Briefly: Following the series’ full trailer from just a few days back, HBO today revealed a sharp official poster for its upcoming Westworld.

The series premieres on October 2nd and stars Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Ben Barnes, Jimmi Simpson, Clifton Collins, Jr., Simon Quarterman and Angela Sarafyan.

Westworld is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin, exploring a world in which every human appetite, no matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged.

This thing looks freaking crazy. Take a look at the poster below, and be sure to let us know just how excited you are for this one.

Briefly: FOX today debuted a new TV spot for its upcoming The Exorcist remake… and if you’re prone to nightmares you might not want to watch this one before bed.

The 30 second spot features some freaky-as-hell imagery, but also that classic theme music that may give you a bad case of intronitus.

Widely regarded as the greatest horror movie ever made, The Exorcist broke box office records and terrified audiences around the world. Now, more than four decades after the Academy Award-nominated film, The Exorcist returns as a TV series. Directed by Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes), The Exorcist is a propulsive psychological thriller following two very different priests tackling one family’s case of horrifying demonic possession.

Father Tomas Ortega (Alfonso Herrera, “Sense8,” “The Chosen”) is the new face of the Catholic Church: progressive, ambitious and compassionate. He runs a small but loyal parish in the suburbs of Chicago. He has no idea that his quiet life is about to change forever. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, another priest finds himself locked in a life-and-death struggle with evil. Father Marcus Brennan (Ben Daniels, “Flesh and Bone,” “House of Cards”) is a modern-day Templar Knight, an orphan raised since childhood by the Vatican to wage war against its enemies. Father Marcus is everything Father Tomas is not: relentless, abrasive and utterly consumed by his sacred mission.

Caught in the middle is the Rance family, members of Tomas’ parish. On the surface, they’re a normal, suburban family, but all is not as it seems in this household. The patriarch, Henry Rance (guest star Alan Ruck, “Spin City,” Ferris Bueller’s Day Off), is slowly but surely losing his mind. Eldest daughter Katherine (Brianne Howey, “Scream Queens”) has become a recluse who refuses to leave her room. Her younger sister, Casey (Hannah Kasulka, “The Fosters”), thinks she’s hearing strange noises coming from inside the walls. And mother Angela (Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Geena Davis, “Commander in Chief,” Thelma & Louise) has been plagued by recurring nightmares, each more frightening than the last. Angela believes there is something in the house, a demonic presence, growing stronger by the day. Desperate, she begs Father Tomas for help, unwittingly setting the naïve young priest on a collision course with Father Marcus. Separately, each faces an insurmountable task, but together they become the only hope against an evil force that has been mobilizing for centuries.

Take a look at the TV spot below, and be sure to let us know what you think. The Exorcist premieres on September 23rd!

Briefly: We’re now just a few months away from Marvel’s insanely anticipated Doctor Strange, and the studio today released a short new sneak peek at the film, detailing Mordo, the ‘Zealot’s, and so much more.

The featurette comes in at just a minute long, though looks to be a piece of a larger puzzle that I’m hoping we’ll see soon. In any case, it’s fantastic to get some more insight on the still fairly mysterious film, even if it’s just barely 60 seconds worth.

The film follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.

Take a look at the video below, and be sure to let us know what you think! Doctor Strange hits theatres on November 4th!

Briefly: We were already excited for Jenji Kohan’s upcoming Netflix series G.L.O.W., but today’s news has certainly taken that excitement to another level.

The series was announced back in May, and is inspired by the real-life Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling promotion that was wildly popular before disbanding in the early 90’s.

The series, according to Variety, has been described as “big hair and body slams,” and will hit Netflix in the form of ten, thirty-minute episodes.

Variety reported today that Community star and worldwide celebrity crush Allison Brie has joined the series as its main character, “who finds one last attempt to live her dreams in the form of a weekly series about female wrestlers.”

It’s going to be so good. Hell, it’s a Netflix series, it was always going to be good.

Are you old enough to remember G.L.O.W.? Are you looking forward to this new series? Be sure to sound out in the comments below!

Briefly: We got our first peek at Supergirl‘s Superman late last month, and The CW today debuted a slick new poster for the series’ anticipated return, reminding us that The CW has a new hero, and that Supergirl has a new home.

