An awesome new behind-the-scenes trailer for Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us has just been released. The video features The Last of Us creative director Neil Druckmann (who also wrote the awesome prequel comic) and director Bruce Straley, and explains the inspiration for the many infected that the game features.

I’ve been thoroughly impressed with every piece of media we’ve seen from the game, and this one is no different. It’s easy to see just how proud and heartfelt the two are when talking about the title, and I cannot wait to experience the fruits of Naughty Dog’s labour.

Watch the new trailer below, and let us know what you think! The Last of Us releases on June 14th.

If you’ve been keeping up with the consistent coverage we’ve been giving Naughty Dog’s upcoming survival/horror/action title, The Last of Us, then you know full well just how excited we are for its release. Every image, every trailer, every clip has been utterly fantastic, and coming from a studio like Naughty Dog, it’s easy to see that The Last of Us is set to be one of the best games of 2013.

To get you up to speed in this terrifying new world, Neil Druckmann, lead writer on The Last of Us, and comic artist/writer/sensation Faith Erin Hicks have crafted a prequel tale that introduces us to the game’s heroine, Ellie, and takes us through her post-apocolypic journey (which of course, eventually leads us to Joel and the events of the game).

Issue #1 of the four issue miniseries is now available at your local comic store. If you’re a digital reader (or outside of North America), you’ll have to wait until April 10th when American Dreams hits Dark Horse Digital.

Take a peek at some preview pages from issue one below! Already pick the book up? Let us know how it is! The Last of Us releases worldwide on June 14th.

Late last night, Naughy Dog released an affective new red band trailer for their upcoming title, The Last of Us. This new preview definitely gives us a better sense of the main characters and mentalities in the game, and seems to cover quite the span of time. The game’s plot is further elaborated in this video as well, and as expected, sounds intriguing as hell.

The Last of Us looks absolutely incredible, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. Watch the new trailer below, and let us know what you think! The Last of Us releases worldwide on June 14th.

Sigh… first Bioshock Infinite suffered numerous delays, and now this.

Naughty Dog revealed today that their upcoming survival-adventure, The Last of Us will be coming a few weeks later than expected. The game was initially set to hit store shelves on May 7th, but that date has been pushed back to June 14th.

The Last of Us looks absolutely phenomenal. In my opinion, Naughty Dog can take all the time they need, I’ll be picking this one up on day one regardless.

Read the press release below, and let us know if you’ll be buying the game!

The Last of Us is an ambitious project. In many ways it may be Naughty Dog’s most ambitious project to date – brand new universe and cast of characters, brand new tech, brand new genre, not to mention it’s easily the longest campaign Naughty Dog has ever made.

As we entered the final phase of development for The Last of Us, we came to realize just how massive Joel and Ellie’s journey is. But instead of cutting corners or compromising our vision, we came to the tough decision that the game deserved a few extra weeks to ensure every detail of The Last of Us was up to Naughty Dog’s internal high standards.

As a team we pride ourselves on setting a very high quality bar for every aspect of our games – gameplay, story, art, design, technology and more. We want to make sure The Last of Us raises that bar even further – for ourselves, and most importantly, for you, our fans.

The extra wait will be very short and your patience will be rewarded. Update your calendars. You won’t even have to change seasons. The Last of Us will be available June 14th, 2013. Until then, know that we will be working extremely hard to deliver an experience that matches your high expectations.

Ever since The Last of Us was announced all the way back in December of last year, I’ve been eagerly awaiting each piece of footage, every bit of news, every single image… you get the picture: I’m excited as hell for this game.

As many of you are aware, just four nights ago Spike TV aired their annual Video Game Awards (the very same awards where The Last of Us was announced). A new trailer for the game was shown, and the official release date was also announced! The Last of Us will hit shelves on May 17th, 2012.

That very same preview has now officially been release online! Check it out below, and let us know what you think!

Honestly, The Last of Us looks absolutely incredible. I’m still bewildered that any game from this generation can even look like this. I cannot wait to get my hands on it!

Just out of Cologne is a trailer for Naughty Dogs newest game, The Last of Us. This is the most uncomfortable yet “I-can’t-look-away” trailer I’ve seen all year. This game is the reason I will go buy a PS3. Watch with me.

The Last of Us doesn’t have a release date yet, but check out the official website for more details and to pre-order the game.

From the same studio that brought you Uncharted comes a new take on the post-apocalyptic genre and an action-packed title. The Last of Us is brutal, beautiful, and driven by a combination of action and suspense.

Ideally, you’d have one badass friend alongside you to help you survive a post-apocalyptic world. In The Last of Us,  your sidekick is a teenage girl who is severely desensitized to the brutal behavior displayed by yourself and enemies.

The Last of Us is definitely one to look out for, and I will be doing just that starting tomorrow. Check out the gameplay trailer and some screenshots below!
