Geekscape 484: Catching Up And Catching Gremlins With Cooper Barnes!

‘Henry Danger’ star Cooper Barnes is a longtime Geekscapist and one of the only superheros that we can also call our friend (most are our enemies)! Before he suits up for a fifth season as Captain Man, Cooper drops by Geekscape to talk about whether or not this will be the show’s final season, how Nickelodeon broke it to him that Captain Man’s name won’t be in the title of the Henry Danger cartoon spin off and talk to us about Gremlins. Actually, about 80% of this episode is Cooper and I talking about Gremlins and working through the plotline of our proposed ‘Gremlins 3’ movie. And of course we talk some ‘Infinity War’ and a couple of other things. But yeah, it’s almost entirely Gremlins. Have fun.

Is It Rude To Say Hobbit? Check Out Cooper Barnes’ New Music Video ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Rap’

Remember our friend Cooper Barnes? We featured him all the way back on Geekscape 246, where he and Jonathan spoke of everything from SNL Auditions to The Men’s Room and even Anthony Hemingway’s Red Tails. It’s a great episode with a very interesting guest, so if you haven’t heard it I implore you to do so!

Today Cooper and the folks from Turtle Island Comedy released a new parody music video based on the upcoming mega-hit The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. The video is titled The Hobbit: An Unexpected Rap, and it’s wonderful, so check it out!

I’ve wanted to have my friend Cooper Barnes back on the show for a long time now. You guys might remember him from an episode from a few months ago. Well, that was before he auditioned for Saturday Night Live, a story that I had to have him come on the show and tell. Also, Cooper talks about his upcoming pilot The Men’s Room and says that Red Tails is actually pretty good! Enjoy!
