother Russia in the Evil Empire DLC or saying “good morning” to Vietnam in the Napalm DLC, I am happy to have a reason to jump back in to Toy Soldiers: Cold War.

“Evil Empire” has you playing three new campaign missions that are probably the best out of the two DLC packs that Signal Studios released. I really had to use strategy more so than brute force in the missions. One of the new vehicle on the Russian side, The Hormone,  is a beast against light armor and infantry. I would mainly use the chopper for air-to-air combat and stick with the tanks and turrets for ground forces. The Orbital Laser barrage is pointless to air targets so use it when a land heavy attack wave is coming. I had to laugh at myself for thinking the game was broken when the Orbital Laser went through the bombers i was trying to wipe out. It’s a minor annoyance and easily looked past. On the bad side, the final boss was a little easy to take down. The tanks somehow do a great deal of damage to the Super Tank and simply chasing behind it while shooting at it is all I did. Having the vehicles recharge faster than normal also made the boss fight child’s play.

“Napalm” places you in Vietnam for another three missions yet I couldn’t tell you what the 1st two missions were like. They were over in a flash for me. Either I got really good from playing Evil Empire or these missions were, for the lack of a better term, for babies. All I remember is that I used fully upgraded artillery turrets, aimed them at where the waves were coming out and let the A.I. take over. This gave me some time to eat my lunch so I guess I can be thankful for that.

Napalm did, however, find time to make me hate the new laser tanks in the final mission. No matter what I threw at them, the laser tanks would just keep on coming and in the process, destroy all of my level 3 upgraded turrets. Even when you get a laser tank of your very own to use it seems to take more shots than it should to bring them down. I was so focused on those abominations that the final boss was the least of my concerns. I experienced nothing but frustration with this mission and it brings the whole DLC pack down a notch.

The mini-games added to the DLC packs are just like the rest of them to me, play them once then never again. The whack-a-mole variant mini-game for the Evil Empire map has you controlling an artillery cannon and you have to shoot pigs instead of moles. The Hang Time mini-game is nothing more than seeing how many soldiers you can rescue before time runs out or if your chopper is destroyed. I can’t see how anyone had more than a minute of fun with any of the mini-games. I could be missing the point with them since that is probably why they were put in Toy Soldiers: Cold War.

On the online multiplayer side, I couldn’t get a game going that wasn’t riddled with lag so I can’t say for sure if the new multiplayer maps are any good. The new survival modes are very good indeed though. Instead of throwing new survival maps in the DLC, Signal Studios went ahead and added two new modes instead.  For the Evil Empire DLC, you get Trauma mode. If you have no blatant disregard for your turrets and figure “I will just replace it if it dies. I have money to do so”, be prepared to lose.

In Trauma mode, every turret you place ticks health off your toy box. Since 20 is your health limit, you can see the importance of not only placing strategic turrets but also keeping them alive. I liked how Trauma mode made me think on my feet a lot more and second guess myself a lot. If you don’t want a “thinking man’s game”, Commando mode is here for you. Depending on what survival map you select, you have nothing but your commando barrage to take on the waves of enemies. This mode is so much fun. It never got old as I ran up to a wave of infantry and mowed them all down as my commando shouted cheesy one-liners. I had to adopt a stick-and-move strategy for the helicopters since their rockets do a lot of damage.

There are some hits and misses with each of the two DLC and really, if you want more Toy Soldiers: Cold War you should buy both, no question about it. For 400 Microsoft points each, that is pretty cheap for what you get in each DLC pack. If you must only get one of them, however, I feel Evil Empire has more of what the style of the Toy Soldiers’ series is about between the strategic campaign missions as well as Trauma mode.

Yesterday Valve announced their latest in DLC for Portal 2, AND IT’S NOT HATS!

The “Perpetual Testing” DLC, which ships May 8th, gives players a puzzle creation tool so that they can make their own Portal challenges and share them with the community. It is all available in game so you don’t even need to learn a new tool like the Steam Hammer.

Check out the official site for more details.

This appears to be the jolt Portal 2 needs to stay one of the most popular games around.

I still cry when I remember that I use to own so many G.I. Joe’s and neglected them to the point of losing them all. Man, I was such a irresponsible kid. At least Signal Studios can help me forget about all that by releasing DLC for Toy Soldiers: Cold War tomorrow. Two, in fact.

