Thinking of taking a break this weekend from farming gear in Diablo III? If so, Blizzard would like to remind you that today is the birthday of your favorite action role-playing game. Even though you forgot all about El Diablo’s birthday and you didn’t even get him a funny card, he still loves you. To show it, starting today and finishing on May 22, special in-game bonuses will be active for all players in Diablo III.

First off, rift fragments will be doubled. This will be handy since rift runs are how most people farm for the legendary item drops post game. On top of the double fragments, a boost of 100% to your chance of finding those treasured legendary drops you spend countless hours a day grinding to obtain. I guess the break you might have wanted to take will be postponed for a little, huh?