Supergirl hits The CW on Monday, October 10th, and we cannot wait to see what comes next for Kara and company!

Briefly: We got our real first look at Ash vs. Evil Dead‘s upcoming second season in the too-gory-for-SDCC trailer released last month, and Starz today has debuted another look at what is sure to be one of the best series’ of the Fall.

This time around, that look comes in the form of a two-minute feature that tells us a little of what we can expect this time around, while also featuring some sweet, sweet interviews with cast and executives.

The second season roars back into action with Ash leaving his beloved Jacksonville and returning to his hometown of Elk Grove, Michigan. There, he confronts Ruby. The former enemies have to form an uneasy alliance as Elk Grove soon becomes the nucleus of evil.

Take a look at the video below, and let us know if you’re excited for the season!

Briefly: Yeah, I’m excited to replay this one.

Dear Esther is pretty damned old (the original version released on 2008) and it’s certainly not for everyone (I’ve heard many individuals argue that Dear Esther isn’t really a ‘game’ at all), but the classic The Chinese Room title is now making the jump over to two new consoles.

Dear Esther: The Landmark Edition will hit PS4 and Xbox One this September, and will include “first-hand insight on never-before-heard details, and provides a fresh perspective on the game’s development and legacy”.

“Abandoning traditional gameplay for a pure story-driven experience, Dear Esther fuses its beautiful environments with a breathtaking soundtrack to tell a powerful story of love, loss, guilt and redemption.”

It’s quite the experience, and a fairly short one at that. I’d implore anyone who hasn’t experienced the title to give it a shot. Dear Esther: The Landmark Edition will cost a cool $9.99.

Briefly: The American Horror Story teasers have always been notoriously mysterious, but we’ve also always known what each season would be about long, long before its eventual premiere.

Following the ‘themes’ teaser from last week, FX has just launched a new teaser reminiscent of Children of the Corn. It’s classically creepy, but at this point I don’t think that each new teaser is exciting me any further for the return of the series, as we still have no idea what the damned thing is about.

In any case, take a look at the teaser below, and let us know what you hope to see this season!

Briefly: This one… kind of looks like a bad-ass CW series.

The first trailer for the we-forgot-this-was-being-made Max Steel film has finally hit the web, and aside from it being very action heavy, it actually looks kind of cool.

Max Steel is an in-depth “origin” story packed with captivating characters and fast-paced action. The plot chronicles the adventures of Max McGrath and his mother have just moved back to Copper Canyon, the town in which Max’s scientist father died in a mysterious accident shortly after Max was born. As Max adjusts to his new school, things get complicated when his body starts to generate strange energy flare-ups that he can’t control.

At first a confusing mix of inconvenient and exhilarating, this unpredictable power eventually grows too intense for Max to handle, causing him to distance himself from those around him including the girl he likes, Sofia. Eventually the energy pushes him to the verge of fatal combustion. In the nick of time, a techno-organic extraterrestrial named Steel, who has been secretly monitoring Max’s progress, saves him just before he loses consciousness. The two discover that when joined together they can control the energy and harness it into superhuman strength – and that when apart, neither can survive for long.

As these two unlikely friends learn to accept their connected fates, they begin to uncover secrets surrounding the death of Max’s father. As they dig deeper, they soon find themselves hunted by an unforeseen enemy bent on capturing Max and Steel for a sinister agenda of destruction. Uncertain who to trust, they will have to work together to find the truth, and fight the mysterious forces threatening our world.

The film is set to release on October 21st, so take a look at the trailer below, and let us know what you think!

Briefly: Anyone else weirdly excited for this one and have no idea why? No? Just me?

Lionsgate has just debuted two new TV spots for next month’s Blair Witch, and they’re freaky as hell. One of the videos even has a cool 360-degree option, which is certainly a feature that I hope more promotional videos utilize in the future.

In the movie, a group of college students venture into the Black Hills Forest in Maryland to uncover the mysteries surrounding the disappearance of James’ sister who many believe is connected to the legend of the Blair Witch. At first the group is hopeful, especially when a pair of locals offer to act as guides through the dark and winding woods, but as the endless night wears on, the group is visited by a menacing presence. Slowly, they begin to realize the legend is all too real and more sinister than they could have imagined.

