Rounding out one more highlight from this mornings Nindie presentation, is Snake Pass.

Developed by Sonic and All Stars Racing developer Sumo Digital, Snake Pass is a 3D physics platformer where you play as a snake traversing many different worlds. The game was just recently announced for the Nintendo Switch, but that’s not the biggest part. The composer of the game is none other than legendary composer David Wise who is most known for his work on Donkey Kong Country 1, 2, 3 GBA, and Tropical Freeze.  The game has some gorgeous visuals and will release at the end of March on the 28th. Check out the trailer below and get grooving with some of those sweet trailer tunes.

Yooka Laylee is still around 2 months away from release, but there’s still plenty to say about the game before it launches on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on April 11th.

Today, Playtonic Games announced that the Soundtrack to the game will be available via CD, vinyl, and digital 4 days prior to the games release on April 7th. The soundtrack will include all music from the game and their composers such as DKC Veteran David Wise, Kameo composer Steve Burke, and Banjo/Viva Pinata composer himself Grant Kirkhope. If you’re interested in pre-ordering the soundtrack, check it out right here! What’s your favorite composition from the game? Tell us in the comments below!

Today Playtonic announced a new character that’ll be joining Yooka Laylee.

Kratos

Introducing Kartos the Minecart. In a quote from Playtonic: “Yooka will be taking advantage of Kartos and his services, as he is for ‘hire’ at various stages in the game. And why not? After all, his slogan is ‘Mein Kart ist Ihre Kart’ after all!” On top of that, they also included a sample of Kartos’s theme, composed by legendary composer David Wise himself. Check out the awesome tune right HERE! Who’s your favorite character in Yooka Laylee so far?
