It’s been and interesting few days for one of the Gods of hip hop. Kanye West released his seventh studio album, The Life of Pablo in an incredible event last Thursday.

Kanye had his Yeezy Season 3 fashion show release at Madison Square Garden, where he also performed the new album. A few days later, he performed two songs on Saturday Night Live.

The album was initially streamed live on the music service Tidal, where it was met with tremendous technical difficulties. The record was soon available elsewhere, like Kanye’s official webpage. BUT, Kanye is a fickle beast. He, only a few days later, came out saying that the only way to get The Life of Pablo, would be on Tidal. (Pro Tip: You could potentially find the album on Torrent sites).

The Life of Pablo, is 18 tracks of pure Kanye. The lyrics, as usual, are deep and have multiple meanings. My personal favorites are Wave (at one time the title track of the album), 30 hours and Fade. Fade is going to be remixed from here til 2017. Adding a dembow beat to Fade will be incredible.

The whole release was punctuated by Kanye’s drunken Twitter rant on Sunday. He had gone on to say he was $55 Million in debt, and asked Mark Zuckerberg to invest in “Kanye Ideas”. His twitter stream then devolved into dissing publications for not giving it high enough scores on their reviews. He called out Pitchfork and other “white” publications and told them to not “comment on black music” anymore. Seriously, go to Kanye’s Twitter, its incredible.

Regardless of the controversy, this album is all the Fire Emoji.

It features other artists such as Frank Ocean, Rihanna, Andre 3000, Chance The Rapper, Chris Brown, and more.

The only (legitimate) method of getting The Life of Pablo is on Tidal. It will eventually be released on other platforms, but for now you can get a free month trial to give it a listen.

This photo was snapped today of musician now actor Andrew 3000 (André Lauren Benjamin) in the role of guitar LEGEND Jimi Hendrix, on the set of the biopic “All Is By My Side”

Not much is out there on the film. It takes place in 1966 right as Hendrix moved back to London, before his fame. According to reports the film has been in production for quite some time now and they do not know if the Hendrix estate will allow the film to use any of his music! If you ask me, and you just did, there is no point in making a Jimi Hendrix biopic if you cannot secure any of his original tunes!
