Briefly: NBC has just released the trailer for Hannibal‘s anticipated third season.

You’ll have to wait until Summer for the season premiere (it was pushed a few months back), but the trailer certainly offers an exciting taste of what to come. This first footage shows Will hunting Doctor Lecter through Florence.

Gah, I cannot wait for this to come back. How do you feel? How about that second season? Take a look at the trailer below, and let us know what you think!

Briefly: NBC today debuted the full trailer for the next season of their critically acclaimed drama, Hannibal.

I can’t actually bring myself to watch the trailer, as I unfortunately haven’t yet finished (or started) the first season. From everything that I’ve heard about the show, it’s undeniably worth checking out, and I’m very much looking forward to doing so as soon as I get the chance.

Take a look at the new trailer below, and let us know if you’re excited for the series to return. Hannibal premieres on Friday, February 28th.

The dark and haunting series “Hannibal” returns for a second season, with more shocking revelations and games of psychological cat and mouse. Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) is locked in a mental asylum accused of Hannibal Lecter’s crimes (Mads Mikkelsen). Now that Will sees Hannibal for what he truly is, he faces a fight to prove his own sanity and convince those closest to him he is innocent of murder. Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) is dealing with his own feelings about Will, and whether his protégé is in fact a cold-blooded killer. Looking for answers, Jack turns to a man he has come to trust: Hannibal Lecter. With Will locked up, Hannibal becomes Jack’s new consultant on cases. Hannibal is torn between self-preservation and his desire to keep Will close to him, despite advice from his psychiatrist Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) to stay away.

The deadly dance between these characters continues to turn in startling and unexpected ways, in a season that will show nothing can ever be the same again…

Another day, another preview for Hannibal.

Late last night, NBC released a lengthy new preview for their anticipated crime drama Hannibal. We’ve seen a multitude of trailers and TV spots for this one lately as the series premiere is now just a few weeks away, but last night’s trailer is the longest we’ve seen, and offers plenty of exciting fresh footage.

Watch the new preview below, and let us know what you think! Hannibal premieres on April 4th!

One of the most fascinating literary characters comes to life on television for the first time: psychiatrist-turned-serial killer, Dr. Hannibal Lecter. In this new drama from Bryan Fuller (“Pushing Daisies,” “Heroes”), based on the characters from Thomas Harris’ classic novels, we see where this incredible story began.

Will Graham is a gifted criminal profiler who is on the hunt for a serial killer with the FBI. Graham’s unique way of thinking gives him the astonishing ability to empathize with anyone – even psychopaths. He seems to know what makes them tick. But when the mind of the twisted killer he’s pursuing is too complicated for even Will to comprehend, he enlists the help of Dr. Lecter, one of the premier psychiatric minds in the country. Armed with the uncanny expertise of the brilliant doctor, Will and Hannibal (known as a serial killer only to the audience) form a brilliant partnership and it seems there’s no villain they can’t catch. If Will only knew…

Starring brilliant young actor Hugh Dancy as Will Graham, “Hannibal” will breathe new life into a deadly classic.

Thus far, marketing for NBC’s upcoming Hannibal has failed to excite me on the same level that A&E’s Bates Motel has. Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited as hell for Hannibal, and it doesn’t look bad by any means, but A&E has simply done a phenomenal job prepping and promoing Bates Motel, that it would be tough for any upcoming series to match.

NBC today released a new preview for Hannibal, which is set to premiere in just under a month, on April 4th. The trailer features plenty of new footage, and definitely does well at setting the tone for the coming series.

Earlier this month we were able to feast on a short (but sweet) 30-second teaser for NBC’s upcoming Hannibal. Today, a two-minute international trailer has been released, giving us a much better idea of what to expect.

Watch the new trailer below, and let us know what you think! Hannibal stars Hugh Dancy, Mads Mikkelsen, Laurence Fishburne, and more, and will premiere on April 4th.

With Hannibal and Bates Motel premiering so close to one another, which one (if not both) are you looking forward to?

It’s been a busy week for NBC’s Hannibal. First the show got a cool new piece of key art, just a day later the premiere date was revealed, and now the first teaser for the show has been released!

The teaser is short, but very sweet; the show certainly looks to have a Dexter feel to it, as Hannibal Lecter is both working with the police, and being the scarily disturbing fellow that we all know and love.

Watch the teaser below, and let us know what you think! Hannibal premieres on Thursday, April 4th!

Following yesterday’s key art reveal for NBC’s Hannibal, showrunner Brian Fuller has (finally) announced the date of the long-awaited series premiere.

Awesome. While it seems like everyone was expecting Hannibal to premiere in either Summer or Fall, we’re getting a Spring launch of the series. I’m pretty excited for this one; we haven’t seen a trailer yet, but the images revealed so far have all looked pretty great.

This puts Hannibal’s premiere just a month after that other contemporary serial killer prequel series (which also looks fantastic), Bates Motel.

Will you be tuning in?

hannibal-date

It’s been some time since we’ve seen or heard anything come out of NBC’s currently-in-production Hannibal prequel (we saw a first batch of images all the way back in October), so it’s nice to know that someone over there is thinking about us.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, NBC has released a romantic new piece of key art for the series. The image features Hannibal himself (Mads Mikkelsen) resting his chin on an eerily white skull while plenty of other bones (and a bouquet of roses) litter the table in front of him. Creepy.

Check out the image below, and let us know what you think! The 13 episode first season currently has no release date, but will feature a pilot directed by David Slade (Hard Candy, 30 Days of Night).
