The Pokémon series has had Teams Rocket, Aqua, Magma, Galactic, Plasma, and Flare. Now get ready for Sun and Moon‘s Team Skull! The team was introduced in today’s trailer. Give it a look below:

This trailer not only introduces Team Skull but also the minds behind the Grunts, Admin Plumeria and Boss Guzma. We get a hint that Guzma and our Pokémon Professor Kukui have some sort of shared backstory. On a side note, Team Skull’s theme music is sort of grating. I hope it is one of those tunes that grows on you or is kept to a minimum (the latter is doubtful).

We were also treated to several new Pokémon reveals in the trailer. The first one shown is a curious Water-type called Wishiwashi. It has the ability, “Schooling,” which allows it to go from its “Solo Form” to a “School Form.” Conditions for this transformation, which appear to take place during battle, weren’t clear.

Next was the Water-type Pyukumuku, whose design was based on the “Sea Bunny” slug. It has the ability “Innards Out.”

The mushroom-like Morelull, a Grass/Fairy-type, is a pun on the morel mushroom.

Finally, we get to three Pokémon that will receive Alola Forms: Raichu, Meowth, and Marowak. Alola Form Raichu is an Electric/Psychic-type, whose ability, “Surge Surfer,” doubles its speed when Electric Terrain is active. Alola Form Meowth is a Dark-type. And Alola Form Marowak is a Fire/Ghost-type. It’s design and movements appear to be based on the fire dancers of Hawaii.

Wow! That is a lot to digest. What do you think of this new trailer? Let us know in the comments!

Ratchet & Clank for the PS4 launches in a little less than a month, and to get you pumped up for the release, Insomniac has released a new story trailer. What do you think about the trailer? Yesterday we reported that some info on Microsoft HoloLens had prematurely leaked.

Along with this came a game by the name of Young Conker, and it being a potential new Conker game made people excited. Well, now a trailer for the game is out. Let’s take a look at it shall we?

OH DEAR LORD!, WHAT IS THAT!?! I’ve seen some unsettling character designs in video games, but I think this one takes the cake. Aside from the traumatic change, the game looks to be more a tech demo than an actual full length game which is slightly disappointing. What do you think about Young Conker? Are you interested in trying it out?

The announcement poster is very reminiscent to Game Informer’s Max Payne 3 cover, and I love it.

About 3 years ago, an indie studio by the name of Vblank Entertainment released an indie game by the name of Retro City Rampage.

The game was essentially an 8-bit parody of the Grand Theft Auto series and was received generally well. Now the same same studio is back and they’re cranking up the graphics dial to a full 16 bits! With better graphics, destructible environments, and more, what not to be hyped about? Head of Vblank Entertainment Brian Provinciano announced the game this morning.

Shakedown Hawaii brings the Vblank open world universe into the 16-bit era, powered up with destructible environments and an arsenal of supercharged weapons. Taking place some thirty years after the events of Retro City Rampage, the game follows The Player as he comes out of early retirement to rebuild his neglected corporate empire.

The game is set to be shown off at the Playstation Experience in San Francisco California from December 5th-6th. Check out the trailer for the game below! Shakedown Hawaii doesn’t currently have a release date, but will be released for PC, and Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo devices.
