Briefly: I’m really not sure how this one slipped past me, but as a huge fan of 2013’s open world zombie survival simulator, State of Decay, I’m damned excited for the sequel.

Microsoft debuted the first trailer for State of Decay 2 at this week’s E3 expo, and while the trailer reveals little in terms of actual details from the game, it clearly showcases just how important it’ll be to bring a few friends along for the ride.

Microsoft notes that “The next installment in the critically acclaimed “State of Decay” franchise immerses you in an all-new, multiplayer zombie survival fantasy. Build a lasting community, working with other players or solo to overcome challenges while exploring your own unique story in a world that remembers the choices you make.”

You can take a look at the trailer for the title below, and be sure to let us know what you think! State of Decay 2 will hit Xbox One and Windows 10 sometime in 2017!

Damn this is exciting news! Last October a few images leaked, for a new first person XBLA game called Star Wars: First Assault, and just recently the guys over at Kotaku were able to release details on the game. Most intriguing bit of news was that is supposed to be a predecessor to the long lost Battlefront III. Well today, we got our hands on some leaked footage from the game, also from our friends at Kotaku.

That is some crazy cool looking stuff right there! We get a peak of some new weapons, and what looks like a riot shield from long, long ago. The one thing I feel comfortable speculating is one of the game types, it appears that there will be a bomb transport gametype, like the one in Team Fortress 2.

No other news has been put out/leaked as of yet, but what we got in the last few days is AWESOME! Being a hardcore Battlefront I and II fan, I cannot be more excited!

A recent trailer has surfaced for the rumored open world sanbox zombie game that would be out on XBLA. Turns out it’s called “State of Decay” and it looks pretty damn rad. Look with me.

The game puts you in the middle of a just happened zombie apocalypse and forces players to rebuild society. It basically is your time to test your zombie survival plans.

UndeadLabs created an interesting take on the zombie game. The world is an ever changing sandbox over run with monsters and you have to figure out how to survive. You find a proper base to fortify and plan your days. You can go look for weapons, food or build defenses. They say the world changes on your actions. Resources will deplete and activity will attract the horde.

You can even modify your base with things that will make survival better. Look at this little build of the construction mode in the game.

No word on the release date yet but it will be out on XBLA and PC. We will keep you up to date when more info gets out. This looks REALLY promising.

Today the chaps over at Ubisoft released a seven minute walkthrough of one of the missions in Assassin’s Creed 3. This particular one shows off the new combat system, tree navigation and player weapons. Check it out below.

The Pre-E3 hype machine is running on all cylinders as Lucasarts sent out this teaser image of their new, mature themed Star Wars game: Star Wars 1313

The game takes place on level 1313. A criminal haven deep underground on Coruscant. You take control of a new bounty hunter as you hunt down your contracts and are trying to  figure out a huge criminal conspiracy.

The emphasis in this Star Wars game is on gadgets, weapons and tactics and not force powers. Think Dark Forces or Shadow of The Empire.

“We’re excited to share one of the projects LucasArts has been hard at work developing,” said Paul Meegan, President, LucasArts.  “Star Wars 1313 dives into a part of the Star Wars mythos that we’ve always known existed, but never had a chance to visit. We are committed to bringing the best gameplay experience and visual fidelity to life and I truly believe the work we are showcasing at E3 will speak for itself.”

Be sure to check out the  Starwars 1313 official site for more details, and keep and eye out for it at E3.
