Remember the days when you were scared to use the toilet? When you you were certain there was something evil lurking just below the porcelain bowl, waiting….just waiting…to EAT. YOUR. BUTT. Feels like yesterday to the HMN boys (and probably WAS yesterday for at least one of them). Join them this week as they discuss 1988’s Ghoulies II! Bring your drunk uncle, your stripper with a heart of gold, and your bigger monster to defeat the smaller monsters, cuz it’s another carnival-themed episode of Horror Movie Night!

Late last night, Lego revealed a new, super-cool set that’s due out soon. It’s set 10244 and is called Lego Fairground Mixer.

Created by MDKGraphicsEngine - Licensed to LEGO System A/S

Here’s some information directly from Lego:

“The LEGO Group is bringing the thrill of the carnival via the announcement of the LEGO® Fairground Mixer this Saturday! The set was designed by renown product designer Jamie Berard and it perfectly encapsulates the typical experience at the fair just in time for summer. (Berard also designed the amazing CREATOR Sydney Opera House, Sopwith Camel, and the Tower Bridge sets.)”

It’s a really cool set for anyone who loves Legos and local fairs. It has a ride similar to the Tilt-A-Whirl, plus a bunch of stands. My personal favorites are the dunk tank and the strength tester:

dunkAlso super cool is the fact that the whole thing can be put onto the trucks for transport, just like a real traveling carnival:

I still love the Lego DeLoreon and Lego Simpsons House more. But it’s a really fun set and I can’t wait to get it.

Here’s a video with the creator describing the set:
