We live in strange times. Strange times indeed.

Snowden is the stylized, “Hollywood” take on the Edward Snowden story. EX-CIA contractor who leaked documents detailing a global surveillance program perpetrated by the NSA. It was such a perverse invasion of privacy that it spurred countless investigations into the US Government, many of which are still going on today.

TL;DR NSA has your dick pics. Seriously.

Check out the trailer for Snowden.

I really don’t feel too “right” about this movie. Joseph Gordon Levitt does a TERRIBLE job impersonating Edward Snowden, and Zachary Quinto as Glenn Greenwald?

This is going to attempt to distill a very important story down into a 2 hour drama. Why all the sex? Why all the weird “hacking” graphics? I feel like director Oliver Stone was attempting to recreate the famous Hack The Gibson scene from Hackers.

It’s the Julian Assange story all over again.

Snowden hits theaters September 16th. Do yourself a favor and see Citizenfour first.

Briefly: Alright, as not good as 2007’s Hitman was, this year’s reboot looks pretty bad-ass, and as neat as it would have been to see Paul Walker in the role of Agent 47, Rupert Friend looks like he’s killing it.

Fox has just debuted the first clip for the upcoming film via EW, and it’s an action-packed scene that really excites me for the upcoming release (and for Friend’s performance).

Could Agent 47 be the first good video game movie we’ve seen in years? I guess we’ll find out in a few weeks!

Take a look at the clip below, and let us know if you’re looking forward to the film! Agent 47 hits theatres on August 21st!

Fox has just debuted a new trailer for the film, riding on the coattails of last week’s Hitman E3 announcement, and it’s filled with action-packed new footage that actually really excites me for the August release.

Take a look at the trailer below, and let us know if you’re looking forward to the film! Agent 47 hits theatres on August 21st!

OH Hitman! Hitman, Hitman, Hitman, Hitman. Oh, Hitman. What an interesting series of events that lead us to here, and this trailer.

Hitman: Agent 47 is a “remake?” of sorts, of the 2007 film Hitman. That film, starring Timothy Olyphant, wasn’t even close to a critical success (but still a damn fun film to watch). They had such high hopes for it though! Sequels were planned and quickly crushed as the movie came and went out of theaters, even though Ebert gave it a 3/4 Star review!

Then way way back in 2013, Fox made a big old announcement that they were going to REMAKE the film and have Paul Walker star as the titular Hitman. Sadly later that year Paul Walker passed away in a car accident, and shortly thereafter Rupert Friend was attached to the film as the bald assassin. Not much else was said about the film, UNTIL NOW!

To be honest? I have no idea what to expect from this trailer. Is 47 a good guy or a bad guy? Is Zachary Quinto’s acting going to be that stale through the WHOLE film? Are the visual effects going to be improved? Why were there so many god damned blue sedans on that street? SO MANY QUESTIONS!

I will always support a video game film, even if I know it’s going to be garbage. So I’ll probably see it some lazy Saturday matinee with a flask in my pocket.

Hitman: Agent 47 is set to hit theaters August 28, 2015.

Briefly: Agent 47 has just signed its second actor.

Heroes and Star Trek star Zachary Quinto has joined the project in an unknown role. He joins Homeland’s Rupert Friend in the film, who replaces the late Paul Walker as Agent 47.

The Hitman reboot, Agent 47 will be directed by Aleksander Bach. We’ll be sure to share more news on this one as further information comes to light! Who else would you like to see join the project?

Quinto

So season two of American Horror Story on FX has just added their second returning cast member from the first year, as it is confirmed by Deadline.com that Zachary Quinto (who guest starred on a handful of episodes last season) will return to the show this year as the male lead. Instead of a haunted house in Los Angeles, the location for season two will instead by a haunted hospital on the east coast. This is the second cast member from year one coming back to the series, as it was previously confirmed that also returning to the show is Jessica Lange, who will be playing an all new part as well.

American Horror Story producer Ryan Murphy was very wise to keep Jessica Lange, the show’s most versatile actress. And they were just as smart to keep Quinto, whose star is certainly on the rise lately with the Star Trek movies. The anthology format allows these actors to show the same audience their acting range by playing different parts.

It should be noted that the double bill of openly gay Quinto and beloved-by-her-LGBT- fanbase Lange has officially made American Horror Story  THE gayest show on television. Yes, even more than Murphy’s own Glee. Hey Murphy, why not add Cher to the cast next season? And yes, I’m totally serious. You know it would be fabulous.
