For those of you that won’t be completely swallowed by the hype trains behind the Nintendo Switch and Horizon Zero Dawn, look no further than Xbox’s Games with Gold for March 2017.

While not the strongest line-up in the history of the service, there are still some interesting and fun games worth taking a look at. Xbox One users will be able to play the horror title Layers of Fear as well as the infamous team shooter Evolve. Xbox 360 users (also playable on Xbox One) will be able to get their hands on the extremely addicting Borderlands 2, and Popcap’s side scrolling shooter Heavy Weapon. Check out the trailer below to get the specific dates of each release, and tel us your favorite game from the selection in the comments below!

Briefly: Aside from a pretty awful title, this is some pretty sweet news.

The announcement of Telltale’s Tales From The Borderlands was a welcome reveal, but we’ve all been waiting desperately for 2K Games to reveal the next true Borderlands title.

Today, we got that reveal with Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

The game will launch this Fall on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC (no next-gen interestingly enough), and will take us (for the first time) to the moon of Pandora. According to 2K’s official blog post, the game is “Set between Borderlands and Borderlands 2, you’ll play as four new characters classes fighting alongside Handsome Jack, witnessing his transformation into the ruthless tyrant you loved to hate in Borderlands 2, and assisting with the rise of the Hyperion Corporation. The signature shoot ‘n’ loot gameplay of the Borderlands series expands with the addition of low-gravity and oxygen-powered jetpack combat, the icy ‘Cryo’ elemental damage type, the deadly laser weapon class, and new vehicles to help you explore the lunar landscape.”

Sounds like some worthy additions to the already awesome gameplay, don’t they?

The game’s new classes are as follows:

– Athena, the Gladiator: Uses her Kinetic Aspis, which is a shield that can absorb incoming damage, then convert it back into energy to use against enemies. Athena made her debut in The Secret Armory of General Knoxx DLC for the first Borderlands game.

– Wilhelm, the Enforcer: Wilhelm was previously seen in Borderlands 2 as one of the first deadly bosses in the game.

– Nisha, the Lawbringer: The sheriff of Lynchwood from Borderlands 2, Nisha will be dealing out her own brand of justice, which we’ll discuss further in the coming months.

– Claptrap, the Fragtrap: Wait – Claptrap? The goofy robot companion from Borderlands 2, now playable for the first time? Fragtrap is his character class? Well, you can play him too!

You can take a look at the first screenshots from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel below, and head over to the 2K Blog for a few more details. Are you ready to jump back into this universe? What are you looking forward to most?

If you are a fan of Borderlands and a fan of Halloween, then you are in luck! T.K. Baha’s Bloody Harvest, the brand new Borderlands 2 DLC pack, incorporates the best of both worlds into one piece of awesome gameplay.

For only $2.99, Borderlands 2 players can travel to the new Hallowed Hollow location. There they will find a variety of new spooky enemies, locations, and objects. From blowing up skeletons, smashing pumpkins, and eating candy powerups, this DLC truly gives players the best of Halloween and Borderlands fun.

While the DLC is short and can completed in one sitting, the low price and the goodies to be had by completing it easily make up for that. It is the first in a series of compact and modestly priced Headhunter pack DLCs for the game.

So if you want some fun holiday gameplay and have a couple bucks to spare, I highly recommend picking up T.K. Baha’s Bloody Harvest! The DLC is available for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and OS X versions of the game.

Just tweeted a few hours ago on the official Gearbox twitter was a little bit of info about a soon to be released short film.

Gearbox Twitter Screencap

From glancing at the image I recognize Tiny Tina right away, could this be another trailer for an upcoming DLC? The last expansion for Borderlands 2 has yet to be released and some speculate that it may actually take place on the Hyperion Space Station. There isn’t anything more tangible than this little info we got. You can be sure that the moment this new short film is released we will let you know.

Borderlands 2 writer Anthony Burch made a little mistake on Twitter. He snapped a pic of sleeping head of VP, Steve Gibson. What he didn’t realize is that a giant banner for the next DLC was in the background.

What does this mean for you, the consumer? Well it is most likely the last episode of their season pass of DLC. We can expect the tease we got a month ago was for this. Assault on Dragons Keep looks like it may be a blast!

No release date or official word from Gearbox has been issued. The tweet was removed rather quick, but as Scarlett Johansson can attest to, once online its permanent.

By now you’ve played a SHIT TON of Borderlands 2. You’ve played New Game +, twice. You’ve beaten Terramorphous a stack of times. “Now what?” you ask. Well now it’s time to put your pirate boots on and go hunt for treasure! AND YOU CAN DO THAT TODAY!

The just released DLC for Borderlands 2 , Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate Booty hits stores today. Check out the trailer for the expansion below.

Borderlands 2 hit shelves today and IDW will be releasing Borderlands: Origins a four-issue run of tie-in comics coming this November. The mini-series will serve as a prequel to the first game. Check out the cover for the first issue as well as the variant for it!

Tomorrow marks the day where gamers in North America can return to Pandora. Gearbox Software have just released this little launch trailer to get our excitement up! Take a look with me!

Borderlands 2 (or as a friend of mine once called it, Binderlords) launches tomorrow, the 18th on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3!

God, September 21st cannot get here soon enough. The long awaited sequel to one of my all time favorite games, Borderlands 2, hits store shelves. Today we get another little tease as with the “Come and Get Me” trailer.

It’s great to see all the fourth-wall-breaking humor is still there. Oh, and all those guns.