Blair Witch hits theatres on September 16th, and we can’t wait to check it out. Watch the spots below, and be sure to let us know if you’re excited!

Briefly: This is going to be wonderful.

Jean-Claude Van Damme is always at his best when he’s playing himself (JCVD is probably one of our favourite movies of all time), and we were so excited to learn that he’d be playing an alternate version of himself in Amazon’s pilot for Jean-Claude Van Johnson.

In the pilot, Van Damme ‘comes out of retirement to put on once again the mantle of his alter-ego, undercover private contractor Jean-Claude Van Johnson. “Johnson’s” cover as the lead role in a re-imagined action film version of “Huckleberry Finn” lands him right back in the midst of the danger he secretly always craves–but most importantly, back in the orbit of Vanessa, his fellow operative and the woman he loves.’

This is just a pilot for now, which you can actually see right here, right now, but every single person reading this should go ahead and vote for it, so we can ensure that Van Johnson becomes a full series (with hopefully some super action friends in tow for their own cameos).

Briefly: I don’t know how this one slipped under my radar for so long, but Sully looks fantastic.

A new IMAX trailer for the film, which was apparently shot almost entirely on IMAX cameras, has just hit the web, and is a tense as hell look at the anticipated film, which also features an interview segment with cast and crew.

Seriously though, this trailer is intense, and I can’t wait to see the insane-looking Hudson River scene on the big big screen.

On January 15, 2009, the world witnessed the “Miracle on the Hudson” when Captain “Sully” Sullenberger (Hanks) glided his disabled plane onto the frigid waters of the Hudson River, saving the lives of all 155 aboard. However, even as Sully was being heralded by the public and the media for his unprecedented feat of aviation skill, an investigation was unfolding that threatened to destroy his reputation and his career.

Take a look at the trailer below, and let us know what you think! Sully hits theatres on September 9th!

Briefly: The American Horror Story teasers have always been notoriously mysterious, but we’ve also always known what each season would be about long, long before its eventual premiere.

FX has just launched another teaser for the anticipated, which takes us through the overarching theme for each of the five seasons that we’ve seen thus far. When season 6 hits… it flashes a bunch of random shit that’s really hard to make any sense of.

It’s certainly driving the hype, in any case, wouldn’t you say?

Take a look at the teaser below, and let us know what you hope to see this season!

Briefly: It’s almost, finally here.

Destiny‘s next, long awaited and highly anticipated expansion, Rise of Iron, is set to debut on Xbox One and PS4 on September 20th, and today at Gamescom, Activision debuted a new 8+ minute ViDoc detailing essentially everything new that’s coming to the game next month.

In the video you’ll see the new raid, new strike, all of the plentiful new customization options, and much more. If you’re still a fan of the game, or are looking to jump back into it, this video should get you sufficiently excited.

Take a look at the ViDoc below, and be sure to let us know if you’ll be jumping on Rise of Iron on September 20th!

Briefly: Warner Bros. debuted our first look at the face of Bill Skarsgard’s terrifying new Pennywise last month, and tonight we’re going to have some insane nightmares based on this first look at the full costume.

Entertainment Weekly has debuted the image, which was designed by Emmy-winning costume designer Janie Bryant (of Mad Men fame), who noted that the costume was developed using themes from multiple bygone eras, including Medieval, Renaissance, Elizabethan, and Victorian.

I never really understood the whole “fear of clowns” thing, and as someone who was born in 1990, I certainly missed out on the It train until I was much older and the mini-series was mostly just cheesy looking.

This image, however, is ridiculously scary.

The source interview with Bryant digs into some of the inspirations of the costume, as well as the stark differences in age between Skarsgard and original Pennywise Tim Curry.

For now, take a look at the image below, let us know what you think, and stay tuned for more It news.

Briefly: In the short week since Hello Games’ highly anticipated No Man’s Sky hit store shelves, it’s quickly become one of the most talked about, loved, and hated properties across the entire internet.

