| Bigyanks and Fushna want to get PHYSICAL, they want to see their body talk. | bigyanks | 3 weeks, 1 day ago |
| I had good luck with the 4 hour body stuff. I did the Slow Carb diet he outlines in his book and very basically here: http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/2007/04/06/how-to-lose-20-lbs-of-fat-in-30-days-without-doing-any-exercise/ I definitely didn't lose 20 lbs of fat in 30 days, but I lost about 35 lbs from April - October by following the diet fairly strictly and hitting the Y twice a week for some basic weightlifting and doing yoga once a week. I've fallen off the diet some over the holidays, but I think since I lost it fairly slowly (maybe 2 or 3 a week, once it kicked in) the weight has been holding fairly steady. |

| Favorite Arcade Moments | SaintMort | on 08/31/2011 |
| We didn't have an arcade in my town, but our pizza hut had one arcade game that they rotated out every few months. All of the games were definitely hard to get anywhere on with only the quarter or two my folks were willing to give me. Robocop and N.A.R.C. were two of the games I definitely couldn't get far on. As I got older and could travel farther I got really into the multi-player, side-scrolling games. X-men, the Simpsons game, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were my favorites. I actually got to help beat the Simpsons game once. It's not super clear in my memory, but I want to say it cost us almost $40. |

| Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet is fantastic. Reminds me of the old side-scrolling metroids. | ||

- Fallout is the best. By far my favorites of the current generation of video games. If you feel like going down memory lane the old ones are great, too, (although Fallout 2 is better than Fallout 1)

- Great show.
I'm also a big fan of dystopia and the post-apocalypse! Some notable mentions from my reading history:
The Giver by Lois Lowry (excited to hear your discussion)
Ender's Game by (the unfortunately bigoted) Orson Scott Card,
Snow Crash and The Diamond Age, both by Neal Stephenson
A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter M. Miller, Jr
Lord of the Flies by William Golding
Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
Market Forces by Richard K. Morgan
Neuromancer, and the books that followed, by William Gibson
Starship Troopers, by Robert Heinlein (SO DIFFERENT FROM THE MOVIE!)
And a lot of Philip K Dick stuff, but Man in the High Castle is my favorite.
For comics, I haven't read much that was distopian that you guys didn't discuss. I WILL say that I liked the movie version of both V for Vendetta and Watchmen better than I liked the graphic novels.

- News: First Pic Of Adrianne Palicki in Wonder Woman Costume
- Looks really plasticky. Hopefully it'll look a little less cheesy when properly lit and color corrected. (The boobs, however, may steal the show!)
