Briefly: Those of you looking forward to next year’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be waiting a little longer than expected.

The film, originally slated to hit theatres on June 6th, has been pushed two months to August 8th. Paramount explains that the lack of family films in late Summer should help the production’s box office numbers (the further distance from Paramount’s own Transformers 4 should also help both films).

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stars Megan Fox, Alan Ritchson, William Fichtner, Will Arnett, Whoopie Goldberg, and plenty of others! I’m still not really sure what to make of the film (or Megan Fox’s April O’Neil for that matter), what do you think?

Briefly: We’ve already seen Bumblebee’s new look for Transformers 4, but Michael Bay’s latest preview would suggest that the character may be getting an overhaul at some point in the film.

While the old image showed off a customized 1967 Camaro, the new vehicle is a 2014 concept Camaro… I guess Bumblebee at least has a preference of model, huh?

Take a look at the new vehicle below, and let us know what you think! Transformers 4 hits theatres on June 27th, 2014!

Following our first looks at BumblebeeHound, an unnamed Lamborghini, a Pagani HuayraOptimus Prime, and two other vehicles, Michael Bay has unveiled yet another truck from the upcoming Transformers 4.

No character info has been released about the latest vehicle, but the description that accompanies the photo states that “The adventure continues to transform with a very different offering from Daimler Trucks North America . . . the imposing 2014 Argosy cab-over truck by Freightliner.”

This one certainly looks like it could be a Decepticon: being that this rig features a very contrasted look from that of Optimus Prime, could the classic baddie Motormaster be appearing in Transformers 4? Bay seems eager to reveal all of the new vehicles, but hasn’t yet shared just who is actually in the movie. That has to be frustrating for fans.

Following our first looks at BumblebeeHound, an unnamed Lamborghini,  Optimus Prime, and two other vehicles, Michael Bay has unveiled one more car for the upcoming Transformers 4.

No character info has been revealed about the latest vehicle. The description that accompanies the image states: “Considered a masterpiece of design and engineering, this fierce, 2013 blood red Pagani Huayra, is named after an ancient Andean God of Wind.”

Like all of the other vehicles revealed, this one looks insanely fast, incredible expensive, and is likely a poor ‘disguise’ for any robot trying to hide inside. Take a look at the Pagani Huayra below, and let us know who you’d like to see it transform into!

Briefly: Back in May, William Fichtner joined the Michael Bay produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in an unspecified, yet ‘iconic’ role. Seeing as the turtles had already been cast, and Fichtner doesn’t really fit the Master Splinter look, it was assumed that the actor would be playing Shredder in the film.

In an interview with the Huffington Post, Fichtner has confirmed our speculation:

I play Shredder. It is cool. It’s one of those things that came along where I thought, “Really? Let me think about this for a minute.” [Laughs] Then I was like, “Yeah, OK, this sounds like a journey.” I’m very glad that it worked out, I’m really glad that I’m doing it.

Fichtner is a pretty phenomenal actor, and I’m really looking forward to seeing his Shredder portrayal. What do you think of the casting choice? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is set to hit theatres on June 6th, 2014.

Following our first look at Bumblebee, Hound, Optimus Prime, and two other vehicles, Michael Bay has unveiled one more car for the upcoming Transformers 4.

The car is the “the extraordinary and exhilarating 2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Coupe,” but the Transformer hiding inside has not yet been revealed.

What do you think of the vehicle? Which robot would you like to see it turn into? Transformers 4 hits theatres on June 27th, 2014.

Following the first vehicular images released from Michael Bay’s Transformers 4 (here and here), Paramount has revealed a look at the first-generation Autobot scout, Hound.

It seems like all of the Autobots are hiding out in ridiculously expensive vehicles. Isn’t the idea to be in ‘disguise’?

Check out the first image of Hound below, and let us know if you’re looking forward to the film! Transformers 4 hits theatres on June 27th, 2014.

Yesterday we showed you the first three robots from Michael Bay’s upcoming Transformers 4.

Today, it’s Bumblebee’s turn. The popular Autobot returns again, but this time in a heavily-modified 1967 Camaro. He’s also gone dark: from the image, it looks like the car sports yellow accents exclusively on the front end, with the rest of the car being flat black.

