With The Expendables 3 releasing to theaters on August 15, it is only fitting to see the team of bros in a game custom made for them. The Expendabros is a expansion just released for Devolver Digital’s fantastic side-scrolling shooter, Broforce. Not only is this expansion free, it’s also a stand-alone game meaning that you don’t need Broforce to play it.

All of your favorite Expendables get ‘bro-ified’ to romp around doing what they do best, killing. In addition to the new bros, The Expendabros has ten missions that could very well be mistaken as actual scenes for The Expendables 3 plot. Check out the launch trailer with Dolph Lundgren dropping some knowledge at the end.

The Expendabros remain free and available until December 31, 2015. After that, the bros will head back to the bar to tell tales of their brotastic adventures. Although you have a few months to get The Expendabros, you might as well download it right away since you know you’ll forget to do so until it’s too late.

Briefly: The film is now only a couple of months away from theatres, but Lionsgate has finally released the first theatrical trailer for The Expendables 3.

The trailer shows off all of the new (and familiar) faces that’ll appear in the new chapter, and also gives us a taste of the films’ sure-to-be-expansive plot. It seems as though The Expendables 3 will have the old dudes saving the new dudes, which I’m totally cool with.

Take a look at the trailer below, and let us know if you’re excited! The Expendables 3 hits theatres on August 15th!

Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team comes face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill… or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables — but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables’ most personal battle yet.

Briefly: Following the awesome set of character posters released just yesterday, LionsGate has just debuted a short new trailer for this Summer’s The Expendables 3.

The trailer, titled “roll call” is pretty self explanatory, as it takes us through the film’s stellar cast (while showing off a bit of action too).

Take a look at the preview below, and let us know what you think!

Briefly: We haven’t heard much from The Expendables 3 camp since the debut of its first teaser back in December, but today Lionsgate released 16 new character posters for the film.

The images feature the film’s expansive cast, who all look to be having an absolutely blast doing whatever it is that they’re doing, and they’re are stark reminder of just how bad-ass the film is set to be.

Briefly: The gang’s all here.

Lionsgate today debuted the very first teaser trailer for next year’s The Expendables 3. The teaser reveals nothing about the film aside from its stellar, gigantic (physically and in numbers) cast, but it’s still freaking bad-ass.

Harrison Ford, of course, has joined the crew, and so have a few other new faces (and plenty of returning old dudes). Take a look at the trailer below, and let us know what you think! The Expendables 3 hits theatres on August 15th, 2014!

Briefly: Just days after Sylvester Stallone revealed that Harrison Ford had joined The Expendables 3, and that Bruce Willis was “greedy” and “lazy” and would not be returning, the Patrick Hughes directed film has added two more players.

Stallone revealed today that Mel Gibson has signed on for a role, and will play the film’s antagonist. Antonio Banderas has also joined the project, though his role has not been specified.

The cast of The Expendables 3 keeps getting bigger and bigger, and I’m starting to wonder if the film can fit this many stars. The Expendables 3 has already added Jackie Chan, Nicolas Cage, Milla Jovovich, Wesley Snipes, and Harrison Ford to the crew, and I’m sure we’ll see even more additional casting before production wraps. Let us know what you think of the latest news, and if you’re looking forward to the film! The Expendables 3 hits theatres on August 15th, 2014.

Briefly: The ever evolving cast of The Expendables 3 changed once again today, both adding a new (and long sought after) player, and losing an already established one.

First, Sylvester Stallone revealed on twitter that Harrison Ford had been cast in the film… and that Bruce Willis would not be returning:

Just a few moments later, Stallone tweeted again, in what must be referencing a falling out between him and Willis:

And that’s that! The Expendables 3 has already added Jackie Chan, Nicolas Cage, Milla Jovovich, and Wesley Snipes to the crew, and I’m sure we’ll see even more additional casting before production wraps. Sylvester Stallone has been talking about bringing in some “fresh blood” to the next chapter in The Expendables franchise and it appears the first piece will come in the form of the director. Stallone has  just revealed via Twitter that relatively unknown Australian director Patrick Hughes (Red Hill) is set to direct The Expendables 3.

