I’d love to frame and mount every single poster for The Wolverine. The incredible sumi-e art style has impressed me since the very first teaser image, and today’s Jean Grey is just as awesome.

It’s unknown just how prominent Famke Janssen’s role in the film will be, but it has been confirmed that she will appear in a flashback sequence. The actress was a great choice for the Jean Grey character, and I can’t wait to see some new scenes with her.

Take a look at the new poster below, and let us know what you think of it! The Wolverine hits theatres on July 26th!

Fox has just unveiled the first TV spot for The Wolverine. I have to say that I wasn’t overly impressed with the film’s first trailer, but each subsequent preview has proved that this could be one of this Summer’s coolest movies.

We’ve got a little over a month until The Wolverine hits theatres, so I’m sure we’ll see plenty of additional footage before that time comes. Take a look at the spot below, and let us know what you think!

When Peter Dinklage joined the cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past back in February, fans went wild with speculation.

First, many thought Dinklage would portray the classic X-Man, Puck. It was soon revealed however, that he would instead be playing the film’s main antagonist. Speculation immediately shifted to Bolivar Trask, the scientist that would go on to create the infamous Sentinels.

Director Brian Singer recently tweeted a photo all but confirming that Dinklage would portray Trask in the film (just look at that ‘stache). Today, he revealed a new photo that further confirms the rumour. It’s not official until it’s announced of course, but we at least know for sure that Trask Industries will have a role in the film.

Check out Singers just-tweeted photo below, and let us know if you’re looking forward to the film! X-Men: Days of Future Past hits theatres on July 18th, 2014!

Bryan Singer sure loves his twitter.

After posting countless set photos, first looks, and other news, the X-Men: Days of Future Past director has revealed a late casting addition to the project. American Horror Story‘s Evan Peters has joined the film, and will play the ‘swiftest’ mutant around, Quicksilver.

Of course, The Avengers director Joss Whedon recently revealed that Quicksilver (and his sister, Scarlet Witch) would be a part of The Avengers 2. This is bound to cause some confusion among fans, seeing as each project is not only coming from a different team, but a different studio as well. My guess is that we’ll be seeing substantially different versions of Quicksilver between the two films.

Check out Singer’s tweet below, and let us know what you think of the news! X-Men: Days of Future Past hits theatres on July 17th, 2014!

This is a damn cool preview.

We’re barely two months away from the theatrical release of James Mangold’s The Wolverine, and Fox has just released a new trailer for the film. The video features plenty of new footage, and if you’re not sold on the movie yet, this trailer may just turn you around.

The Wolverine hits theatres on July 26th, and stars Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Brian Tee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Rila Fukushima, and plenty more! Take a look at the new trailer below, and let us know what you think!

Bryan Singer is on a roll. Just yesterday he gave us our first look at Peter Dinklage preparing for work on X-Men: Days of Future Past, and today it’s Jennifer Lawrence’s turn. The director has tweeted an image of Lawrence in full Mystique costume, and as always, she’s looking pretty bad-ass. The image is titled “First look: #JenniferLawrence as a vengeful #Mystique”, so it’s probably safe to speculate that she’s pretty unhappy about what happened with Xavier. I guess we’ll find out next Summer.

Back in February it was revealed that Peter Dinklage had joined the cast of Bryan Singer’s anticipated X-Men: Days of Future Past. Early rumours and speculation led many to believe that Dinklage would portray Puck, but it was quickly announced that he would be playing the film’s main antagonist.

Bryan Singer today tweeted an image of himself and Dinklage with the caption “Reviewing tomorrow’s work on the flight back to Montreal with #PeterDinklage”. Dinklage isn’t in costume, but it’s easy to see that he’ll be sporting quite the ‘stache. Take a look at the image below, and let us know who you think he’s playing!

X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer today revealed a new set photo from the film, this time showing off Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and Beast‘s (Nicolas Hoult) clothing from 1973. Little else is revealed in the image, but in any case, these guys look bad ass.

After what seems like years (and years) of rumours, Fox has just announced that 24 is headed back to television.

24: Live Another Day will premiere on the network in Summer 2014, and series star Kiefer Sutherland will again be stepping into the shoes of Jack Bauer. 24 showrunner Howard Gordon is also set to return.

Sutherland sounds beyond excited to return to the role, stating that “The response to ‘24’ is unlike anything I have ever experienced as an actor before. To have the chance to reunite with the character, Jack Bauer, is like finding a lost friend. The story ideas from Howard Gordon are exciting and fresh, and will not disappoint. Great thanks to 20th Century Fox Television, Imagine Television and the FOX network for this opportunity. Make no mistake, my goal is to knock your socks off. See you soon.”

Are you excited? I never watched 24, but have heard nothing but good things about it (at least in its earlier seasons). Is it time to bite the bullet and give it a viewing?

PRESS RELEASE: FOX has ordered 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY, a thrilling new tent-pole event series set to restart the clock on the groundbreaking and Emmy Award-winning drama franchise starring Kiefer Sutherland. Produced by 20th Century Fox Television, Imagine Television and Howard Gordon’s Teakwood Lane Productions, 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY will make its historic debut in the summer of 2014 on FOX.

The announcement was made this morning by Kevin Reilly, Chairman, Fox Broadcasting Company; Dana Walden and Gary Newman, Chairmen, Twentieth Century Fox Television; and Brian Grazer, Chairman, Imagine Entertainment.

The high-octane saga will reunite showrunner Howard Gordon with Sutherland and retain the real-time, pulse-pounding, fast-paced format with split screens and complex interweaving storylines, with 12 episodes representing 24 hours. The suspenseful event series once again follows the exploits of heroic agent JACK BAUER (Sutherland), who will resume his story several years following the events of the final season.

