Don’t Sleep On Xbox Games With Gold For December! Sleeping Dogs, Burnout, & More!

Xbox’s last month of Games with Gold for 2016 is going out in style.

During the whole Month of December, Xbox One users will be able to download the now defunct United Front Studios open world adventure game Sleeping Dogs. Then, from December 16th through January 15th, One users can download the horror game hit Outlast, and what’s more scarier than Mid January? 360 users fret not, as you also have some cool games coming your way. From December 1st through the 15th you’ll be able to play Ubisofts odd multicolored platform game Outland. Finally, from December 16th through the 31st, users will be able to take to the streets in Burnout Paradise. (No crash mode, but hey! It’s still Burnout.)

Steam Sale Offer Great Games, Awesome Prices

In case we didn’t have enough to be thankful for, good guy Steam has put a number of top-rated games on sale (a one-two whammy of awesome, because (a) they’re like 70% off and (b) we don’t need to actually leave the house or put on pants to get this kinda-grey-Wednesday deal).

Square Releases ‘Sleeping Dogs’ Demo

If you are an old school, intrepid gamer, you rely on demos to help base your opinion on new releases. If you were on the fence with Sleeping Dogs then REST EASY!

Square have just announced that TODAY they will be releasing a demo for the game on all platforms! So go grab it and jump into a mission that takes you through a vibrant marketplace, and a sneak peak at a later level in the story.

Sleeping Dogs Awaken With This Launch Trailer

The mysterious to-me game, Sleeping Dogs, got it’s launch trailer today. Take a gander with your eye holes below.

Despite all the content floating around out there, it was still hard for me to get a major read on how this game will turn out. This trailer seemingly filled that void. It has a major Asian mob movie feeling (DUUUUH). If you have ever seen City of Violence then you got an idea of what I’m getting at. The gameplay looks like it will please all the True Crime fans out there. I’m not saying this is a day one purchase but definitely keep it in your sights.

Revenge, Mrs. Chu Style In ‘Sleeping Dogs’ Latest Walkthrough Video

With the release of Sleeping Dogs looming, Square Enix decided to let loose another walkthrough video to tease us even more. This time, United Front Games’ Producer Dan Sochan narrates a mission that has Wei Shen doling out some street justice for Golden Koi’s owner, Mrs. Chu.

From the driving to the amazing combat scenarios that play out in the mission walkthrough, I am yearning to play Sleeping Dogs. All the points are hit for an action movie lover such as myself. Fast cars with the sense of darting in and out of traffic at really unsafe speeds, Seamless transitions from cutscene to action, fluid combat that makes Batman lurk in the dark filled with envy and story beats that any Hong Kong action film fan would be happy with. Ok, enough with the talking. Just push the damn button already!

 

Sleeping Dogs releases on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on August 14th, which is still not soon enough for me.
