Briefly: I never thought that I’d see the word ‘Stabby’ in a TV spot… but here we are.

A new clip for next week’s London Has Fallen has just hit the web, and… well, based on the word ‘Stabby’, you can probably guess what happens.

In the film, After the British Prime Minister passes away, his funeral becomes a target of a terrorist organization to destroy some of the world’s most powerful leaders, devastate the British capital, and unleash a terrifying vision of the future. The only hope of stopping it rests on the shoulders of the President of the United States (Aaron Eckhart) and his formidable Secret Service head (Gerard Butler), and an English MI-6 agent (Charlotte Riley) who rightly trusts no one. Morgan Freeman also stars as the Vice President of the United States.

You can take a look at the new clip below, and be sure to let us know if you’re looking forward to the sequel! London Has Fallen hits theatres on March 4th!

Briefly: It’s about damned time.

I was completely blown away by 2013’s Olympus Has Fallen. The Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, and Aaron Eckhart starring action flick surprised me with its fantastic cast, intriguing plot, gorgeous effects, and actual edge-of-your-seat action.

That said, I was pretty excited when a sequel, London Has Fallen, was announced quickly after the first film destroyed its box office expectations.

London Has Fallen was quickly delayed, however, and aside from a neat poster depicting the destruction of Big Ben, we haven’t heard much out of the Babak Najafi directed production.

Until today! The first trailer for the film has just hit the internet, and while not as immediately exciting as the marketing for Olympus Has Fallen was, it looks as though London Has Fallen could offer us another completely surprising action flick. Or it could be really terrible.

In any case, it probably can’t be as bad as the last Die Hard, and I’m really looking forward to seeing Butler and Freeman on screen together again.

Take a look at the first trailer below, and let us know what you think! London Has Fallen hits theatres on March 4th, 2016!

Briefly: Just days after the Matt Damon headliner The Martian (watch the first trailer here) was pulled forward to October 2nd, Olympus Has Fallen follow-up London Has Fallen has been pushed from that date… all the way to 2016.

Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, and Morgan Freeman all return for the sequel, which will now hit theatres on January 22nd, 2016.

Olympus Has Fallen was an absolute blast, and really came out of nowhere for me. I’m not quite sure how I feel about this follow-up, but I’m more than willing to give it a chance. Are you looking forward to the film? Sound out in the comments below!

Peter Farrelly is a comedy legend. He and his brother Bobby brought us ‘Dumb and Dumber’, ‘There’s Something About Mary’, ‘Kingpin’ and a ton of other modern comedy classics. In this mini-sode, I got a chance to talk to Peter about his upcoming ‘Movie 43’ and how they put together the star studded cast. Film District today released the first trailer for their upcoming star-filled action Olympus Has Fallen.

The movie looks like a fun ride for sure, and with quite the cast to boot; stars include Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart, Angeka Bassett, and plenty more!

Could this be a comeback to the action world for Gerard Butler? After 300 in 2006, I thought he was the coolest, and now it seems as though nearly everything he’s attached to is simply laughable. Hopefully Olympus Has Fallen turns out at least half-decent.

Check out the trailer below, and let us know what you think! Olympus Has Fallen shoots its way into theatres on March 22nd.

For quite some time this movie was on the “is it really even happening?” list. That was up until Warner Bros. announced that 300: Battle Of Artemisia would be hitting theaters on August 2, 2013. During the early development for Warner Bros.’ upcoming follow-up there was an interest in bringing back Gerard Butler’s King Leonidas for a cameo appearance. And now with production underway for the film, many have been wondering if Butler was still making an appearance. If you were one of the fans that was hoping that he would I have some bad news for you. During a recent interview with MTV, Butler stated:

“Oh, yeah, I’m not doing it. They’re filming [the ‘300’ sequel] right now. I wish them the best, but it didn’t [work out]. It wasn’t really my thing.”

While it would havebeen cool to see him come back in the film, I doubt that it will any difference as far as ticket sales are concerned. Let’s see if this film can live up to the first one. The story, based on Frank Miller’s Xerxes graphic novel, follows the Persian king’s struggle to become a god, as well as his battles with Greek warlord Themistocles.

300: Battle Of Artemisia makes its way into theaters August 2nd, 2013.
