DC Films has revealed new ‘Justice League’ concept art on its new, official Facebook page.

The art arrives ahead of the half-hour television special tonight on The CW called ‘DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League’, which will air at 9:30pm ET and will feature a brand-new trailer for Suicide Squad. The special will include a “sneak peak” at the upcoming ‘Wonder Woman’ movie, as well as new details on the upcoming ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’.

I really dislike this concept art a lot. It is just ridiculous that there is any lens flare on it at all, let alone 5. The font is terrible, looks like something that was mocked up via Microsoft Word. Hopefully we see something more promising tonight during the movie special

Also tonight ahead of the movie special will be another one titled ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: Their Time is Now’, which will serve as a primer for those eagerly anticipating The CW’s new ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ series, which is set to premieres January 21, 2016

With the release date for Man Of Steel quickly approaching, rumors about a Justice League movie and a DC Cinematic Universe has been continually growing. The rumors keep coming, while it ultimately comes down to the success of the Zack Snyder film, but the first official word regarding these future projects was given today at DC’s first panel at C2E2. Editor-in-Chief Bob Harras, Editorial Director Bobbie Chase, and the VP Marketing John Cunningham were asked about both a Justice League and Wonder Woman film. Cunningham responded:

“Well, we weren’t going to say anything until Warner Bros. studios allowed us to do it, but since you asked the question. Watch this space. Watch it. It’s coming.

“I think the best thing I can say to all of you is go out and see Superman opening weekend. Drive that box office. Make people sit up and pay attention to what you want. But I think that the movie business works years and years in planning. These decisions are being made, have been made, and we will all know what they are shortly. And I think we will all be happy when that comes down.”

It appears that they’ve already made decisions regarding these projects and are just waiting to give the official green light. With the hype surrounding Man Of Steel, it definitely looks like these projects will finally be moving forward and we’re going to be hearing about them a lot sooner than later.

In the most recent issue of Empire Magazine, director Zack Snyder and his Producer-wife, Deborah Snyder confirm that a Justice League film is dependent on the box office success of this summer’s Man Of Steel. The director also went on to confirm that if the film does do well at the box office and Warner Bros. decides to move forward with the project, he will definitely be asked by the studio to direct.

Snyder didn’t specify whether he would accept the job or not but did show some enthusiasm towards the prospect of creating A DC Cinematic Universe.

“I have a hard time having perspective. But I have to say that it is everything that I could have hoped for. Touch wood that I am not insane, but it feels really good.”

It’s highly likely that Man Of Steel will perform well and there’s definitely a chance that we may get our first official news regarding the planned project at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.
