Elsa, the beloved Snow Queen of Disney’s blockbuster film Frozen, will soon get a figma in her likeness thanks to Good Smile Company and Max Factory. This isn’t the first piece of merchandise from the movie to be crafted by this group; both Anna and Elsa were sold as Nendoroids in the past. However, I think can safely say this figma is the most impressive of the Frozen figures. Without further ado, let’s take a look at her.

figma Elsa - Let it go

Given that figma allow you to switch up facial expressions (and pose the figure as well), there is of course a singing face included. I can practically hear “Let It Go” in my head.

Before we move on, take a moment to appreciate the details in this figure. The shimmering bodice and cape are especially impressive. I also dig the icy high heels.

figma Elsa - snow magic

Here we see Elsa’s second face, a sidelong glance. She comes with two ice magic effect parts. Note, her legs are visible through the slit in her dress.

figma Elsa with Olaf

Elsa is also bundled with an articulated Olaf figure. His arms are posable and his eyes can be moved. This photo also shows Elsa’s smiling face.

That cape is seriously impressive!

figma Elsa is available to pre-order now for ¥7,000 (before tax) and is scheduled to release this December. The figure’s listing has been spotted at AmiAmi and HobbyLink Japan.

Now that Anime Expo has come and gone, and as we gear up for Comic Con this week, what kind of jerks would be be if we didn’t share the incredible cosplay from the event?

From Monster Hunter to Hyperdimension Neptunia. Blazblue to Phoenix Wright. And of course, there was plenty of Sailor Moon at the show. Check out the best of AX 2014’s cosplay, and stick with Geekscape as we move on to Comic Con!

Disney has just released the first teaser for Frozen, their new animated film set to hit theatres this November.

The preview reveals little about the feature, and simply introduces us to two of the secondary characters in the film, Olaf the snowman, and Sven the reindeer. It’s a pretty hilarious introduction, and should garner a lot of excitement from any child (well, and adult) who gets a chance to see it.

Take a look at the teaser below, and let us know what you think! Again, Frozen stars Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, Idina Menzel, and more, and hits theatres on November 27th!

In “Frozen,” fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell ) teams up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff ) and his loyal reindeer Sven in an epic journey, encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf in a race to find Anna’s sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.
