E3 attendees (those lucky jerks) will have the chance to play Batman: Arkham Origins on the show floor tomorrow, but for everyone else, Warner Bros. Interactive has revealed a new gameplay trailer for the title.

The preview features a ton of awesome in-game footage, and should quell most worries that gamers had about the title. Arkham Origins looks awesome, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

Watch the trailer below, and let us know what you think! Batman: Arkham Origins hits stores this Fall!

Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline occurring several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous villains and assassins, the game showcases a young, raw, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, witness identities being formed and key relationships being forged.

We’re just a few days away from the first trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, and Warner Bros. has just revealed the first poster for the film.

It’s a simple image, and the tiny Hobbit in its centre really helps establish just how large the film is set to be. Benedict Cumberbatch’s Smaug should be an incredible character, and I can’t wait to see this story continue.

Take a look at the poster below, and let us know what you think! The film’s first trailer is set to release this Tuesday, and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug releases on December 13th!

It’s almost time to head to the theatre for Man of Steel, and Warner Bros. is really pushing all of the marketing they can into the film.

A tie-in mobile game will hit iOS and Android devices on June 14th. The game isn’t the prettiest thing this side of Infinity Blade, but the gameplay looks eerily similar to last year’s Batman: Arkham City Lockdown, which was an absolute pleasure to experience. The game’s price has not yet been determined, but I’d expect a cool $2.99. Watch the first trailer below, and get your swiping finger ready.

The studio has also revealed three new banners for the film, which all really focus on the ‘You Are Not Alone’ message we’ve seen in the trailers. The message certainly seems to have a few meanings, as of course, humans were unaware that aliens existed, and Kal-El certainly thought that he was alone in the universe too. Check the banners out below, and let us know what you think! Man of Steel hits theatres on June 14th!

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question ‘Why am I here?’ Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world’s beacon of hope – Superman.

There’s just one more week to wait until Man of Steel finally hits theatres, and today (via Nokia), Warner Bros. released yet another new trailer for the film.

If you can stop watching trailers for the film, I’d implore you to. This preview features plenty of new footage, and it’s simply getting to the point where we’ve seen too much. The movie looks incredible, and I can’t wait to get in line for it, but I don’t have the willpower to not watch every piece of marketing!

Check out the trailer below (if you dare), and let us know what you think! Man of Steel hits theatres on June 14th!

We’re just 12 days away from Man of Steel‘s official release date, and today director Zack Snyder revealed a huge Easter Egg found in the film.

There are spoilers below, so do not read further if you want to keep the Easter Egg a surprise!

When speaking to Omelette, Snyder stated:

“The Wayne Enterprises logo is on a satellite that Zod destroys.”

When asked if we’d be seeing Bruce Wayne or Batman in the inevitable Man of Steel 2, he responded:

“I don’t know. Everything is interesting at this point. And don’t forget that Lex is out there, doing who knows what…”

So there you have it. It isn’t as cool as another DC character showing up in the film, but it’s confirmation that Metropolis and the world of Man of Steel exists in a larger cinematic universe for DC.

What do you think of the Easter Egg? Are you looking forward to the film? Sound out below!

With just twelve days to go until Man of Steel‘s highly anticipated release, Warner Bros. has released an awesome 13-minute featurette for the film.

The lengthy video interviews a multitude of cast and crew members about the film, and the entirely new world they set out to create. It’s a fantastic watch, and an eye opening one: it’s easy to see that everyone involved shares a great love for this character, and I’m sure they did everything in their power to do Superman justice.

Take a look at the featurette below, and let us know if you’re looking forward to the film! Man of Steel hits theatres on June 14th!

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Cavill) is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question – Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Costner), Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as “Superman,” not only to shine as the world’s last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves.

If you thought that there were already enough TV spots for Warner Bros. Man of Steel… you were wrong.

I’m actually starting to feel like it’s a little much. Each and every preview for the film has been fantastic, but it really seems as though they’ve shown a lot of the movie, and I’d prefer some surprises left for the feature!

