Briefly: Damn this movie looks awesome.

Warner Bros. has debuted a brand new, chock-full of new footage trailer for this June’s Wonder Woman, and it’s all about Dianna’s origins.

The trailer takes us through Dianna’s childhood on Themyscira, her meeting of Chris Pine’s character, some of their early adventures, a few action set pieces, and even some comedy. It’s a great new look at the DCCU’s most anticipated film yet, and it certainly excites me further for the fantastic looking film.

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Briefly: This one… kind of looks like a bad-ass CW series.

The first trailer for the we-forgot-this-was-being-made Max Steel film has finally hit the web, and aside from it being very action heavy, it actually looks kind of cool.

Max Steel is an in-depth “origin” story packed with captivating characters and fast-paced action. The plot chronicles the adventures of Max McGrath and his mother have just moved back to Copper Canyon, the town in which Max’s scientist father died in a mysterious accident shortly after Max was born. As Max adjusts to his new school, things get complicated when his body starts to generate strange energy flare-ups that he can’t control.

At first a confusing mix of inconvenient and exhilarating, this unpredictable power eventually grows too intense for Max to handle, causing him to distance himself from those around him including the girl he likes, Sofia. Eventually the energy pushes him to the verge of fatal combustion. In the nick of time, a techno-organic extraterrestrial named Steel, who has been secretly monitoring Max’s progress, saves him just before he loses consciousness. The two discover that when joined together they can control the energy and harness it into superhuman strength – and that when apart, neither can survive for long.

As these two unlikely friends learn to accept their connected fates, they begin to uncover secrets surrounding the death of Max’s father. As they dig deeper, they soon find themselves hunted by an unforeseen enemy bent on capturing Max and Steel for a sinister agenda of destruction. Uncertain who to trust, they will have to work together to find the truth, and fight the mysterious forces threatening our world.

The film is set to release on October 21st, so take a look at the trailer below, and let us know what you think!

Briefly: EA has put Battlefield 3 up for grabs, free on Origin until June 3, 2014. With their “On the House ” program, EA is trying to get in on the action that Sony and Microsoft already have with their free games programs already.

With Plants Vs. Zombies the only other free game in EA’s program right now, they have a lot of catching up to do if they want to seem like a good deal as the competitors are right now. Since there is no set schedule as to when these free games will come, it’s anyone’s guess how frequent they will be. Still, you really can’t complain about free games.

Battlefield

In regular EA fashion, when a giant problem occurs they tried to hide it as much as possible. For the last 24hours whenever an Origin customer would purchase a game, they would NOT receive a activation key and also the charge on the credit card will not settle. Instead of posting a giant warning on the front page of Origin, they took the OPTIMAL route and posted a small thread on their forums.

-At the moment, you can still make purchases on all store fronts (store.origin.com, the Origin client,
and in-game stores), however NO confirmation emails will be sent out (including those containing redemption
codes) and certain games will not be available in your My Games list until this issue is resolved.
– Payments made with credit cards will be authorized but not settled.
– Payments made with a direct payment method such as Paypal will be processed as soon as your order is received.
– Once we have fixed the issue, all goods purchased during this time will be delivered.
– Orders for physical good are also on hold during this period.

Hopefully it will be resolved soon, but in the mean time I suggest you do not make any purchases on the Origin or EA system.
