| The Walking Dead - TV Show | MuleD | on 11/17/2011 |
| I don't get it. Why are there people complaining that there isn't enough zombie action? I'm not sure what they thought they were going to see when they announced a Walking Dead TV series. It's not about gore, or horror, or fear, or even zombies. It's about what happens to humanity after our society is destroyed. It's a DRAMA focusing on the harsh reality of what living in that world means; hard decisions, people dying for no reason, self preservation, the cost of denying the inevitable. It wouldn't be any different if instead of zombies, it took place during a nuclear winter. Like it or not, this is the show. It hasn't been screwed up (at least not for the same reasons some people think it has). If you want more zombie killing then you should have campaigned for a Dawn of the Dead TV show, because you're not the target audience. Still, the translation to TV isn't perfect. It's taking WAY too long for anything to happen. Hershel's farm should have been 3 episodes tops. Fortunately, it's on AMC where they're OK with making TV that doesn't pull punches, so when those major "holy shit" moments come up, it'll be worth it. |

| I'm trying to help my brother out with his job search. he moved to Chicago a couple months ago thinking that he would find SOMETHING. But now he's out of money. His specialty is IT work, and I think he'd move anywhere for a job. So if you know a guy or know a guy who knows a guy, here's his resume. | ||

I'm sketching out this idea I have for a zombie-themed set for playing "bags" or "cornhole"![]() The bags themselves will be brains. |

| What movies scared you as a child? | SaintMort | on 09/26/2011 |
| Poltergeist. The part with the braces, the tree, and the melting face. Looks cheesy to me now, but the memory of how scared I was will still scare me now. | ||

| So I bought a Kinekt, yeah I'm the one. It's been a pain in the ass to find any decent games for it, but this weekend I tried out the demos for Gunstringer, Fruit Ninja, and Burnout Crash. If you're the other guy who bought one, I would highly recommend these games. |
