Every year the Golden Globes come and go, and every year a select few walk away with the fancy awards.

The list of nominee’s have officially been released, and the lineup is quite interesting! This is going to be an exciting award show. I personally hope to see  Deadpool walk away with a couple Globes.

The 75th Golden Globes air January 8th and is hosted by Jimmy Fallon (Editors Note: Can we have a drinking game for all his fake laughter/outbursts?).

And that’s it! What are you thoughts? Are there any nominees that you think should be dropped from the list; or any that should be added? Let us know!

Tonight, thousands of pretty and talented Hollywood bigwigs gathered to give recognition to the best performances, films, shorts, and television series’ of 2013. Ricky Gervais hosted this year’s gathering, and has already apologized for his actions and antics at this year’ ceremony.

Actually, he apologized for them last week:

This year’s ceremony was a blast to watch, and as much as I missed Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, Ricky Gervais is always a stellar host (even if those Mel Gibson jokes were a bit scary).

Here are all of the winners from this year’s Golden Globes, including well deserved wins for Brie Larson, the funniest movie of 2015, The Martian, an incredible standing ovation from Sylvester Stallone, a fantastic speech from Leo, and much, much more! Today I learned that The Martian was a Comedy / Musical.

In all seriousness though, the Golden Globe nominations for 2015 have been revealed, and its damned clear that it’s going to be a tight race this year. It was another amazing year for television and cinema, and while there are certainly some surprises on this list, I really, really can’t wait to see who takes home the gold.

Could it finally be Leo’s year? Will Fury Road win Best Picture? What’s going to happen!? I guess we’ll find out when the Ricky Gervais-hosted ceremony airs on January 10th!

Here’s the full list of nominations!

Where’s Ex Machina?

Its that time of year again, the 67th annual Emmy Nominations have been announced!
Looks like online television is coming in full force this year, with online only shows having multiple contenders in all the top categories. With the additions of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Bloodline, it seems like Netflix is set to give HBO a run for its money. Amazon has also entered the Emmy foray with Transparent also receiving Nominations.

Birdman

Briefly: Well, the Oscars are over for another year, and I’m pretty bummed out that I didn’t get to watch this year (the livestreams were neither live nor streaming unfortunately). I heard that Ellen did an excellent job hosting (as always), and that the entire ceremony was very well produced.

Now, who won!? Take a look at the full list of winners below, and be sure to let us know who you’re glad took home the gold, who you’re disappointed didn’t, and anything else about this year’s Oscars that you may want to share!

There you go! Again, be sure to let us know what you thought of the ceremony in the comments below. In other news, this is now the most retweeted photo of all time!

Tonight, thousands of pretty and talented Hollywood bigwigs gathered to give recognition to the best performances, films, shorts, and television series’ of 2012. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted this year’s gathering, and though I haven’t yet watched the presentation myself, I’ve heard nothing but positive things about the duo.

Of course each year has its standout moments (aside from all the winners of course). This year twitter is ripe with folks who, instead of talking about awards and snubs, are chatting about Jodi Foster’s emotional acceptance speech, and an angry Tommy Lee Jones. Check out Jodi’s speech below, and head here for Tommy’s already famous face:

Of course, along with all of that fun stuff, there were also movie awards! Check out the complete list of winners below, and let us know what you thought of the show!

Jennifer Lawrence sure is great, but I'm glad her movie didn't win best picture.

It was very interesting to see something other than Mad Men win the best drama category. Homeland has to be pretty awesome to beat out all the others. I’ll definitely be checking that one out.

Also, do people actually find Jon Cryer funny?

It was also great to see Aaron Paul finally get some recognition. That guy is golden.

What are your thoughts? Do you agree with the awards and nominations? Are you angry that Community only had one nomination?

Thanks to CinemaBlend for the list.
