Sony revealed InFamous: First Light during their E3 conference, focusing on Fetch, one of the super powered conduits that Delsin encounters during Second Son.

Taking place in the conduit prison of Curdun Cay and the area around it before the events of the game, players will be able to explore a whole new environment detailing Fetch’s past in between her initial arrest and her eventual arrival in Seattle.

Bringing back her trademark neon powers, First Light promises to give Fetch a whole new way to control these powers compared to Delsin’s abilities in the main game. In addition, you’ll be able to get your inner photographer out with the ability to take pictures of the city as you travel.

The best news is that if you traded in your copy of the main game but still want to experience Fetch’s adventure, this DLC will be completely standalone, not requiring the original to be able to play. With that said, Sony and Sucker Punch are sweetening the pot by promising exclusive content for those who own both.

During the show, I was excited to see Fetch get her own content for two reasons. One, her powers were the best ones in the game BY FAR, making me hate having to use anything else through the second half of Delsin’s game. Needless to say, I’m excited to see what twist this content will put on her abilities, (not to mention the amazing visual effects that come with it). And two, Second Son was sorely lacking in backstory, so while it would have been nice to experience it in the main game, I’m still happy to finally delve into the past of at least one of these characters.

Are you still tearing up Seattle on your PS4, or are you ready to experience the horrors of Curdun Cay? First Light will hit the Playstation Store in August.

Briefly: Following the live action ad released earlier this week, Sony has debuted a new eight minute preview of Infamous: Second Son, which hits stores on March 23rd. Sucker Punch is clearly using everything that they’ve learned from the franchise’s first two iterations, and is really turning the dial up to 11 with all of their new ideas and gameplay mechanics.

Seriously, those reflections, those particles, that action… Second Son is going to freaking rock, and I cannot wait to get my hands on it.

You can take a look at the new video below (you’ll want to watch the entire thing, trust me) and let us know if you’ll be picking the game up! With Titanfall (which is unreal, read our review here), MGS: Ground Zeroes, and Infamous: Second Son all releasing in March, it’s going to be a busy month!

Briefly: We’re just a few weeks away from the anticipated launch of one of the PS4’s most anticipated games, Infamous: Second Son. Sucker Punch is clearly using everything that they’ve learned from the franchise’s first two iterations, and is really turning the dial up to 11 with all of their new ideas and gameplay mechanics.

A new live-action ad has just launched for the game. As it’s live action, it doesn’t actually feature any footage from the title, but it reminds me of how damned excited I am for it.

You can take a look at the video below, and be sure to let us know if you’re looking forward to the launch of Infamous: Second Son on March 23rd!

Briefly: Sony today debuted a brand-new look at the Sucker Punch PS4 exclusive Infamous: Second Son.

As a huge fan of the Infamous series thus far, I have to say that Second Son looks extremely promising. Sucker Punch is clearly using everything that they’ve learned from the franchise’s first two iterations, and is really turning the dial up to 11 with all of their new ideas and gameplay mechanics.

Today’s video explores the game’s new setting, Seattle, and it’s easy to see that Infamous: Second Son is set to be the PS4’s best looking game to date. Take a look at the new preview below, and let us know what you think!

Infamous: Second Son hits stores on March 21st!

Today I came across a mysterious video put up on Playstations YouTube account. It is the sequel to an even more mysterious video posted on the 18th. Lets take a peak at “The Reload” and “The Arrival”.

Lets go back and deconstruct what we see. In the first video there isn’t much there, we are greeted by a tough, solemn looking lady who is holding a gun. She appears to be at a hotel front desk, when a stranger off screen can be heard walking in. The sound electricity popping can be heard quickly after.

In the second video we see the same lady typing a letter in a foreign looking language, one that reminds me of “WingDings” font from MS-Word. A jeep arrives outfront and she proceeds to unlock a gate for the driver.

What does this all mean? Well my best guess is that these are ads for Playstation Allstars Battle Royale. The first video we can assume that the electricity man is Cole MacGrath from the inFamous games and the second guy is most likely Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series.

The date at the end you ask? Well it coincides with the public beta of Playstations Allstars Battle Royale. So if this is any else, you can color me shocked. I will be sure to keep you updated when more of these mysteries come out.

For the lucky ones out there, enjoy your time at PAX Prime 2012 in Seattle this weekend. For the not-so lucky, here are some things to maybe occupy your time in-between all the announcements this weekend.

The Walking Dead Episode 3: Long Road Ahead – PC, PSN, XBLA

Telltale Games decided to spring this one on us at the last second with the announcement on Monday. Not to say that I am mad about that, it’s just unexpected to not announce the release date two or more weeks in advance. I’m sure Long Road Ahead will continue the intense pace and more gut-wrenching story moments like episode 2 brought us. After all the stats Telltale Games has shown about the choices people made in previous episodes, I am curious if people will start to change the way they play in order to screw with those stats or continue to play honestly.
