NBC Renews ‘Will and Grace’ for Third Season!

Listen up, Honey!

The show has returned and will return for two more seasons. The creators asked that their audience simply forget that the series finale ever happened. Will and Grace don’t have children, they aren’t in a relationship with anyone and Grace lives with Will and their friends Jack and Karen come and go as they please. It was the fab four that audiences fell in love with twenty years ago when the pilot first aired in 1999. It is the fab four that the audiences continue to love today.

The episode orders have been constantly raised. When the initial announcement came, that the show was going to be back on air, the episode count was 12. In August of 2017, it was announced at the TCA’s that the episode count for the first season was actually going to be 16 episodes. They also announced that the show had been renewed for a second season. It was announced at Paley Center on March 17th, that the show was coming back for a 3rd season. It’s episode order is 18, which is also now the count of the second season.

“As far as I’m concerned, we can’t get enough of ‘Will & Grace’ and 23 more episodes is music to my ears,” Greenblatt said. “We’re eternally grateful that Debra, Eric, Sean and Megan feel the same way and wanted to keep this good thing going. I’m overwhelmed by the euphoric response the new show has received from the press and the audience, and my hat is off to the unrivaled writing team of Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, as well as the brilliant directing of Jimmy Burrows, for consistently delivering one of the best shows on television.”

Maintaining a 9.8 overall rating, “Will and Grace” is NBC’s most-watched primetime comedy at this point in the season in eight years. With it’s return, the guest stars have included the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Alec Baldwin, Minnie Driver, Ben Platt, Molly Shannon, Jane Lynch, Andrew Rannells and others. One can only guess who will be coming back in the next two seasons.

Will & Grace” stars Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally. Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, who co-created the series, write and executive produce. James Burrows directs and executive produces. “Will & Grace” is produced by Universal Television.
