Just beat the game’s event course and the costume will be yours for the taking. Check out a course playthrough from Gamexplain showing off the level. What’s your favorite costume in the game so far?

Did you know that legendary game designer John Romero pitched a PC port of Mario to Nintendo?

This morning, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the popular DOS game ‘Commander Keen’, John Romero decided to look back through his archives and find an unreleased pitch to Nintendo for a PC port of ‘Super Mario Bros. 3’. It’s a very interesting thing to watch and imagine what could have happened if it was accepted. What do you think of the video? Do you think it would have been as good as it’s NES counterpart? Frog MarioWhile all of us were enjoying a nice Thanksgiving meal with family last night, it seems like Nintendo decided to sneakingly give us a new event course for Super Mario Maker.

This event course in particular is named NES Remix and is based off the Wii U game of the same title. After the completion of the course you will receive a mystery mushroom that’s a bit different than the others. This one is the Frog Mario outfit, and it more or less functions exactly how it would in Super Mario Bros. 3. The only real disappointing thing is that  since this is only a costume, it can only be used in the original Super Mario Bros. art style.

Are you excited for the inclusion of the Frog Suit? Comment below and check out an awesome video tour of the costume by Gamexplain!
