Sure, former kings like Resident Evil and Silent Hill may have lost their way (and I only hope that they can find it again), but with titles like Dying Light, The Evil Within, Daylight and more coming later this year, it certainly feels like the genre has been reinvigorated.

I’m always up for a good scare, and so far, Zombie Studios’ Daylight looks fantastic. The Blacklight: Retribution developer just launched a new trailer for the procedurally generated survival horror game, which is coming very soon to PC and PS4.
