This week Andrew and Brooke breakdown their favorite films under the TouchStone Pictures label!

You know you’re from the Midwest when you’re more disgusted watching a man eat a raw ear of corn like a goddamn savage than by the insane corn monster swallowing teenagers whole. Our 3rd listener submitted pick is CHILDREN OF THE CORN III: URBAN SACRIFICE (1995), and good lord is this movie good! This is 100% USDA organic HMN perfection in celluloid form, and we just can’t say enough nice things about it. If you haven’t seen it, THIS is the one that gets the show stamp of approval! Though we’re left to wonder if Screaming Mad George has ever actually SEEN an ear of corn…

We take another break from Disney Talk in order to focus on the Top 5 Reasons Andrew is Single as decided by Andrew. Brooke is there to either disagree or support this list. This is one of our most introspective episodes.

Tag team turmoil made a surprise return and the winners are even more surprising…We also saw Randy Orton continue to bring the aggression to Kofi and The New Day!

Before closing the show out the boys break down the huge weekend that AEW has coming up! It’s been a while since the last time we got to fawn over Phil Fondacaro’s charm, so Brian did us the favor of picking THE CREEPS (1997), also known by the incredibly insensitive alternate title DEFORMED MONSTERS! Is this the worst acting we’ve ever seen on Horror Movie Night? Matt thinks so, but he also seems to forget about TERROR TOONS and DRIVE THRU… Watch as diminutive versions of the Universal Monsters terrorize people who took half of an acting class, possibly while drunk or half asleep. It’s kind of like watching THE MONSTER SQUAD in the wrong aspect ratio. Or nothing like that at all, we can’t tell anymore.

With all 3 members of DisNeato traveling like crazy we didn’t find any time to sit down and record this week. So here’s a blooper of Andrew explaining his lunch to Brooke for 5 minutes. Enjoy!

If you’re like us, you were a weird virgin in high school who probably went through a dizzying amount of hand lotion for mysterious reasons Mom didn’t want to acknowledge. Come with us on a journey down Memory Lane, which dead ends at CHERRY FALLS (2000), this week’s decidedly un-erotic slasher about teens banging their way away from a cross-dressing Jay Mohr. The nostalgia factor is running about as high as our hormones in 2000, but hopefully our desperation doesn’t scare you away like the overpowering cologne we borrowed from someone after gym. Just like us, please?????

We’ve been threatening to do this for a while but we finally did. We sat down and discussed some of the hidden filth that you can find in Disney cartoons. Spoiler alert, it’s a lot of male sex organs.

In Matt’s continuing efforts to make his friends watch questionable giant killer animal movies, he has chosen THE LAST SHARK from 1981 to punish Brian and Scott with this week, and hoo boy. This film was such a blatant JAWS ripoff, that it was pulled from US theaters, which would’ve inadvertently saved dozens of people from wasting their time and money on watching it in 1981. But thanks to the digital age, here we are, wasting time and money watching and discussing a movie where a rubber shark drags an entire helicopter into the ocean. Summer’s almost over, and so is your chance to get that beach bod toned up by a few chomps from a Great White!

Andrew is in Atlanta so Brooke and Producer Matt sit down and discuss their feelings on the newest Disney release The Lion King!

The team and Katie checked out Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark which came out this weekend so you didn’t have to and final verdict is you should see it and then listen to our episode!

The crew is back with a run in from Mega Ran real quick! Travel well commander! This is the go home show! We’re heading back to the killer doll well to talk alien demons, robot laser tag and the diminishing returns of Full Moon franchises with PUPPET MASTER 4! That’s about all we need to get a good episode out of this one, but rest assured, there’s more to talk about than just that. But really. Stork statue kill.

On Raw new tag champs were crowned and the boys get into the Jimmy Uso arrest and ROK points out that Jimmy Uso took the pin…coincidence? The US title will be defended at Summer Slam and Ricochet will challenge the Phenomenal 1 AJ Styles!!!! The boys also discuss the odd booking for one Mike Kanellis, who laid down for his wife Maria so she could become the new and first ever pregnant champion. Question is, who’s going to pin a pregnant lady? To wrap up RAW the fellas discuss the absolute destruction of one Seth Rollins courtesy of The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar! Seriously is Seth alive? 

Gears are switched over to Smackdown and the boys talk the return of the legendary Trish Stratus who was rudely interrupted by Charlotte, and she clearly wants all the smoke! Are we excited to see Charlotte vs. Trish at Summer Slam? Ali battled Shinsuke which appears to be leading to a match for the IC title, and let me tell you the boys are here for it!

Outside of the WWE the boys break down the recent news from AEW as they introduce the matches that will be on their inaugural episode! Are we excited about the reveals thus far? Resident AEW insider Neo Ecks breaks it down for us!

We’re back with another round of Jam or Not a Jam discussing the first of the 5 volume “Classic Disney” releases of the late 90’s/early 2000’s. Apologies for some slight sound inconsistencies on this week’s episode.

On another installment of “It’s A Movie,” your boys at HMN hit the beach and bring home some blood-thirsty mutant babies with Larry Cohen’s classic (?) IT’S ALIVE 3: ISLAND OF THE ALIVE (1987). There’s a whole lot of Michael Moriarty chewing scenery, some stop-motion really doing it for Matt, and some real Troma-esque rubber suit fighting under the pier near the end. It’s got everything a summer blockbuster needs….right? Squeeze out some sunscreen for us so we don’t get burned any more than we already did with this week’s pick on Horror Movie Night!

MatManiacs it is time for the reunion that you actually want to see!  That’s right the whole crew is back together again recording live from the illustrious DigiLabs Arena. 

The fellas super kick things off with the Put Over segment and then get right into the biggest news of the week courtesy of AEW! With the AEW announcement will we see some counter programming from the WWE?  Speaking of the WWE, they had a reunion this past Monday night and let’s just it may or may not get buried!  Also discussed is one of the illustrious Big 4 pay per views being a little over 2 weeks away and the build being minimal at this point.  Will the WWE get it together in time for SummerSlam? It’s no secret we relish bad horror movies on the show, but sometimes even bad horror can be in bad taste. Take, for example, this week’s urban clown demon mess KILLJOY (2000). Even with a runtime of just over an hour, this one was pretty painful for everyone, so thanks for that, Brian. Watching it as an anti-drug PSA at points may help viewers avoid smoking hell-joints that look like Pepperidge Farm Pirouettes or buying drugs from a pointy-toothed clown with stupid hair. Maybe. Get lit and listen to us try to unravel this low-budget mystery on another episode of Horror Movie Night!