Take a look at the reimagined Bumblebee below, and let us know if you’re looking forward to the film. Trans4mers Transformers 4 opens on June 27th, 2014.

I remember July 2nd, 2007 like it was yesterday. A beyond-excited 17 year old me drove over almost two hours to the nearest movie theatre and waited in line all afternoon to finally get a chance to see Michael Bay’s Transformers on opening day.

I barely remember the movie all these years later, but I do remember the disappointment. I remember the dozens of times during the feature when I simply thought to myself, “what the hell am I watching?”, or “they did not just do that”. I remember wondering to myself if I should simply leave, but convincing myself instead to stay because “it has to get better”.

It didn’t. I hated it in its entirety. I still haven’t seen Revenge of the Fallen or Dark of the Moon, and I have no plans to see Transformers 4. It’ll make millions, and folks will love it, and I respect that, but it’s simply not for me.

For those of you as infatuated with Transformers as I was back in the day, three images from the production of Transformers 4 have been revealed. Two new Autobots in their vehicular forms have been shown off, as well as a redesigned Optimus Prime.

Take a look at the images below, and let us know if you’re excited! Transformers 4 hits theatres on June 27th, 2014.

Has Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles found its Shredder?

Deadline has learned that William Fichtner has joined the cast of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. His character has not been revealed, but Fichtner will play a “lead with iconic stature in the Turtles’ mythology”.

Now, the turtles themselves, as well as Splinter, have all already been cast. Will Arnett is playing April O’Neil’s (Megan Fox) camera man, meaning that the film doesn’t yet have a villain! I think that Fichtner looks a little old to be playing Casey Jones, so could he be stepping into Shredder’s shoes?

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but as soon as Fichtner’s character is officially revealed, we’ll let you know! Would you like to see William in the role?

Love it or hate it, a contemporary, hyper-stylized take on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is coming. Principal photography of the Jonathan Liebesman directed, Michael Bay produced picture is currently underway, and the first set photos of Megan Fox as April O’Neil have made their way online.

I don’t know if a single soul expected otherwise, but… she doesn’t really look like April O’Neil. Then again, does she really need to, starring in a reboot and all?

In any case, take a look at the first set photos of Megan Fox as April O’Neil below, and let us know what you think! Head over to TheDailyMail for plenty of other images, including some trampoline-jumping action (if you’re into that kind of thing).

Director Michael Bay is putting together an impressive cast for the fourth installment in the Transformers  franchise. He’s already lined up Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor and Stanley Tucci and now Deadline reports that Kelsey Grammer has signed on to play the  lead villain in the upcoming film. The actor will play ‘Harold Attinger’, a counter intelligence of some sort. Not much is known regarding the role other than that at the moment.

Michael Bay is currently doing the press rounds for Pain & Gain and during an interview with Moviefone also discussed two of his upcoming projects as well. A rumor spread a short while back that the upcoming Jonathan Liebesman directed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot, which Bay is producing, would see the four main characters re-invented as an alien race. During the interview Bay commented on the rumor and explained just what exactly is going to be alien in the film:

There was that quote saying that we’re making [the Ninja Turtles as] aliens. We’re not. It’s the ooze! It’s from the original source material. These are from the original writers, and I never went out to correct myself in the press. I do listen to the fans and I do want this to be authentic. I think they’re going to be really happy with this movie. When I see the digital stuff, the turtles look great. But I’m getting away from your question. Your question was…

Bay then switched gears to Transformers 4 and spoke about starting the franchise as well as protecting the brand:

See, I was not a fan of Transformers [at first]. Hasbro was talking about giving me a whole Transformers story, and I’m like, “If I can do this really real. If I can make them believable, I think I could have something here.” I’m not a Hollywood guy. My friends are normal guys. I’ve got this guy from Texas. He’s like, “Mike, that “Transformers” [movie] seems like a dumb idea.” And I’m like, “Yeah, I know, but just give it a second.” And then I showed him the shot of the Scorponoks jumping out of the sand with Tyrese [Gibson] running. He saw that image and he went, “I see what you’re doing.” You’ll always have haters, but the last movie? One-hundred-twenty million people saw that movie. There’s still a lot of fans of that franchise. And I’m a huge Transformers fan now, and I protect that brand.

