Geekscape Games Podcast: Level 99 – ‘Set My Lights To Relax’

Not to be overshadowed by games like Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and The Last of Us: Part 2, Sony took it upon themselves to finally reveal the long awaited Playstation sequel that everyone’s been waiting for! That of course is Knack 2.

For those who don’t know, Knack was an original launch title for the PS4, and is one of the greatest video games ever made (Why else would they credit Creator Mark Cerny for it at The Game Awards?). The announcement during PSX this year left fans all across the world speechless at the reveal trailer. They could have just ended the show right there and everyone would have been happy. While there is no release outside a generic 2017 window, Knack 2 has now become the show’s most highly anticipated game. PSX 2016: Holy Crap! ‘The Last Of Us: Part 2’ Is Happening!

Awwww yeah, it’s happening!

After 3 years, of asking and speculation, 2013 critical darling The Last of Us is finally getting its sequel. Revealed at PSX 2016 this past weekend, the trailer and game take place a couple of years after the original Last of Us and features a now 19 year old Ellie who has been hardened and is now seeking revenge by wanting to kill everyone who poses a threat to her. What exactly happened to cause this? We don’t know! Naughty Dog hasn’t provided anything else, so expect the game to not release anytime in the next year or 2. Are you excited for this sequel? PSX 2016: Chloe & Nadine Go Solo In ‘Uncharted:The Lost Legacy’!

Just when you thought you were done with Uncharted 4, they pull you back in!

This past weekend at PSX, Sony kicked off their press conference with a demo for Uncharted 4‘s new story DLC! Titled The Lost Legacy, The story will revolve around Chloe, one of the main characters from Uncharted 2 & 3, as we follow her story along with newly introduced Uncharted 4 character Nadine. Naughty Dog said that while this will be DLC for U4 that they still want this to feel different from the game. If fans bought the Uncharted 4 digital deluxe or explorers pack, then they’ll receive The Lost Legacy for free. Both Versions will be available for purchase until December 13th.

PSX 2016: Rumours Confirmed! ‘Marvel VS. Capcom: Infinite’ Is Everything We’ve Been Told It Is

Well color me surprised. After a series of unsubstantiated rumours, and a serious argument from yours truly AGAINST those rumours, the truth comes out!

We are getting a new Marvel VS. Capcom game. Check out the trailer for Infinite below!

What rumours have come true you ask? Well it looks like gone are the 3 VS. 3 battles of previous titles. Now we have a 2 VS. 2 system, and most likely will have third “assist” character option available.

It also appears that Marvel is pushing for using IP’s that it has more control over. This one appears to be heavily influenced by the existing Marvel Cinematic Universe. So say bye bye to The X-Men!

Thats pretty much it! The biggest shock was that the damn game was actually announced.

No specific release date has been given, but we are looking for a “2017” release window. It will be launched on PS4, PC and Xbox One.
