Super Mario Maker just released yesterday and we’ve already seen some crazy secrets the game holds. We all like finding secrets and unlockables in games, but what if sometimes you just don’t want to wait to discover things? Want to see all the different costumes and secrets in the game but don’t have the time? Well, the folks over at That One Video Gamer have you covered. They have recently just released a video on their let’s play channel showcasing all the different kinds of costumes you can find in the game, as well as some other hidden surprises. ‘Yoshi’s Wooly World’ Uses Amiibo In The Most Adorable Way

Starting to feel the fatigue of all that Amiibo hunting? Maybe Yoshi’s Wooly World will bring some purpose back to the twelve hour campouts and online refresh fests.

In the latest trailer from UK Nintendo, the Yarn Yoshi’s get a bit of a makeover! In addition to the AI controlled partner that unlocks when one of the plush Yoshi Amiibo are tapped into the game, tapping seemingly every Amiibo up to this point will unlock a special knit pattern based on the character you tapped. Want a Mario themed Yoshi? How about Donkey Kong, or Kirby? If you didn’t before, the trailer below will likely change your mind.

A specific list of which Amiibo will be compatible has not yet been released, but the trailer looks promising. Imagine a Sonic, Mega Man, or even a Fire Emblem themed character in a full fledged Nintendo platformer? I’m definitely getting a LittleBigPlanet vibe from these, but considering how its costumes was one of the game’s highlights, who could complain?

Yoshi’s Wooly World will launch in late June with a green Yoshi bundle, alongside the blue and pink versions… in Europe. No release date or bundles have been shown for the West, but we can’t imagine our turn will be far off.

Emerald City Comicon has come and gone, and along with 80,000 eager geeks, hundreds of extremely talented cosplayers descended on the Washington State Convention Centre.

The Saint Mort Show Episode 99: Alvree of Ashen Phoenix

I was at RetroCon this weekend and got a chance to sit down with Alvree of Ashen Phoenix. Alvree is one of the quirkiest and interesting guests I’ve ever had. Instead of talking Cosplay we ended up discussing how great Horror Movies and Halloween is. A perfect way to end September and kick off October.

This ‘Way Of The Samurai 4’ Launch Trailer Is…Pretty Damn Weird

Way Of The Samurai 4 ships TODAY and with this auspicious moment the folks over at Acquire games have released this interesting launch trailer…yeah,”interesting”.

This is obviously a game that doesn’t take itself too seriously. With Saints Row absurd costumes and activities, this looks like something I’d love to play. 1:09 of the trailer is probably the funniest thing I’ve seen all week. From the video release:

PS3 exclusive Way of the Samurai 4 takes place in the harbor town of Amihama, several years after the arrival of the “black ships” from the West ended Japan’s long history of cultural isolation. Will you aid the traditional isolationists in their attempts to exile this potential threat to the Japanese way of life?
