This is fantastic news. Suits is one of the best dramas on television, and there really isn’t a series that I look forward to more each week. It seems as though almost everyone I speak to has never heard of the show, so if you haven’t I implore you to check it out.

Take a look at the full press release below, and let us know just how much you’re enjoying the show! Suits will return sometime in 2014!

USA Network announced today a 16-episode fourth season renewal of the critically-acclaimed original drama SUITS. Additionally, creator and showrunner Aaron Korsh has signed an overall deal with Universal Cable Productions to continue his work on SUITS and to develop new scripted series.

“As a leading cable drama, SUITS is at the top of its game and continues to grow in the key demographics, drawing a passionate, young and loyal audience,” said Chris McCumber, President of USA Network. “Aaron Korsh consistently pushes the boundaries of storytelling and the series promises to deliver a provocative fourth season.”

“From the beginning, we’ve seen SUITS as a long term player for the studio and we look forward to extending our relationship with Aaron. Harvey, Mike and the rest of the SUITS crew are characters that have created a dedicated and enthusiastic audience,” said Jeff Wachtel, President and Chief Content Officer, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment and head of UCP.

In third quarter, SUITS was among the top 5 in P18-49 and the top 10 in P25-54 in all of TV’s primetime scripted series. The drama was the #1 scripted series on television, broadcast or cable, Tuesday nights among P18-49. The series centers on a fast-paced Manhattan corporate law firm led by legendary lawyer Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and his brilliant, but not-technically-legal associate Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams). From Universal Cable Productions, SUITS also stars Rick Hoffman (“Samantha Who”), Gina Torres (“Firefly”), Sarah Rafferty (“Brothers & Sisters”) and Meghan Markle (“CSI Miami”).

Season three of SUITS continues in first quarter 2014 following the Olympics, with the capitivating final six episodes, featuring guest star appearances by the most decorated Olympian of all-time, Michael Phelps (who happens to be a SUITS fan) and Gabriel Macht’s famous father, Stephen Macht (“The Monster Squad,” “General Hospital”). Picking up in the wake of an emotional and shattering murder trial, Harvey (G. Macht) and Jessica (Torres) address the firm’s future, while Louis (Hoffman) threatens to expose the truth about Mike (Adams).

The entire series to-date will be available for binge viewing via video-on-demand and TVEverywhere leading up to the mid-season premiere this winter.

This season, USA broke new digital ground as it rolled out innovative social and digital engagements including second screen syncs for every episode. Leading into the premiere, USA was the first network to partner with Tinder, a social discovery app, which introduced SUITS characters into people’s match stream. This generated a recording-setting half a million matches in four weeks. The network also rolled out a new chapter of the award-winning Suits Recruits, an interactive, multi-platform social game. Suitors engaged in record numbers with the legal sequel Suits Recruits: Class Action, which showed an increase of 76% in uniques and 81% in visits from last year.
