Briefly: Following the bad-ass red-band trailer from last week, Fox has just debuted a new featurette for next year’s Kingsman: The Secret Service.

The video features plenty of insight from Kingsman (and Kick-Ass) director Matthew Vaughan, as well as interviews with Taron Egerton’s ‘Eggsy’ and a few others. The featurette also features some new clips, and is more than worth the watch for those looking forward to the film!

The performances look fantastic, the action is insane, and February totally can’t come soon enough. Take a look at the featurette below, and let us know what you think! Kingman: The Secret Service stars Colin Firth, Michael Caine, Taron Egerton and Samuel L. Jackson, and hits theatres on February 13th, 2015.

Briefly: I was really, really excited to check out Kingsman: The Secret Service this past October… but then the damned thing was delayed.

In any case, everything that we’ve seen from the film so far has been nothing but bad-ass, and all of us here at Geekscape cannot wait to see more of this Dave Gibbons/Mark Millar adaptation.

Briefly: We’d almost be lining up for Kingsman: The Secret Service right about now, had it not been for that unfortunate delay to February of last year.

Instead of seeing the feature, it looks like we’ll have to settle for this awesome new trailer, in which Colin Firth kicks some serious ass.

Based upon the acclaimed comic book and directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick Ass, X-Men First Class), Kingsman: The Secret Service tells the story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency’s ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.

We got our first sneak peak at WonderCon last month and now we have an even bigger look. Today, Yahoo Movies! has released the first trailer for Matthew Vaughn’s ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’, based on the comic book series by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons (which is definitely worth seeking out if you haven’t already)!

The film stars Colin Firth as a British secret service agent and newcomer Taron Egerton as his fresh-faced recruit. No telling from the trailer if they’re going to keep the estranged uncle/nephew storyline from the comics that was a big part of the comic (but let’s hope so).  They’re up against Samuel L. Jackson’s villain and Michael Caine also appears. It’s set in Britain and is an action movie… so of course Michael Caine’s gotta be in there!

We’ve been looking forward to this one since it was announced and can’t wait for its release in October. Take a look at the trailer:

Briefly: This one’s been rumoured since back in August, but that rumour has just been confirmed.

Elizbeth Olsen is Scarlet Witch in The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Jackson touched on Age of Ultron, and ultimately broke the news about the casting, stating that ”I know we’re shooting in London, that James Spader is Ultron and going to be the bad guy, and that we added Ms. [Elizabeth] Olsen [who will play the Scarlet Witch], but I don’t know what she’s doing, if she’s on the inside or the outside. I haven’t seen a script.”

Jackson also states that filming on Age of Ultron won’t start until March of 2014.

Are you looking forward to seeing Olsen in the role? She’s been pretty fantastic in everything that I’ve seen her in! Is there anyone else you’d rather have seen play Scarlet Witch? Sound out below!

Olsen

We saw some shots of the poster at CinemaCon and now the teaser poster for Spike Lee’s Oldboy remake has been officially released. With this being released you can definitely expect a trailer to be on it’s way soon as well. Be sure to check back for that one.

OLDBOY follows the story of an advertising executive (Josh Brolin) who is kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement without any indication of his captor’s motive. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his bizarre and torturous punishment only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment. His quest for revenge leads him into an ill-fated relationship with a young social worker (Elizabeth Olsen) and ultimately to an illusive man (Sharlto Copley) who allegedly holds the key to his salvation.

Oldboy is set to hit theaters October 11th, 2013.

Mike Jensen is an awesome concept artist who has recently done some designs for the upcoming reboot of Robocop. These pictures were posted on his official homepage but were taken down quite quickly. Hmmm. Thanks to the people over at  Robocop Archive, we might have our first look at some of the early designs of the new Robocop. Keep in mind that these are definitely NOT the final designs being that concept art usually changes from the final design and we have been told that we will see Alex Murphy’s eyes unlike in the original. While I am sure many will scream “No!” to these keep in mind as I stated that these are most likely early concept art which always differs from the final version. Plus I have complete faith in director Jose Padilha with this project.

Jose Padilha’s remake of ‘Robocop’ has been putting together an impressive cast so far that has been hyping people up on this film. Now with shooting set to start in two months it appears we are getting our first bit of viral campaigning for the movie. Click the image below to visit the OmniCorp site. Many of the features will deny you access but there is a video giving you a sneak peek at the new Robocop design.

UDPATE: Added some images from the site as well as an embedded version of the video.

Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained is one of the most anticipated films of the year. And now you can finally see the trailer!

Check out all the antebellum action for yourself:

Django Unchained – Trailer / Bande-Annonce [VO|HD] by Lyricis

Django Unchained stars Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz, Samuel Jackson, Kerry Washington and releases on Christmas!

So, there’s big news coming at this years Comic-Con regarding their next standalone movie. News site Latino Review is apparently reporting this news early:

THE BLACK PANTHER is going to headline his own film! How do I know? Let’s say I got it from FOUR different trusted sources. Last year, it was reported that Marvel hired Mark Bailey to pen the script and I hear the script is fantastic.

For those unfamiliar with the character:

The title “Black Panther” is a rank of office, chieftain of the Wakandan Panther Clan. As chieftain, the Panther is entitled to eat a special heart-shaped herb, as well as his mystical connection with the Wakandan Panther god, that grants him superhumanly acute senses and increases his strength, speed, stamina, and agility to the peak of human development. He has since lost this connection and forged a new one with another unknown Panther deity, granting him augmented physical attributes as well as a resistance to magic.

His senses are so powerful that he can pick up a prey’s scent and memorize tens of thousands of individual ones. T’Challa is a rigorously trained gymnast and acrobat, showing mastery in various African martial arts as well as contemporary ones and fighting styles that belong to no known disciplines.

Lation Review does have a history of being reliable with their scoops. And earlier today one of their staff tweeted BIG CLUE: This unseen Marvel character has been alluded to in the phase one Marvel films! Let speculation begin!

The Black Panther would definitely make sense as far as this statement being that we have vibranium (Cap’s shield) and the map from ‘Iron Man 2’ which had a marking above Wakanda.

Many actors have already expressed interest in the role including including Michael Jai White, Djimon Hounsou & Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.

Whats your thoughts on ‘The Black Panther’ coming to the big screen? Personally I was hoping it to be ‘Iron Fist’ or ‘Ant-man’ (though we still COULD get those) Fingers crossed!

In what can be referred to as the most obvious move in film history, Disney today has announced that they have secured a sequel to the EXPLOSIVELY successful Avengers movie.

With $654 MILLION in opening weekend box office sales worldwide, it is no surprise that Disney wants to get the ball rolling on a sequel in order to ride the good press.

Disney CEO Bob Iger was quoted saying “There is a strong demand for Avengers merchandsie.” No fucking duh Bob.

The new Avengers trailer has premiered over at Apple and it helps a lot. You see more of the Avengers being put together and you get a few more shots of the alien ships (although still no obvious signs as to who the bad guys Loki has hired are).

What do you guys think? Any guesses? I do know now that the bad guys do have a giant Transformers 3 worm!

Check out the new trailer here on Apple!