If you’re not sick of them yet, take a look at the new previews below. Let us know how much you’re looking forward to the movie, and whether or not this plethora of marketing is too much! Man of Steel hits theatres on June 14th!

When the world finds out what you can do… It’s going to change everything.

It seems as though it was just yesterday that Warner Bros. released a new TV spot for Man of Steel (actually, it was). Now, less than 24 hours later, another preview has debuted online. The new spot again features new footage, and like every single other trailer/spot for the film, it looks incredible.

Watch the seventh TV spot for Man of Steel below, and let us know if you’re excited!

Update: Well that was fast. Just a few hours after the last spot, Warner Bros. releases another. At this rate, we’ll have seen the whole movie before it comes out!

Following the incredible new trailer from earlier this week, Warner Bros. has debuted a new TV spot for Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel. The spot features some new footage (man, have we seen a lot of this movie), and reveals some very cool (yet slightly spoilery) points of the film.

Take a look at the spot below, and let us know what you think! Man of Steel soars into theatres on June 14th!

Following the full trailer from just a few days ago, Warner Bros. Interactive has released a new teaser image for the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins. The image reveals nothing new about the game, but does spotlight the legions of villains you’re set to face in the game.

Are you looking forward to Arkham Origins, or are you on the fence since it isn’t being developed by Rocksteady? Take a look at the image below, and let us know what you think!

Is it just me, or has Man of Steel had some of the most impressive marketing in recent memory?

Warner Bros. has just released the final trailer for what will arguably be this Summer’s biggest film. The preview is titled ‘Fate of Your Planet’, and really spotlights Zod and everything he’s willing to do to get what he wants. The video is filled to the brim with intense new footage, and may just be one of the coolest movie trailers I’ve ever seen.

Don’t take my word for it. Watch the trailer below, and let us know how awesome it is! Man of Steel hits theatres on June 14th!

Warner Bros. has just released the first TV spot for Guillermo Del Toro’s highly anticipated Pacific Rim. Clocking in at just over 30 seconds, the spot manages to squeeze in a bunch of new footage AND excite the hell out of me. The movie looks fantastic, and coming from Del Toro, I’m sure we won’t be disappointed.

Check out the spot below, and let us know how excited you are!

When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes – a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi) – who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.

Just when you thought we couldn’t possibly see another poster for Man of Steel, Warner Bros. releases one more! The image puts the spotlight on Russel Crowe’s Jor-El, and is actually the first character poster for the film. I’d expect to see more of these images before Man of Steel‘s release on June 14th.

Take a look at the image below, and let us know what you think of Jor-El’s new look!

Remember that terrible rumour from April stating that series regular Kevin Conroy wouldn’t be returning to voice Batman in Batman: Arkham Origins, and that Warner Bros. Interactive was instead looking for younger talent for this Arkham prequel?

Well… it wasn’t true.

During this weekend’s Dallas Comic Con, Conroy confirmed his involvement in the new title, and the fact that he’s been working on it for more than nine months. Conroy certainly sounds excited for the project, as outlined in the conference video below (the Arkham Origins talk opens the Q&A, though the whole presentation is worth the watch)!

We know that a lot of you were extremely disappointed when the rumour began to make its rounds. Are you feeling better about the game now that you know of Conroy’s involvement?

Batman: Arkham Origins releases on October 25th!

Update: Things are getting a little confusing here. Despite Conroy confirming his involvement in the game, Warner Bros. Interactive today announced that Roger Craig Smith (Ezio in Assassin’s Creed, Chris Redfield in Resident Evil) will portray Batman in Arkham Origins. It was also revealed that Troy Baker (Booker DeWitt in the amazing Bioshock Infinite) will voice the Joker.

Now, what does this mean? Could Batman: Arkham Origins have us jumping through time and playing as both an older and younger Batman? Could Conroy be playing a different character entirely? Maybe Conroy was confused, and actually talking about Rocksteady’s upcoming, unannounced title?

Let us know what you think of the new casting, and watch a new trailer for the game below!

The Summer movie season has officially kicked off: Iron Man 3 was okay, Star Trek Into Darkness was incredible, and Man of Steel is now less than a month away.

