Her voice can be heard on a ton of video games and cartoons, ranging from ‘Halo 5’ to ‘World of Warcraft’ to ‘Final Fantasy XIII’ to the new ‘Tales From The Borderlands’! Now, actress Laura Bailey can be heard on Geekscape talking about all things gaming and the process of bringing some of these characters to life! We talk about playing Chun Li in ‘Street Fighter’ and Black Widow on ‘Avengers Assemble’ and what old school game Laura would love to see come back! I reveal the first time I asked a girl out and how poorly it went and how it was almost as bad as peeing my pants at the Nintendo Championships! Laura makes me feel better by telling me she was the biggest geek in her school! PLUS! ‘Man From UNCLE’, ‘Straight Outta Compton’ and ‘The Gift’ are a great time at the theaters!

The next game in the Batman Arkham series hits next week with ‘Batman: Arkham Origins’! But this time there are some changes! Developer Rocksteady Games has given way to Warner Brothers Montreal and both Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill have been replaced as Batman and The Joker! Luckily, I think we’re in really good hands, as new Batman voice actor Roger Craig Smith can attest to on this episode as he talks about becoming the Dark Knight, the difference in playing him as opposed to Captain America on Disney’s ‘Avengers Assemble’ and how he got into voice over work to begin with! There’s also a ton more, include a call from ‘Airwolf’ writer David Gorden to talk about the new comic’s release and guest co-host Andrew Duvall from SyFy’s ‘Fangasm’!

Disney XD’s Marvel Universe block is less than two months from getting a new addition, and the first trailer for Avengers Assemble has just debuted online. The show looks decent… but it probably won’t make up for the cancelation of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

Avengers Assemble will premiere on Disney XD on July 7th, but you can download the first episode on iTunes right now! Take a look at the trailer below, and let us know if you’re looking forward to the show!

An animated series parallel to the record-breaking blockbuster movie Marvel’s The Avengers, “Avengers Assemble” sees Iron Man leading the team of mightiest heroes – Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow and newcomer Falcon – who combine their powers to battle threats no single hero could overcome. When the Avengers assemble, evil doesn’t stand a chance. The voice cast includes: Adrian Pasdar (“Heroes”) as Iron Man, Fred Tatasciore (“Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness”) reprising his role as Hulk, Roger Craig Smith (Wreck-It Ralph) as Captain America, Travis Willingham (“Shelf Life”) as Thor, Troy Baker (“Ultimate Spider-Man”) as Hawkeye, Laura Bailey (“The Super Hero Squad Show”) as Black Widow and Bumper Robinson (“The Game”) as Falcon. Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau and Steven T. Seagle of Man of Action Studios (“Ben 10,” “Generator Rex”) will serve as executive producers.

For awhile it was rumoured that Mark Waid would be taking over Avengers Assemble from current writer Brian Michael Bendis later this year. But the following teaser image released a little bit ago by Marvel seems to indicate that just may not be the case. Instead it looks like we will see Kelly Sue DeConnick (Captain Marvel) and Stefano Caselli (Amazing Spider-Man) will be teaming up to take on the series this November! And that’s a pretty good team right there!