Hello Games’ lead Sean Murray said that he expected the game to be divisive, but I don’t know it’d have been possible to guess just how divisive it’s become. Our own Emily is in love with the game, and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying my time in the universe thus far. That said, Reddit is filled with countless links and breakdowns explaining all of the ways that NMS disappoints, and all of the promises that Hello Games’ have broken along the way.

No Man’s Sky was always a game that was set to receive a myriad of updates, as Murray wants the game to be viewed similar to Minecraft or Don’t Starve in that manner. In a new interview with DailyStar, Murray notes that he was “perhaps naive” for thinking that all of No Man’s Sky‘s DLC would be free.

While the next update will add “the ability to build bases and own giant space freighters”, Murray and company are already looking forward, and on the topic of paid DLC, he noted that “Maybe in the future there’s some reason why we just couldn’t possibly afford to do a certain feature without charging for it”.

The interview goes on about the possibility about seeing the game on Xbox One, how the PS4 Neo could change the experience entirely, and more, and it’s definitely worth a read.

Are you enjoying your time in No Man’s Sky‘s expansive universe? Be sure to sound out in the comments below.

Briefly: Yeah, pretty much the entire internet has been beyond excited for the Men In Black / Jump Street crossover film that was first discovered way back when during the Sony email leaks.

According to Jump Street star Jonah Hill, that crossover is unlikely to ever happen.

In an interview with The Toronto Star, Hill notes that “It’s too complicated. They’re trying to make all the deals, but it’s kind of impossible with all the Men in Black stuff. The Jump Street films were so fun to make and the whole joke of them was they were making fun of remakes and sequels and reboots and then now it’s become a giant sequel, reboot. It’s almost become what we were making fun of and it’s hard to maintain that joke when it’s so high stakes.”

So… it’s not completely dead, but it’s probably completely dead.

Way to destroy our dreams, Jonah.

Would you be down for a Men in Black / Jump Street crossover?

Briefly: It was rumoured forever before finally being made official back in June.

Today, 2K Games gives us another quick look at next month’s Bioshock: The Collection, which hits Xbox One, PS4, and PC on September 13th for a cool $59.99.

Each title (Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Bioshock Infinite) has been remastered in full 1080p (and they look pretty slick), and also include all of the single player DLC, and “a never-before-seen video series, “Director’s Commentary: Imagining BioShock.”

As a huge (yuge) fan of the series who would buy almost anything that has a Bioshock logo on it, you better believe I’m excited for this one. I haven’t played through Bioshock Infinite since it first released, and I think I’m about due to head through that campaign once again.

2K today debuted a brand new trailer for the title, which you can take a look at below. Again, be sure to let us know if you’ll be picking it up!

Briefly: Well this looks… actually cool.

FOX today debuted an excellent sneak peek at its upcoming exorcist series, which features a bunch of neat footage as well as interviews with cast and crew.

Widely regarded as the greatest horror movie ever made, The Exorcist broke box office records and terrified audiences around the world. Briefly: Following the first poster for the film, which debuted yesterday, Screen Gems has just released the very first teaser trailer for its anticipated Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.

The trailer really drives home the fact that Alice will need to go back to where everything began to finish things off. The Red Queen is present in the trailer, and lets Alice know that she’ll need to return to the centre of the hive, and we also see that crazy laser room from the first film.

Picking up immediately after the events in RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION, humanity is on its last legs after Alice is betrayed by Wesker in Washington D.C. As the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead hordes, Alice must return to where the nightmare began – Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse.

In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between losing her superhuman abilities and Umbrella’s impending attack, this will be Alice’s most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.

Take a look at the trailer below, and let us know what you think! Resident Evil: The Final Chapter hits theatres on January 27th!

Briefly: No Man’s Sky is finally, finally here.

The years in the making, incredibly ambitious, and unbelievably anticipated space exploration sandbox releases tonight, and today, following a massive patch that all but targets early player’s gripes with the hot new title, Hello Games’ Sean Murray took to the game’s official blog to ‘splain a few things.

I’ve really enjoyed the transparency that Murray and company have kept with fans over the course of the game’s development, and today’s blog post is no different. Murray touchingly notes that five years ago, when the first lines of code for this ambitions project were written, he had “such a clear picture in my mind of an emotion I wanted you to feel. To wander around an alien planet, and to feel you had discovered it.”