“It’s great to have Jack back. ‘24’ redefined the drama genre, and as we reimagine the television miniseries, this iconic show will again break new ground for the network,” said Reilly. “The series remains a global sensation, and everyone at FOX is thrilled to be back at work with Kiefer, Howard and the incredibly creative ‘24’ team.”

“When Howard came to us saying he had an idea for a new chapter of ‘24,’ he quite simply had us at ‘hello,’” remarked 20th Century Fox Television Chairmen Gary Newman and Dana Walden. “’24’ is a signature series for this studio, beloved by critics and audiences worldwide. Howard’s idea to revive the franchise as an event series couldn’t be timelier, and with the brilliant Kiefer Sutherland on board to reprise his iconic role, we can’t wait to get started.”

Added Imagine Television Chairman Brian Grazer, “I’m both excited and proud that Howard, Kiefer, and I, along with ours partners at 20th and Fox, have this new opportunity to give ‘24’ fans what they’ve been asking for – more Jack Bauer. It’s been my experience that people love Jack Bauer because he’s a guy who cuts through the red tape and gets the hardest things done. I am certain 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY will again have a huge impact on our culture.”

“The response to ‘24’ is unlike anything I have ever experienced as an actor before,” noted Sutherland. “To have the chance to reunite with the character, Jack Bauer, is like finding a lost friend. The story ideas from Howard Gordon are exciting and fresh, and will not disappoint. Great thanks to 20th Century Fox Television, Imagine Television and the FOX network for this opportunity. Make no mistake, my goal is to knock your socks off. See you soon.”

“Jack Bauer has always been an exciting, thrilling character, and I confess that I’ve missed him. I think the audience has too,” said executive producer Howard Gordon who served as showrunner for most of the series’ run and won multiple Emmy Awards for his work. “The character has evolved through the years, and this new and exciting event series format is perfect to tell the next chapter of his story and continue to reflect how the world is changing. Fans can rest assured that the Jack they know and love will be back.”

Originally premiering November 6, 2001, ‘24’ was nominated for a total of 73 Emmy Awards, winning for Outstanding Drama Series in 2006. Over eight seasons, Kiefer Sutherland garnered seven Emmy Award nominations and one win for Outstanding Lead Actor – Drama Series. While the series gained global recognition, Sutherland’s portrayal of the legendary character penetrated the American psyche like no other dramatic television character to become part of the cultural lexicon.

24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY is a production of 20th Century Fox Television and Imagine Television in association with Teakwood Lane Productions. Howard Gordon, Brian Grazer and Kiefer Sutherland will executive produce, along with an additional team to be announced. The original series, which had its last American broadcast on May 24, 2010, was created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran.

Director Josh Trank may be looking re-unite with Chronicle star Michael B. Jordan for his upcoming Fantastic Four reboot. Website The Wrap reports that the actor may be in talks to play the role of Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch in the film. While 20th Century Fox has declined to comment on this news, “numerous individuals” close to the production have reportedly told the site that the actor has had multiple meetings with the studio and has a good relationship with the director from their work on Chronicle.

Of course there’s going to be an issue with fans regarding the actors skin color, but wouldn’t you rather have talent in a role rather than worry about the character being “white in the comics”? This isn’t official casting news and is most likely just an option that Fox are considering at the moment but Jordan is actually an excellent actor that could bring an fresh and interesting new spin on the character. Production is set to begin on the film in a few months, so we should expect some official casting news to get revealed very soon.

Production is set to begin in June on Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four, but we’ve yet to hear about any casting news for the 20th Century Fox film. However, we now have the first news regarding someone being up for a role in the film. Deadline reports that Girls star Allison Williams is on a short list for the upcoming reboot of Marvel’s first family.

“I’ve heard Williams is also on the short for the Fantastic Four reboot, which is in the very early talking stage.”

While the site doesn’t specify what role the actress is up for, it is more than likely that she is being considered for the role of Sue Storm/Invisible Woman. This doesn’t mean she is in negotiations for the role, just that she is currently being considered. If production is really set to begin in June, we should expect to start hearing some solid casting news regarding the project very soon.

While it wasn’t the best of the series, Live Free Or Die Hard did perform well at the box office and of course Fox is going to go after another installment in the Die Hard franchise. Total Film report that Ben Trebilcook has been brought on to pen a treatment for the film, which is currently titled Die Hardest (which may not be the final title), which will reportedly see the story begin in New York before moving to Tokyo.

Trebilcook, who actually wrote an earlier version of the fourth Die Hard film, believes that his take on the franchise will please fans and “is extremely faithful to the franchise and characters and is a natural progression. It’s also a very plausible storyline.” He also went on to state “[There’s] the possibility producers might go back and find some other source material to base the next one on, like they did with the first and second. Mine though, I feel it could be the Rocky Balboa of the Die Hard franchise.” The film is still in early stages of production and no release date has been set yet.

While speaking with Collider to promote the upcoming season of AMC’s Mad Men, actress January Jones has confirmed that she will be in the group that will not returning for Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days Of Future Past. So, that currently means that neither Azazel nor Emma Frost will be at Magneto’s side in the upcoming “inbetweequel”. There’s no word at the moment if we will see Zoe Kravitz or Alex Gonzalez return as Angel and Riptide, but at the moment it seems that Mystique will be Erik’s only returning companion. Could this mean we will be seeing an all-new Brotherhood Of Evil Mutants in the film?
