This fall, for a two-issue story arc we will see a guest creative team take over on Nightwing. Tom DeFalco (Legion Lost, Superboy) will be writing the story with Andres Guinaldo and Mark Irwin on art duties. But what’s even more important is the revelation of what we will be seeing coming up in issue number 15.

“When writer Kyle Higgins needed a breather to gear up for the Joker’s monstrous return in issue #15, I turned to Tom, who pitched in on issue #0,” series editor Brian Cunningham told THE SOURCE. “I’ll just come out and say it: Tom ranks among the best ever at writing street-level heroes. And Tom really delivered with his first solo trip to Gotham, following the narrative that Kyle has developed without skipping a beat, and helping to set up the Joker arc. And it felt natural for Tom to continue exploring the character of Lady Shiva, who first appears in NIGHTWING #0.

In this story, both Dick and Shiva have grown up some since their first encounter—they’re not teenagers anymore—so it’ll be fun to see how each fares in a fair fight. Wait, did I say fair fight? Forget it—Shiva remains by far the better fighter, so it’s up to Dick to find a way just stay alive!”

A first look at the cover to issue number 14.

“On the art side, Andres Guinaldo is an on-the-rise artist to be reckoned with, and you can quote me. He’s extremely talented and has an idiosyncratic style that’s also perfectly suited for mainstream comics. Keep your eye on this guy—he will only get better. You’ll see what he’s capable of in these two issues, especially after Mark masterfully inks him.”

During yesterdays DC Nation panel fans were given a preview of Young Justice. When we last left Young Justice before the hiatus, Artemis faked her death to work undercover with Aqualad against The Light. The video features a whole slew of new villains and heroes that we will be introduced to. No return date has been announced yet but is expected soon.

Ed Boon brought two new characters to Comic-Con and revealed that you will be able to play as both Nightwing and Cyborg. Due to the game being obviously based on the ‘New 52’ cyborgs inclusion is obvious and I am sure we can expect to see Aquaman and Green Lantern soon enough.

Nightwing is the third bat-character to be introduced. With him and Harley that pretty much confirms we will be seeing The Joker on that roster soon. But fingers crossed that we get a ‘New 52′ Red Hood too. Just sayin’ DC.

For years now I’ve been seeing announcements for super hero porn parodies ranging from Avengers XXX to Superman XXX to you name it. Of course, they’re all straight porn, so while I don’t judge, as a gay guy, I also kind of don’t care. It seemed like there would never be gay porn super heroes for the likes of me.

Well, according to Bleedingcool.com, this is about to change. Rob Black, director of the recently announced Birds Of Prey XXX, appears to be making baby steps towards just that. Said to be inspired by recent mainstream headlines about Alan Scott being the first gay Green Lantern, Black will feature a gay G.L. in the upcoming Justice League XXX 3D production, played by gay porn star Adam Killian. I have strong suspicion he will be in the Hal Jordan persona and not the Alan Scott one…just call it a hunch. The best part is he is planning a scene with Green Lantern and Nightwing together. Kind of an odd choice (shouldn’t it be Green Lantern’s BFF Flash?) but I’ve always had a thing for Nightwing so I’m OK with this. I usually have zero use for studio porn, but if they start making more gay super hero ones I’ll have to change my tune.

NOT future gay Green Lantern Adam Killian, but I kinda wish it was.

Apparently is this is received well, more will come. It seems strange to me that a gay scene is being shoe horned into a straight porn, but I’ll bet real money that half the guys who buy this and who tell people they’re gonna skip past that scene are gonna watch it very first thing. You know who you are.

We’ve all wondered what would happen if our favorite pop culture characters were pitted against each other in mortal combat. Well we’ve got a few match-ups covered for you! In this exciting episode it is movie villains vs. super heroes. With the help of some trusty 20-sided dice and their vivid imaginations, Heidi and Stephen tackle just who would win and why. Prepare to be surprised and possibly delighted by the outcomes