Now, the game is here, and “the game looks and plays just as we aimed to.”

A burning question that many gamers (who apparently aren’t too keen on watching the hours of gameplay videos that have been posted throughout the game’s development) is, well, what exactly do you do in the game? Here’s what Murray notes that No Man’s Sky definitely is:

-Exploring a universe of pretty procedurally generated worlds, with beautiful creatures
-Trading with NPCs
-Combat against robots/mechs and cool space battles
-Survival/crafting in a universe sized sandbox
-An awesome procedural soundtrack from my genuine favourite band (check the NMS album out here)
-For one small moment, you might feel like you’ve stepped into a sci-fi book cover

There’s plenty of additional interesting, fascinating notes on the game and its development in the official blog post, but one of the the most stand-out comments (and another transparent thought from Murray) is that the team knows that this won’t be a game for everyone, stating that “This game might not be for everyone, I expect it to be super divisive, but I’m sat here watching playtesters right now who weren’t supposed to be in, but just wanted to play and chill out. I can’t wait for you to experience that for yourselves.”

That said, as reviews start to hit, and scores start to vary, it’s all going to be dependent on the personal experiences and tastes of the player. A game like this has never existed before; No Man’s Sky is literally its own universe, for you to explore and do whatever you want in, and I can’t imagine how tough it will be to form an opinion on that.

For me? When the game was first announced, I saw a title that looked cool, but I had no idea why I would play it. As more and more videos debuted, my excitement for No Man’s Sky grew and grew, and on the eve of release I realize that this game looks like everything a young me wanted to do in some facet: explore, wonder what lay beyond what the eye can see, and have curiosity guide me to my next destination.

Will you be playing? Sound out in the comments below!

Briefly: Following that phenomenal sizzle reel that Netflix released last month at SDCC, the company has finally debuted the key art for its next highly anticipated Marvel series, Luke Cage.

We’re still way too far off from the September 30th premiere, which really, really can’t come close enough, but… at least we can re-watch Stranger Things a few more times before this one finally releases?

After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) becomes a fugitive who attempts to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But soon he is pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city – forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.

Take a look at the art below, and be sure to let us know if you’re excited for this one.

Briefly: Did anyone else forget that this was even happening?

Screen Gems today debuted the very first poster for its upcoming Resident Evil: The Final Chapter in advance of the first trailer releasing online tomorrow.

The poster’s tagline notes that ‘This January evil comes home’, as this apparently final film will see Alice return to Raccoon City in order to finish things things off.

Briefly: The first clip from this month’s anticipated Seth Rogen animated comedy Sausage Party has just hit the web.

Naturally, the clip is about as subtle as the red-band trailer is, and features way too many not-at-all subtle wiener in bun jokes than I can handle.

But, the movie actually looks pretty hilarious.

Sausage Party tells the story of one sausage setting out on a quest to discover the truth about his existence. After falling out of a shopping cart, our hero sausage and his new friends embark on a perilous journey through the supermarket to get back to their aisles before the Fourth of July sale.

Take a look at the clip below, and let us know if you’re looking forward to the film.

Briefly: Well this didn’t take long.

After being announced and touted as an Xbox console exclusive, developer Playdead has revealed that their critically acclaimed Limbo follow-up, Inside, is making its way over to PS4.

The announcement comes via an accolades trailer on the official Playstation YouTube channel, which concludes with the reveal that Inside will launch on the console on August 23rd.

We can’t freaking wait.

Take a look at that accolades trailer below and remind yourself of just how phenomenal this game is, and let us know if you’re excited to play!

Briefly: We’re still about three months away from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them even hitting theatres, and Warner Bros. has already revealed just when we’ll be seeing the sequel.

The first film hits theatres on November 18th, while the second will hit theatres just shy of two years later, on November 16th, 2016.

Rowling will take care of the screenplay, and Potter regular David Yates will return for the sequel as well.

In any case, it’s pretty clear that once again the world has Potter fever; The Cursed Child has just released and according to Scholastic has already sold over two million copies, there are entire Harry Potter theme parks that are drawing record crowds, and the light rumours of a Harry Potter mobile game in the style of Pokemon Go are setting the internet on fire.