Stallone did also go on to reveal that he did attempt to get Mel Gibson to direct the movie and was also interested in Jon Woo but things didn’t quite work out. Both Jackie Chan and Wesley Snipes are also said to be on board for roles in the upcoming threequel, but haven’t confirmed their involvement yet.

They’ve been talking about it for awhile and now that he’s out of jail Sylvester Stallone has confirmed that Wesley Snipes is on board and will be joining the cast of The Expendables 3. Stallone tweeted the following:

Stallone also followed this up (with a now deleted tweet) stating:

“Wesley Snipes joined the crew tonight and that makes me damn happy. Hope Snipes brings his A-Game.”

Now that they’ve got Jackie Chan and Snipes on board, let’s see if they can pull of Nicolas Cage and Harrison Ford like they originally wanted as well. Seriously, they need the Cage Rage.

There’s been plenty of rumors regarding who would be joining the cast of the next film in The Expendables franchise. Many of these rumors have been shot down but we now have our first confirmed new cast member. At a press conference promoting his new movie CZ12, Jackie Chan has confirmed that he will be in the next film after being offered a role by Sylvester Stallone.

“Sly had invited me to be in The Expendables 2 but I was too busy filming CZ12 and couldn’t make a commitment to the film. But he did extend his invitation to the third movie, which I agreed on the condition that I will be appearing as more than just a minor role with a few scenes.”

Chan also revealed that he has told Stallone that he hoped the next film would “run along the lines of a ‘buddy-buddy’ movie if he’s in it, to which Sly obliged. The script for The Expendables 3 is currently in the works and we could possibly begin to hear even more casting announcements soon.

Just yesterday word spread around that internet that Nicolas Cage had been confirmed as a cast member of the upcoming The Expendables 3. Well, it appears that we have all been fooled. That’s never happened before right? Sylvester Stallone has contacted Deadline to state that those reports were false and he has “has no knowledge of Nic Cage joining Expendables 3.” Which, kind of sucks to be honest.

Apparently someone set that was pretending to be Stallone posted a message on a site claiming to be Sly Stallone’s Facebook page. This message included confirmation that Cage was on board for the third chapter in the franchise. Well, hopefully they can get the Cage Rage on board at some point. Come on, you know you want it just as much as I do.

Work on a third chapter in The Expendables series is already underway. However, there will be one lone wolf not returning for a third outting of blood and carnage. There is currently no reason given for his departure, but Chuck Norris will not be back for The Expendables 3. Maybe they told him they were contacting Liam Neeson and he feared for his own life? I am fully prepared for the repercussions of that statement.

Norris told Access Hollywood (via The Playlist):

“Nope. Just number 2. This is it for me…Oh, yeah. This is very special. Just to be able to do the film with guys I’ve known for many, many years. To get a chance to get in and fight with them, it was a lot of fun. Plus getting a chance to meet Terry Crews, who I hadn’t met before. And Jason Statham, whom I hadn’t met before. It was fun just to do that.”

The team behind The Expendables series has currently got their sights set on bringing Clint Eastwood, Harrison Ford and Wesley Snipes into the franchise with Nicolas Cage reported to have already signed on. But can these actors fill the void that Norrs will leave? Probably not. You know who can though? Liam Neeson. Oh, and can we get a little more Jet Li this time around? He was totally wasted again this time around. Cue the internet memes!

The Expendables 2 isn’t even in theaters yet and we are already hearing details about a third film in the franchise! Total Film sat down with producer Avi Lerner who revealed four stars that they’re trying to get in the sequel.

“We’ve approached Clint Eastwood to be one of the guys, we’ve got a character in mind for him. We’re talking to Harrison Ford. [And we want] Wesley Snipes when he comes back from prison. I’ll give you one more name, we’ve got Nicolas Cage to play [one of the characters].

And we’re going to bring Mickey Rourke back, if he won’t be too crazy. I like Mickey. And of course, all the existing stars [will return]”

Somewhere out there Geekscape writer Molly Mahan’s head just exploded. If they can pull this one off it’d be an incredible feat. Nic Cage has apparently already signed on and from the sounds of it Eastwood hasn’t said no yet to it. So, uh when do pre-sale tickets for The Expendables 3 go on sale?