Wal Mart has released a new featurette for Supes return to the big screen, featuring plenty of cast and crew interviews to get you excited for the film’s release. Two awesome new banners for the film have also been unveiled, showing Kal El and Zod angrily and epically flying towards each other.

Take a look at all the new marketing below, and let us know how much you’re looking forward to Man of Steel!

Warner Bros. Interactive has announced Scribblenauts: Unmasked, combining 5th Cell’s popular puzzle franchise with the popular heroes and villains of the DC Comics catalogue. Featuring a wealth of familiar faces and locations such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Gotham City and Metropolis, gamers will finally have control of this world at their fingertips.

Scribblenauts is known for the insane amount of objects that players can generate. If you type out something, chances are it will show up, with your imagination being its only limit. Having that type of control over the DC Universe is sure to make comics fans rejoice, and who knows? Maybe we’ll finally be able to create some resemblance of the fanfics floating in our heads.

What will you make? An evil Batman? A tiny, top hat wearing Grodd? A dancing Oracle? We’ll get our chance when Scribblenauts: Unmasked is released for the Wii U, 3DS and PC this fall.

Interested in learning more about Man of Steel? Norton (yes… antivirus Norton) has just released three new featurettes for the film. Don’t feed them after midnight. Gremlins are coming back!

After hearing Stone-Cold Steve Austin on a recent episode of Geekscape claiming that he was working on a new Gremlins I thought….yeah right!

Bloody Disgusting just got the official word that a Gremlins reboot is moving forward at Warner Bros., and that Seth Grahame-Smith (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) is attached to produce the film along with David Katzenberg.

Gremlins has hit that perfect sweet spot where it has been long enough since its release that you either remember it and want to see a new take, or you belong to an entirely new generation that simply hasn’t had the pleasure of experiencing the original film.

Gremlins came out in 1984 and was (and remains) wonderful to watch. I’m sincerely looking forward to this remake, and can’t wait to see more from the project.

Just when we thought we couldn’t possibly see more marketing for the film (especially after seeing two new posters just yesterday), Warner Bros. has released two new TV spots and another new one-sheet for the highly anticipated Man of Steel.

Warner Bros. Interactive today released a nice new batch of screenshots for their upcoming, highly anticipated prequel, Batman: Arkham Origins. The shots look fantastic, but fail to really reveal anything that we didn’t already know about the game. In any case, it looks like the title is coming together quite nicely, and it better be, as October is just six months away.

In other news, it looks like Batman may be getting a new set of pipes. Kotaku has learned (via South Africa’s NAG Magazine) that Warner Bros. Montreal has decided to look for younger talent to voice the Dark Knight, as “the game features Batman in his early years.” It makes sense, but it’s still sad news for us fans. The news hasn’t been confirmed by either Conroy or Warner Bros. however, so there’s always the chance that it’s not true (fingers crossed).

Check out the new stills below, and let us know what you think! Batman: Arkham Origins hits shelves on October 25th!

With the release date for Man Of Steel quickly approaching, rumors about a Justice League movie and a DC Cinematic Universe has been continually growing. The rumors keep coming, while it ultimately comes down to the success of the Zack Snyder film, but the first official word regarding these future projects was given today at DC’s first panel at C2E2. Editor-in-Chief Bob Harras, Editorial Director Bobbie Chase, and the VP Marketing John Cunningham were asked about both a Justice League and Wonder Woman film. Cunningham responded:

“Well, we weren’t going to say anything until Warner Bros. studios allowed us to do it, but since you asked the question. Watch this space. Watch it. It’s coming.

“I think the best thing I can say to all of you is go out and see Superman opening weekend. Drive that box office. Make people sit up and pay attention to what you want. But I think that the movie business works years and years in planning. These decisions are being made, have been made, and we will all know what they are shortly. And I think we will all be happy when that comes down.”

It appears that they’ve already made decisions regarding these projects and are just waiting to give the official green light. With the hype surrounding Man Of Steel, it definitely looks like these projects will finally be moving forward and we’re going to be hearing about them a lot sooner than later.
