A week ago I had the opportunity to interview some of the incredibly talented people behind Screen Junkies and their Honest Trailers. I got to sit down with creator Andy Signore and Writer/Geekscape alumni Joe Starr. We talk about the process of honest trailers, our favorite movies of the year so far, and more! If you want more Screen Junkies after the interview, give them a visit on their youtube channel or their website screenjunkies.com.

Briefly: We’re finally just a few days away from the anticipated (and already hated for some reason) release of Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot, and the hilarious team over at Screen Junkies has just released a hilarious Honest Trailer take on 2005’s Fantastic Four and 2007’s Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

Yep, those movies were pretty, pretty terrible. There are a ton of moments shown off over the course of this Honest Trailer that I’d long since forgotten, and now I just can’t stop thinking about them.

My favourite part? When it’s mentioned that everyone totally freaked out over a black Johnny Storm, but that a Latina Sue Storm was more than okay.

So, what do you think? Are you looking forward to the Fantastic Four reboot? Would you rather see the rights revert to Marvel? Sound out below!

Briefly: Screen Junkies Honest Trailers has to be one of my favourite series on YouTube, and now they’ve taken on one of my favourite films of the Summer, Pacific Rim.

It sure points out some (a lot of) glaring issues that the film may have had, but it also points out just how awesome it was.

Take a look at the latest instalment of Honest Trailers below, and let us know what you thought of Pacific Rim!
