Briefly: Following yesterday’s Wahlberg-centric character poster, Paramount has debuted two new character posters AND the full trailer for Transformers: Age of Extinction.

As much as I’ve hated on the Transformers series over the years, there are definitely some cool moments to this trailer. The main character being an adult with a family to protect is an interesting deviation from Shia Labeouf, and the much more classically styled Optimus Prime is a welcome change. The Dinobots still looks stupid, but… well, baby steps, right?

You can take a look at the full trailer for Transformers: Age of Extinction, plus two character posters below, and be sure to let us know if you’re looking forward to the film, and what you’re most looking forward to seeing in the full feature.

Briefly: We haven’t seen much from the Transformers: Age of Extinction camp since the first teaser debuted back at the Super Bowl (which also gave us our first look at the Dinobots). Today, Paramount Pictures debuted the first character poster for the film, which naturally features Mark Wahlberg’s Cade Yeager (yep, that’s his name) holding some sort of alien weapon.

You can take a look at the poster below, and be sure to let us know if you’re looking forward to the film! Transformers: Age of Extinction hits theatres on June 27th, 2014.

Briefly: Following the excellent trailer and TV spot for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and the hilarious new look at Muppets Most Wanted, here is the first official footage from Michael Bay’s Transformers: Age Of Extinction:

Yep… I think that most people either really love or really hate the Transformers franchise (you should know by now that I’m in the latter… I haven’t even seen Revenge of the Fallen or Dark of the Moon), but in either case, be sure to let us know what you think of the footage!

As SJ noted earlier todayTransformers: Age of Extinction is slated for a June 27, 2014 release and stars Jack Raynor, Nicola Peltz and Mark Wahlberg, with Peter Cullen reprising his role as the voice of Optimus Prime. Kelsey Grammer recently joined the cast as the villain Harold Attinger, and Glenn Morshower is returning to the role of General Morshower.

Transformers: Age of Extinction released new pictures of on-set action; cranking up the already frantic levels of excitement around the much-anticipated Super Bowl ad.

Mark Wahlberg, who plays a struggling inventor in the 4th incarnation of the Transformers series, taking the everyman mantle from Shia Labeouf, talks with director Michael Bay on the set of Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Michael Bay, director and producer of the Transformers franchise, teased fans this morning, tweeting: “Be sure to check the official Michael Bay instagram account during the super bowl for a special surprise.”

The Transformers: Age of Extinction trailer has been voted the most anticipated movie trailer or ad of Super Bowl XLVIII in a recent poll by Fandango. A whopping 48% of viewers said the trailer was the one they were most looking forward to seeing.

Other trailers airing during the Super Bowl are The Amazing Spider-Man-2, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Noah and Robocop.

Briefly: We’ve already seen Bumblebee’s new look for Transformers 4, but Michael Bay’s latest preview would suggest that the character may be getting an overhaul at some point in the film.

While the old image showed off a customized 1967 Camaro, the new vehicle is a 2014 concept Camaro… I guess Bumblebee at least has a preference of model, huh?

Take a look at the new vehicle below, and let us know what you think! Transformers 4 hits theatres on June 27th, 2014!

Following the first vehicular images released from Michael Bay’s Transformers 4 (here and here), Paramount has revealed a look at the first-generation Autobot scout, Hound.

It seems like all of the Autobots are hiding out in ridiculously expensive vehicles. Isn’t the idea to be in ‘disguise’?

Check out the first image of Hound below, and let us know if you’re looking forward to the film! Transformers 4 hits theatres on June 27th, 2014.

Hound

Yesterday we showed you the first three robots from Michael Bay’s upcoming Transformers 4.

Today, it’s Bumblebee’s turn. The popular Autobot returns again, but this time in a heavily-modified 1967 Camaro. He’s also gone dark: from the image, it looks like the car sports yellow accents exclusively on the front end, with the rest of the car being flat black.

Take a look at the reimagined Bumblebee below, and let us know if you’re looking forward to the film. Trans4mers Transformers 4 opens on June 27th, 2014.

Bumblebee

Today at the UBS Best Of Americas 2012 Conference Hasbro President Brian Goldner discussed plans for the fourth installment in the highly successful Transformers film franchise. Due to the drop in toy sales between movies due to recurring cast of robots Goldnew stated that “Transformers 4 will have a new cast of [robot] characters and it will be a story revolving around these new characters.”

While this doesn’t exactly mean that won’t be seeing the return of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee in the sequel to Transformers: Dark Of The Moon we should expect characters such as Ratchet and such to take the bench. What’s a Transformers movie without Optimus? Oh, wait they did that in the 80’s. Does this mean Sideswipe won’t be back and getting more screen time? Well, damn it. Could we finally see the Dinobots this time around? It has been rumored for quite some time now that they were trying to find a way to introduce the bots into the movies. Is there an Autobot or Decepticon that you would like to see introduced in the fourth installment in the film franchise?