On what Bay set out to do with the films and the fanboy backlash:

[The film] was also to make non-Transformer fans into Transformer fans. I think it was good coming from that perspective that it wasn’t a “fanboy” movie.

Bay then discussed “re-designing” the franchise for the next trilogy and keeping things fresh:

You know there are a couple of historians of Transformers. I would do my designs of the robots and they’re like, “What if you just add a little bit more ears to Optimus?” But they’re really hands off. We’ve redesigned them in “Transformers 4,” and there’s some really cool sh*t in it. I’m literally redesigning every character, top to bottom. There’s a reason why they’re redesigned, but it’s also to keep it new and fresh to me. I think the fans will appreciate some of this new stuff we have in the movie and some of the new characters.

On what made him want to return for the fourth film after saying the third was his last:

Yeah, and this is literally a true story. I went to the [Transformers] ride in Universal, and there’s a two-and-a-half-hour line, and you just see all these kids — it’s the most popular ride they’ve had since Jurassic Park — and I’m like… It’s hard to let go of your franchise. You don’t want someone to f*ck it up. So I at least wanted to set it up on some good footing. Because you’re going to get a different kind of director [who is] not going to want to follow in my footsteps. Directors feel very territorial. So they’re going to go to a more inexperienced director. It’s just the way Hollywood works. And I’m thinking, “God, so I’ll redesign it, set it up… Someone’s gonna f*ck this up. This is way too big of a thing.” And I’m looking at all these kids and I’m like, “F*ck, I gotta do one more.” And then I brought Mark [Wahlberg] into it. So now we’ve got a movie star, we’ve got full redesigns. At least it’ll be on good footing.

Michael Bay and Jonathan Liebesman’s upcoming reboot of the franchise has already received plenty of criticisms from the online community. These initially came about from the leaking of a not-so-great script for the film (which I can confirm from a source close to production is definitely not the script that is being used) and a not-so-popular title for the film.

Well, the script for the film has been rewritten by Snow White And The Huntsman scribe Evan Daugherty and the title has been officially changed to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. A logo for the film was revealed by Paramount Pictures during their CinemaCon presentation which confirmed the title change. The upcoming film is currently in production and stars Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Danny Woodburn, Alan Ritchson, Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard and Noel Fisher.

While attending CinemaCon to promote Pain & Gain, director Michael Bay announced that actor Stanley Tucci has joined the cast of the fourth installment in the Transformers franchise. It appears that Bay is putting together a fairly impressive cast this time around and Tucci will be joining Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor and Nicola Peltz in the upcoming film. There’s currently no details known regarding what role Tucci will play in the film at the moment.

We’ve learned a majority of the cast for the upcoming Jonathan Liebesman directed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot already. However, the cast of the film continues to grow and it has been revealed that Danny Woodburn, who you may know best from his appearances as Mickey Abbott on Seinfeld and in Watchmen, has joined the film’s cast as Master Splinter. Woodburn will join the rest of the cast and play the mentor and teacher of the four turtles in the upcoming Michael Bay produced live action/motion capture film.

A new Red-Band trailer has been released for director Michael Bay’s Pain & Gain starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Anthony Mackie. The upcoming dark comedy, which is based on a true story, definitely looks like it’s going to be a fun time at the movies.

From acclaimed director Michael Bay comes “Pain & Gain,” a new action comedy starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Anthony Mackie. Based on the unbelievable true story of three personal trainers in 1990s Miami who, in pursuit of the American Dream, get caught up in a criminal enterprise that goes horribly wrong. Ed Harris, Tony Shalhoub, Rob Corddry, Rebel Wilson and Bar Paly also star. The film is based on magazine articles by Pete Collins, with a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and produced by Donald DeLine, Michael Bay and Ian Bryce.

Not too long ago it was rumored that actress Nicola Peltz (The Last Airbender, Bates Motel) would play the female lead in the upcoming fourth installment in the Transformers franchise. However, there was no official confirmation regarding the news and we haven’t heard anything since then. Well, that was until today. When asked if Megan Fox would be returning as the female lead in the film on Twitter, director Michael Bay responded:

— Michael Bay Dot Com (@S4TE) March 26, 2013

Peltz will join Mark Wahlberg and Jack Reynor in the upcoming film. Reynor and Peltz will play a high school-aged couple. He is a race car driver and she is the daughter of Mark Wahlberg, who will be the lead in this start of a new trilogy.