In “Evil Empire”, you take control of the Russians in an effort to crush the capitalist pigs while “Napalm” has you in Vietnam re-enacting scenes from Platoon with Charlie Sheen (Not really). Each DLC will have three new campaign missions with a new multiplayer map. New mini-games, weapons, and vehicles are also at your disposal.

400 Microsoft points for each DLC is what you’re looking at if you want to reach back into your toy box to play some more Toy Soldiers: Cold War. I will be reviewing both DLC packs later this week so until then, have a look at the launch trailers.

Someone in the marketing department should be sacrificed to the gods and thrown into a volcano for letting this box art for the recently announced Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition.

It’s worse than this one:

At least we get some info that the rumors were true about some new DLC featuring Harley Quinn. The “Harley Quinn’s Revenge” DLC will be available separately, as a download, from the GOTY version on May 29th for PSN and May 30th for Xbox Live. Having this DLC be the final chapter might leave some of you with a bad taste in your mouth. Being sold what could be considered a “true ending” never comes off as a good thing. Well, I guess we can always just look forward to the next game in the Arkham saga…!

Till May though, check out this sweet trailer:

Today the crew over at Capcom and CyberConnect2 announced that starting this afternoon on PS3 (28th XBOX), players of the crazy genre blending anime-fueled  experience, will be able to purchase and download the first in a series of DLC for the game.

Today players will be able to grab “Episode 11.5”. 11.5 offers insight on what happened between Episode 11 and Episode 12. Then next week, April 3rd, “Episode 15.5” hits the PSN and XBL stores. Both of these episodes offer a shift in the art style, taking an Anime approach. Check the trailer below, make sure to watch the WHOLE thing.

As you can see Street Figher favorites, Ryu and Akuma, make an appearance. Expect to get your hands on them in May with the Lost Episode packs.

Here is a full rundown of the entire DLC schedule and pricing. Hit the thumbnail below.

When the Xbox Live Marketplace accidentally leaked Mass Effect 3’s DLC “From Ashes“, people were outraged. People were angry that Bioware/EA had seemingly taken out content developed alongside the main game and are selling it as DLC, especially since there are supposedly voice files for the DLC character simply known as “The Prothean” already packed into the demo. Whether this is the real voice of the character or not, people were raging pretty hard at Bioware and EA. One of the more common complaints is that the character was already built into the game during development and was subsequently removed to become paid DLC for an already pricey game. Its 60 dollars for the standard edition of the game and having to pay 10 more dollars for DLC that was supposedly developed alongside the main game on Day One is definitely outrageous and can also become pretty expensive as further DLC is released.

Three days ago, Michael Gamble (Producer of the Mass Effect franchise) posted on the Bioware Forums regarding the leak and wanted to clear things up. This is from his post:

As most of you know, yesterday there was a leak that revealed the upcoming DLC “ME3:From Ashes” on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. This leak took place before we were prepared to make an announcement about the details of that pack (slated for this Friday).

There has been a lot of discussion about the DLC offering but we wanted to clarify a few things…

– “From Ashes” includes the Prothean squad mate, an adventure on Eden Prime, a new weapon, and an alternate appearance for every squad mate. Note that these alternate appearances are in addition to the ones already advertised in the CE.

– The Collectors Edition has been advertised from the beginning as containing a bonus character/mission, but we were not at liberty to provide the details. The Prothean is optional content that is certainly designed to appeal to long-time fans, which is why he is part of the CE offering (the version many fans would be likely to purchase).  Mass Effect 3 is a complete – and a huge game – right out of the box.

– The content in “From Ashes” was developed by a separate team (after the core game was finished) and not completed until well after the main game went into certification.

– The Collectors Edition has been sold out in most places for some time now, and is becoming very hard to find (many players prefer not to purchase the digital version). As such, we wanted to make this content available so that SE buyers could also incorporate the Prothean into their game.

As always, we are extremely thankful for all of your support. We pulled out all of the stops to make Mass Effect 3 the best game ever, and we can’t wait for you all to experience it.

Mike

So that’s the official response from Bioware. Interestingly enough, Gamestop’s facebook also leaked screenshots ahead of when Bioware was planning to announce From Ashes officially. Screenshots are below if you can handle minor spoilers.

To the geeks out there, what do you think? Feel free to let us know in the comments below!
