SDCC 2016: ‘Bad Santa 2’ Is The Movie No One Asked For; But It’s The Movie We All Want!

It’s no secret that San Diego Comic Con has, over the years, changed. Turning from small book vendors and toy collectors, to everything pop culture. It’s also the time of year when we get a lot, and I mean A LOT, of new trailers for upcoming films. So when I saw the trailer for Bad Santa 2 I wasn’t really sure if I was at the right convention. I don’t really know if anyone wanted a sequel to this movie, but with how utterly dark and hilarious the first one was I’ve got high hopes.

Bad Santa 2 stars Billy Bob Thorton, Tony Cox, Brett Kelly, Kathy Bates, and Christina Hendricks (my waifu). You can see it in theaters November 23rd.

Ryan Gosling To Direct His First Film: ‘How To Catch A Monster’ Will Star Christina Hendricks

You read that right. Ryan Gosling, has shown us he can act fairly well, and now he will be trying to prove his writing and directing skills with the upcoming film “How to Catch a Monster”.

Described as “A fantasy noir meets suspenseful thriller”, it will take place in a vanishing city set in the modern day. The lead character, Billy (Hendricks), is a single mother who gets caught up in the dark underworld of the city while her son, Bones, finds a road to an underwater city. They both find themselves caught up in a mystery that they must solve in order to survive.

Filming is slated to start in Spring of 2013, no other info has been released but we will keep you up to date.