Just last week we learned that actor Alan Ritchson had been cast in Paramount’s upcoming  reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. The film, which will be produced by Michael Bay (Transformers) and directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath Of The Titans), has now cast the remaining turtles as well.

Pete Ploszek (Parks And Recreation) has been cast as Leonardo, Jeremy Howard (Galaxy Quest) as Donatello, and Noel Fisher (Battle: Los Angeles) as Michaelangelo. These three will join Ritchson and Megan Fox in the upcoming film, which is also looking to cast it’s Shredder very soon as well. Too bad Ken Watanbe is currently busy with Legendary’s Godzilla at the moment. Unlike the original films, this new one will bring the turtles to life via motion capture rather than body suits. Production is set to begin on the film next month, so expect to learn the remainder of the cast very soon.

Casting is currently on Paramount and Platinum Dunes upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Not long ago we had learned that Megan Fox has joined the cast of the Jonathon Liebesman directed live-action/CGI reboot of the franchise as April O’Neil and now they’ve begun casting the film’s turtles. Alan Ritchson, who will be appearing in the upcoming The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, has been cast as the film’s Raphael.

Unlike the original film series, which saw actors in bulky suits, we’ll see the turtles brought to life via motion capture technology. Filming is set to begin next month, so we should expect to hear about the rest of the cast very soon.

Well, looks like we’re going to be seeing quite a few bits of fake information “leaking” regarding Michael Bay’s fourth installment in the Transformers franchise. Production on the film has recently been confirmed to take place in Chicago, even though it was rumored that the film would take place in China. Following this, a “synopsis for the film” was “leaked online” yesterday after it was announced by the Michigan Film Office that Transformers 4 will film scenes in Detroit as well this summer. The plot summary read as follows:

As humanity picks up the pieces, following the conclusion of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Autobots and Decepticons have all but vanished from the face of the planet. However, a group of powerful, ingenious businessman and scientists attempt to learn from past Transformer incursions and push the boundaries of technology beyond what they can control – all while an ancient, powerful Transformer menace sets Earth in his crosshairs. The epic adventure and battle between good and evil, freedom and enslavement ensues.

Well, Paramount has contacted and revealed to Bleeding Cool that this “information previously posted is inaccurate.” With production yet to begin, we shouldn’t actually expect an official synopsis for a few months.

It was revealed not too long ago that Michael Bay was going to be taking the Transformers franchise in a new and fresh direction with this new trilogy. This also mean that we would be getting a fresh cast for the film which would include Mark Wahlberg and Jack Reynor to start with. However, it seems that Michael Bay may want one cast member to appear as the lone link between the two trilogies. While speaking at SXSW actor Josh Duhamel revealed:

Transformers

“[Michael] said he wants to put me in it someplace. I don’t know if he was just saying that because he had me on the phone and he felt obligated or what, but, you know what? I got to do three of those. It changed my career, it changed my life getting to be a part of something that big, so I’m grateful for even doing the first three of them.”

From the sounds of it, it seems that Bay may have a small part in mind for Duhamel’s William Lennox. The character was definitely one of the better members of the human cast of the first three films and would be a great way for the director to link the two trilogies together.

We haven’t been getting much news regarding the Michael Bay produced and Jonathon Liebesman directed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot, minus learning that Megan Fox will be playing April O’Neil in the film and that filming will begin in April. Paramount Pictures have announced that the semi-controversial reboot has been pushed back three weeks after the original release date of May 16th, 2014.

The film will now be hitting theaters June 6th, 2014. This isn’t a major delay by any means and probably to avoid competition with Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Legendary’s Godzilla (which was set to open the same weekend). Filming on the project is set to begin very soon and we should begin learning even more regarding the cast over the next month or two.

Director Michael Bay and actress Megan Fox had a very major falling out a few years back, which led to the actress being replaced in Transformers: Dark Of The Moon. Well, it looks like Michael Bay and Megan Fox have put their differences aside. The director has revealed that Fox will be joining the cast of Jonathon Liebesman’s upcoming Teenage Mutant  Ninja Turtles as the film’s April O’Neil. The actress beat out the likes of Jane Levy, Anna Kendrick and Elizabeth Olsen for the role.