Maybe it’s time for a re-read, don’t you think?

Are you looking forward to Fantastic Beasts? Be sure to let us know in the comments below.

Briefly: We’ve been waiting for this one for what seems like forever (though it was actually just revealed in December of 2015), but following that fantastic first trailer from SDCC, the first chapter in the anticipated series is now available.

This first chapter is called Realm of Shadowsand the game is available for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Windows, OS X, iOS, and Android, so if you’re a Batman fan at all, even if you’re not a gamer, you have no reason to miss out on this one.

“Creating an entirely original story surrounding the man behind the mask and challenging players to take on the role of Bruce Wayne just as much as the mythic Batman has resulted in one of our most sophisticated Telltale series yet,” said Kevin Bruner, CEO, Co-Founder of Telltale Games. “Our game will explore all aspects of Bruce’s life, from his tense encounters in public with Gotham City’s most notorious criminals by day, to his thrilling chases across the rooftops at night, players will think twice about their choices and consequences in a city that’s always watching the actions of its most famous billionaire.”

“Telltale Games is renowned for its unique style of interactive storytelling, which is a great match for the incredibly iconic character of Batman,” said David Haddad, President, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “We are excited to further expand our partnership with Telltale to bring fans an entirely new way to experience the many layers of Bruce Wayne’s story.”

You’re looking at a cool $29.99 for the season pass, and you should hear our thoughts on the title soon on the Geekscape Games podcast. Take a look at the game’s trailer below, and be sure to let us know if you’ll be playing this one!

Briefly: After weeks of prelude episodes, and the first trailer showing off the series’ fantastic artwork back at SDCC, the first episode of Transformers: Combiner Wars is finally here.

In the series, the Autobots and Decepticons have disbanded and returned to Cybertron. With the days of Optimus Prime and Megatron over, Cybertron is now ruled by a triumvirate. However, an ancient technology has enabled a new threat, the power for multiple Transformers to combine into one massive, dangerous form: Combiners. Who will stand-up to this threat to ensure that the fragile peace that was 4 million years in the making remains?

You can watch the first episode from the US on Go90 right here (this one’s not embeddable, I’m afraid), while international users will soon be able to watch the series on Sohu in China and on Vimeo and YouTube in the rest of the world.

It’s pretty clear that this is a darker Transformers than we’ve seen in some time… this thing is violent, so if you’re planning to watch it with a small child, you may want to rethink that.

Briefly: The bad video game movie taste left in Jake Gyllenhaal’s mouth after Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time has apparently, finally subsided.

Ubisoft has just revealed that Gyllenhaal, along with Crimson Peak star Jessica Chastain, will star in the in-development adaptation of Tom Clancy’s The Division.

Nine Stories Productions and Freckle Films are developing the film with Ubisoft. In the game, “in the wake of a devastating pandemic that sweeps through New York City, basic services fail one by one, and without access to food or water, the city quickly descends into chaos. As an agent of The Division, you’ll specialize, modify, and level up your gear, weapons, and skills to take back New York on your own terms.”

“We are excited to collaborate with Jessica and Jake, two of Hollywood’s most talented actors and perfect creative collaborators to help bring Tom Clancy’s The Division™ to the big screen,” said Gerard Guillemot, Chief Executive Officer, Ubisoft Motion Pictures. “Attaching Jake and Jessica is part of our development philosophy of working closely with top talent from the earliest stages to collaborate on a high quality film,” added Matt Phelps, Vice President, Ubisoft Motion Pictures.

Is this something you’ll be buying a ticket for? Or have too many video game movies simply left a bad taste in your mouth?

Briefly: We’re still a few months away from Supergirl‘s anticipated second season premiere (on it’s new home on The CW), and today the network debuted our very first look at Teen Wolf‘s Tyler Hoechlin as Superman.

We still have no idea just how Superman will incorporate into the series, or how much he’ll be hanging around (and limiting our time with Kara), but in any case, we cannot wait for this one to come back to television.

Take a look at the first-look image below, and be sure to let us know if you’re looking forward to Supergirl‘s return.
