New International ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Trailer Features Plenty Of New Footage!

Briefly: It seems like we just can’t get enough The Amazing Spider-Man today! First, two spinoff films were announced (head here for that one), and now a new international trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has hit the web, and it’s substantially better than the domestic trailer released earlier this week.

This trailer gives us more of everything. We get a better look at all of the film’s villains (and the Green Goblin STILL looks dumb), see more interaction between Peter and Aunt May than we saw in the entire first film, and even Emma Stone’s Gwen Stacey gets a (cute) line in. This preview leaves me a little more hopeful for the full feature than the earlier trailer did, and as always, that suit looks bad-ass in motion.

Take a look at the international trailer below, and let us know what you think! The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theatres on May 2nd!

We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.