While speaking with Forbes, director Michael Bay talked about the upcoming fourth chapter in the Transformers franchise. The film, which starts shooting in May, will be the start of a new trilogy and Bay has stated this while this is a direct sequel to the prior three films, it’s a completely new take on the series.

“We’re going to start off smaller. There’s a brand new cast. To freshen the franchise, we’ve redesigned everything from top to bottom. The history of the first three movies is still there, we start four years later and there’s a reason why we’re meeting a new cast. Mark [Wahlberg] is really excited about it and it’s a great redesign. I said that 3 [which grossed $1.1 billion] was going to be my last one. Paramount was letting me do Pain & Gain and the Transformers ride was opening at Universal and it was bittersweet to think of passing it off. I wanted to set it up on a really sure footing and to bring someone else in on that, it would have been overwhelming.”

Bay also goes on to state that they are attempting to broaden the franchise and give it more places to go. Hopefully those plans to broaden it also include the Dinobots. We’re just saying.

Does the name sound unfamiliar? Well, Ernie Reyes Jr. performed stunts for Donatello as well as playing the role of Keno in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Secret Of The Ooze. Since then Reyes has gone on to do stunt work for Avatar, Act Or Valor and a number of other films. Now, Keno wants to return to the franchise and has released a sizzle reel to let Michael Bay know that he’d love to come on and choreograph the martial arts for Jonathon Liebesman’s next film in the franchise. Check it out below.

We’ve heard plenty of stories about the liberties being taken with Michael Bay (Transformers) & Jonathon Liebesman’s (Battle: Los Angeles) upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. While we don’t know if all of these stories are true or not, being that Bay has stated that the script that leaked is not the one being used for the film, what we do know now is that the film will be principal photography this April in New York.

With this now being revealed, expect some casting news regarding the film very soon. Also, could this confirm that the film will actually be called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and not just Ninja Turtles like it was rumored to be called? More details regarding the film should definitely be expected over the next few months.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Ninja Turtles will hit theaters on May 16th, 2014.

A short while ago it was rumored that young Irish actor Jack Reynor (What Richard Did) had been offered a lead role in the upcoming fourth Transformers film to star alongside Mark Wahlberg. Michael Bay has now taken to his official website and confirmed that Reynor has been cast in the film, calling him “the real deal”. Bay also confirms that the film, which will be quite different than the last few, will the be the first of a brand new trilogy.

I just hired a great new actor for Transformers 4 to star against Mark Wahlberg. Jack Reynor, he is an Irish kid that came to America with 30 bucks in his pocket. Pretty ballsy. Seriously, who does that? Anyway I spotted him in a great little Irish movie WHAT RICHARD DID. This kid is the real deal.

Transformers 4 is not a reboot. That word has been floating around on the net.

This movie takes place exactly 4 years after the war in Chicago. The story makes a very natural transition, and reason as to why we have a whole new cast. This Transformers will feel very different then the last three. We are embarking on a new trilogy.

Not long ago it was revealed that they were currently searching for two young actors to join the cast of Michael Bay’s next chapter in the highly-successful Transformers franchise. The first official casting came via Michael Bay who revealed that Mark Wahlberg (Ted, The Departed) had signed on for the film and now it appears that the two young lead roles have been filled.

Nicola Peltz (The Last Airbender) and Brenton Thwaites (the upcoming Maleficent) have reportedly signed on for the film. According to the earlier reports, Peltz will play Wahlberg’s teenage daughter, and Thwaites her boyfriend, a race car driver.

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Transformers 4 (which most likely won’t be the name of the film) will focus on Mark Wahlberg’s character (the character’s identity is still being kept secret) and his daughter. The film;s third lead in the film will be her boyfriend, who is a race car driver. Currently Isabelle Cornish (Limitless) and Nicola Peltz (The Last Airbender) are two of the actresses currently up for the female role. It’s also been revealed that there are currently five young actors up for the boyfriend role in the fourth installment.

The list includes Luke Grimes (Brothers & Sisters), Landon Liboiron (Terra Nova), Brenton Thwaites (Blue Lagoon: The Awakening), as well as newcomer Jack Reynor and Hunter Parrish (Weeds). It’s also being said that these actors are being offered a strict three-picture deal, meaning that this will likely be the start of a new trilogy, and to expect an April-November shoot.
