Another year, another WonderCon. 2013’s convention was an amazing one, full of new and old friends, incredible news and panels, and plenty of memories.

To all that visited, we thank you, and we hope to see you again next year (if not sooner!). Check out the highlights from day three below, and let us know what you think! We’ve also got huge cosplay galleries from day one and two of WonderCon 2013. Let us know which cosplay was your favourite!

We’ve seen clips, but yesterday marked the first official trailer release for Fox’s upcoming Animation Domination series, Axe Cop. Axe Cop was created in 2009 by brothers Malachai Nicolle and Ethan Nicolle. Malachai was just five years old at the projects inception, and is responsible for the book’s ideas, while Ethan turns them into comics.

Axe Cop became a worldwide sensation almost overnight, so it’s no surprise that Fox optioned it for their upcoming animation block.

Watch the trailer for Axe Cop below, and let us know what you think! Axe Cop premieres on July 27th.

Day two of WonderCon 2013 has come to a close, and was of course an amazing experience. Our tireless team again combed every facet of the show floor (and some incredible panels, including Pacific Rim and Evil Dead), so keep your eyes peeled for a plethora of WonderCon content in the next few days.

Today, we hosted Heroine Legends and Nobility signings, arm wrestled with Batman for prizes, and of course, caught up with some old friends, made some new ones (here’s to you, Asian Blade), and had an absolute blast. Check out the highlights from day two below (and day one here), and don’t forget to come visit booth #953 tomorrow!

We’re a third of the way through WonderCon 2013, and what an absolutely fantastic first day we’ve had! Jonathan, Kari, Shawn, Molly, and Eric spent hours scouring both the show floor and a multitude of panels, so look for plenty of WonderCon content in the coming days.

Thanks to all the cosplayers and fans that visited the booth, and if you didn’t get a chance, come tomorrow! Again, you’ll find us at booth #953. Come say hello, get something signed, and take some photos! Check out the highlights of Day One below, and let us know what you think!

Today, Comic Con International announced that the new DC animated film, Superman: Unbound! shall have its world premiere this March at WonderCon in Anaheim. The film is set to be released on DVD, BluRay, and OnDemand in the late Spring 2013, but a lucky few will be able to see it first at the convention this year.

The film is based on the 5-part story arc Superman: Braniac by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank, which ran in ACTION COMICS (issues#866-870) in 2008, where Superman faces off against Brainiac as he tries to exact revenge on the Last Son of Krypton by destroying Earth.

The official announcement from WonderCon’s programming schedule:

WonderCon Anaheim 2013 presents the exclusive world premiere of the DC Universe Animated Movie Superman: Unbound! A destructive force is devastating planets across the galaxy—with Earth next in its sights—and even Superman may not be capable of halting the destruction alone in Superman: Unbound, the next entry in the ongoing series of DC Universe Animated Original Movies. Based on the Geoff Johns/Gary Frank 2008 release Superman: Brainiac, the film’s stellar voicecast is led by Matt Bomer (White Collar) as Superman, John Noble (Fringe, The Lord of the Rings films) as Brainiac, Stana Katic (Castle) as Lois Lane, and Molly Quinn (Castle) as Supergirl. Supervising producer James Tucker (Justice League, Batman: The Brave and the Bold) also directs the film from a script by Bob Goodman (Warehouse 13, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns).
