Have you ever been playing The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and felt like you wanted to try your hand at your own baton skills? Now’s your chance, since the replica ind Waker Baton that is being used during the Symphony of the Goddess: Master Quest 2016-2017 symphony tour has gone up for pre-order.

Available this June for $40, the baton feels like a must own for someone like me, who holds The Wind Waker in the highest esteem. Articulated to look as close as possible to the game’s version outside of it being cell shaded, it won’t be long until we can control the direction of the winds, allowing ourselves to sail to our heart’s content… Or at least you can try. As of press time, we have yet to confirm that it will actually control the wind.

The baton has been released to celebrate the 2016-2017 Master Quest tour, which kicked off in Santiago, Chile this weekend. Promising updated visuals to show off the recently released Twilight Princess HD, you can check out the entire list of dates and locations at the symphony’s web site. While you’re at it, you can claim your baton by pre-ordering it here!

The love for Yacht Club Games’ Shovel Knight is still going strong (as well it should) and the thirst for merchandise is real. WeLoveFine started shipping out their musical Troupple King plush just a few days ago and of course, there is always the stuffed version of the titular Shovel Knight but what about the rest of the cast? According to a store email sent out today, two additional characters will be joining WeLoveFine’s exclusive plush collection:Plague Knight and Shield Knight!
PlagueKnightplush

Plague Knight, the star of the game’s expansion, Plague of Shadows, comes packaged with his raven-headed staff and alchemy pouch. Both items can be attached to his body via magnets on Plague Knight’s back, hip, and arms. The staff, when stuck to his back can serve as a stand to prop the fellow up for display.

Shovel Knight’s friend, Shield Knight comes with her trusty shield, which can be magnetically affixed to her back or either of her arms. She is the tallest plush in the collection, standing 12 inches in height.

Plague Knight and Shield Knight are available to pre-order and scheduled to ship July 7. Like their predecessors, each of these plushes will cost $28.

What Shovel Knight character would you like to see plush-ified?

The latest release for Good Smile Company’s  Nendoroid posable figures is En Yufuin from Cute High Earth Defense Clube LOVE! (Binan Koukou Chukyuboeibu LOVE! in Japanese). Part of the company’s Orange Rouge line that caters to female fans, the figure of En-chan a.k.a. Battle Lover Cerulean is perfectly timed; the second season of his anime was recently announced.

Nendoroid En Yufuin stands about 100 millimeters tall and is packaged with several interchangeable parts. He comes with his Love Stick weapon along with a special arm part to hold it. Other arm-pose pieces include the finger-point and heart-symbol, both used at the end of the team’s transformation sequence. En-chan also comes with three facial expressions: “standard,” smiling, and sighing. My favorite accessories are definitely the bath house towel and bucket that he wears when he visits the Kurotamayu Bath House. You can see additional photos on Kahotan’s Blog.

You can pre-order Nendoroid En Yufuin now for the price of ¥5,000. If you pre-order him at the Good Smile Company online shop, a Nendoroid Plus Rubber Strap of En will be included with your order. Keep in mind, orders close March 16 at 9PM Japan time.

Any fans thinking of picking up this guy?

Japanese toy manufacturer, Kotobukiya, listed another figure, Anne, in their Cu-Poche line for pre-order. For those unfamiliar with Cu-Poche, they are four and a half inch articulated figures with magnets in their feet, enabling the, to stand on their metallic bases. They come with a variety of accessories, depending on what character the figure is based on.

What sets this particular toy apart from those that came before is its source material. Cup-Poche tend to be based on anime such as Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Idol M@ster. Anne, however, was created by Kotobukiya specifically for this line. She is also the first Cu-Poche to come wearing fabric clothing (which can be worn by any other Cu-Poche you own as well). If Kotobukiya Japan’s official Cu-Poche twitter is any indication, more fabric outfits should be on the way.

Kotobukiya has also listed a special accessory set containing additional items for Anne: three facial expressions (dubbed “sparkling eyes,” “unhappy face,” and “excited”), a ponytail hair style, and items to decorate the ponytail (a bow and a scrunchie-like hair tie).

Disney Interactive has announced that their upcoming Star Wars themed Toys to Life title, Disney Infinity 3.0, will hit stores on August 30th. Aside from the game itself, the studio plans to release close to a dozen new figures to go with it, so we hope the next month is enough time to get your cash together!

Aside from the Starter Pack, (which includes the Twilight of the Republic Play Set, Anakin Skywalker and Ashoka Tano,) day one will see the release of Yoda and Obi Wan Kenobi’s standalone figures, Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren, and Zeb Orrelios from Star Wars Rebels, and a set of Star Wars Power Discs. Of course, if you want even more goodness from a galaxy far far away, Playstation owners can also purchase the Star Wars Saga Starter Pack, which gives them early access to Luke, Leia, the Twilight of the Empire Play Set, and Boba Fett.

Outside of the Jedi, Disney won’t leave themselves in the dust. In addition, the Inside Out Play Set will release on day one as well, (which is bundled with Joy and Anger,) with Sadness, Disgust and Fear releasing as standalone toys. If you want your Toy Box characters outside of the Play Sets, Disney also has you covered with the releases of Mickey, Minnie, Mulan, Olaf, Sam Flynn and Quorra, alongside a Tomorrowland power disc pack to customize your Toy Box with.

I know, this is already a huge amount of toys to buy on day one, but the last release can be free of charge! If you pre-order, each person who does walks away with early access to the Toy Box Takeover, a multiplayer expansion normally priced at $19.99. Serving as an action adventure mode supporting 2 players locally and 4 players online, players will be able to take any toy from the previous or current game and travel across multiple Disney, Marvel and Star Wars worlds in their quest to stop Syndrome. Later this Fall, Toy Box Speedway, a Kart racing expansion, will also release, but you’ll have to pay for that one.
