Bryant Dillon is a longtime friend of Geekscape, mainly as one of the heads of indie publisher and news outlet Fanboy Comix! Now, Bryant returns to the show to announce their new branding as Fanbase Press! Bryant talks to us about the decisions going into the change and what it means for their fans! We also discuss my recent but undeniable addiction to Nintendo’s Miitomo app and Kenny fills us in on the VR title ‘Adr1ft’! And of course, what was up with that season finale of ‘The Walking Dead’?

Briefly: The first trailer for 505 Games next title, Adr1ft has hit the web a little earlier than its E3 debut.

The game “is an immersive First Person Experience (FPX) that tells the story of an astronaut in peril. Floating silently amongst the wreckage of a destroyed space station with no memory and a severely damaged EVA suit slowly leaking oxygen, the only survivor struggles to determine the cause of the catastrophic event that took the lives of everyone on board. The player fights to stay alive by exploring the wreckage for precious resources, and overcomes the challenges of an unforgiving environment to repair the damaged EEV and safely return home.”

It basically sounds like Gravity: The Game, and that’s so awesome. This seriously looks like it could be an incredible experience.

The title is slated for September on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and the PC version even includes freaking Oculus support. I can’t even imagine trying that (though if I had a computer capable I would totally love to).

Take a look at the first trailer below, and let us know what you think! If you’re looking for more from 505 Games, we had Brandon Cox on the show late last year!
