I met Ronald Ross several years ago and we immediately hit it off because he has an enormous love of old Hollywood. And he should… he was there for some of it! Now, whenever I visit my mother in Santa Fe, I make it a point to drop in with Ronald to hear how he’s doing and to listen to some of his stories. Howard Hawks! The old studio system! Humphrey Bogart! The rise of television! Parties at Uncle Forry’s house! And so much more! And why don’t they make pictures like this anymore?
